Okay, so it's been about a month but better late than never. Team was extremely helpful. They scheduled me in for appointment to get estimate. When scheduled, they offered ride to rental company. They were going to take a while to do all repairs however, they finished earlier than expected. At the end, insurance was not cooperating, but Carlos reassured me and broke down the process for me, telling me about process to get everything repaired. At the end of the day, everything was repaired back to factory satisfaction. The girls at the front made everything seem pleasant and were ready to assist me with everything that was needed. They got ahold of the rental company through special numbers when I couldn't get a hold of them, and even offered to take me to the rental company. I picked up my car at the end of the day and went straight home. Once I got home I needed something from my trunk and noticed that the right side of the rear bumper got damaged and I called them and left a voicemail. Next day I called again and I went to the shop met with Edgar to show him the damages. Edgar showed me a picture of the left side of the bumper but the damages were on the right side. Edgar became ballistic, he was yelling at me and he didn't want to show me a picture of the right side. Also I signed a report when I dropped off my car and there were no damages marked. I had to leave since he was horrible. I called my insurance and next day Carlos asked me to come again and show my car. After looking at the damages he said he needed to talk to the owner and we will get back to me. After 2 weeks I called Carlos since I hadn't heard from him and he said since I didn't check my car the day I picked it up he couldn't do anything. He also said that the have video surveillance but he didn't want to go through and see if the damages happened at their shop. I would not recommend this establishment. 1 month and 2 weeks I took my car for a bumper front collision repair from an incident that happened while I was parked at work. A female and a male person prepared the estimate for $ 1,600 and a few more dollars. They said that they will repair that area, but they would not be able to guarantee the work for life and I agreed, so I told them go ahead. Few minutes later I went to get the rental car and came back to the shop to let the female person (owner) know that I will be paying out of pocket with funds from a check that I had received from the insurance that hit my car and any changes in price had to be notified to me. It took a week for them to get the job done, they called me on Friday about 3:00 pm saying that my car was ready, I asked them how much it was? they said $ 250 is your deductible. they were billing my insurance, even when I told them that the payment will come from a different source. I asked them what the total cost was, they said $ 2,829.52. When I heard that I felt so angry because they went over $ 1,200 more than what the estimate was, and they never gave me a call to let me know. That same day I had to return the rental car, so I had no choice because I had to work next day, so I paid $ 2, 829.52 minus $ 2,116.49 that I received from the insurance, the out of pocket was $ 713.03 that on the next 2 weeks I was trying to get reimbursed. The insurance was requesting photos that at the beginning Carlos (worker) was denying to e-mail, after I requested that to him several times he accepted, but he was being extremely rude and with an awful attitude. Finally, insurance got those pictures and they ended up denying to reimburse me the $ 713.03. Insurance said that they should have received a supplemental estimate specifying that they will replace the bumper instead of repairing it. So yes, these people replace the part instead of repair it, but they never told me. Two days ago, I called the shop just to let them know and asked why they never gave a call, but the female (owner) talked to me for a little bit, she was careless, inattentive and rude; and when I just started to let her know a bout it she just transferred me with Carlos, whom I did not want to talk to anymore. We too were given Malone's information by insurance as a preferred shop to utilize. I failed to read the reviews prior to choosing them and now wish I had. Horrible job ! Even after three attempts to fix a small dent on the hood of my stock vehicle. When we took our vehicle to this shop to ask if they could fix this we were told yes, with no problem. WRONG. They couldn't even get the STOCK paint color correct and their excuse was that the paint on the plastic portion that was replaced does not hold the paint as well as the metal parts of the car. Went to get an estimate on my vehicle and was immediately turned away by a staff member sitting at a folding table at the immediate entrance. He did not bother looking into details about my vehicle or even look at it. I was willing to show him paperwork with an active insurance claim waiting to get paired to an auto body shop of my own choosing and he shrugged it off and I asked "so you cant help me?" I always heard bad things about Progressive insurance claiming process.. and finally using it for an accident that happened awhile ago brought us to this repair facility, which was of course recommended by Progressive. Obviously I was skeptical but once I saw the end result, I was convinced that this place was the real deal! The car was repaired to like new, fully washed and waxed, and on top of all of that; even cleaned the inside to a like new state. Overall, I was very impressed by this company and its professionalism. I am going to call them soon and see if they want to make some money to detail another one of my cars since they did such a good job on our repair job. The day I was supposed to pick it up they called me telling me that my passenger side mirror "fell off" when they were washing it, and they would not replace it. We were directed to Malone's Collision by the insurance company as they were a preferred vendor. Customer service was difficult, and they seemed more interested in servicing their in-house insurance business over walk in business. Repairs were made to the passenger side front fender and passenger doors. The hood was not damaged in the collision however, they painted it to blend the paint. The clear coat on the hood is oxidizing so we decided to take it in to utilize the Lifetime Guarantee Malones offered. Unfortunately, we were told it was not covered and turned away with an estimate if we wanted to pay to have it done. The roof and rest of the car has the original paint and is showing no signs of wear. This indicates to me the paint job was inadequate as its not standing up to even the original paint on the car. Its very disappointing they don't stand by their lifetime guarantee. I would be careful in choosing Malones and shop around! read more
