I can give this shop 5 stars because I never got to see their finished work. At the suggestion of my insurance I brought my car in for an estimate after getting rear-ended and I felt so well taken care of. From intake at the front desk to the estimate, every aspect was well communicated, professional, and low stress. They communicated with my insurance company, they tried to get them to approve repair instead of totalling my poor sad car, and they seemed to share my disappointment in not being able to get it back to its former glory. It's been since November 10th that I dropped off my truck Spectrum Auto Collision. They took over 2 weeks to get an estimate to my insurance to get the repairs authorized and now it's over a month and my trucks finally at Cardinale Gmc in seaside waiting for parts for them to work because it took spectrum so long to get the approval. I honestly think the body shops interest is more for the insurance company than the customer. I came to them thinking it would streamline things being they are certified Gieco repair center. Big mistake on my part. I honestly don't understand how they have so many positive reviews? There communication is horrible and really have dropped the ball on my repair. I could of fixed the truck myself in a fraction of the time it's taken them. read more

I was reluctant to use a shop recommended by an insurance company, but I'm really glad I did. Bryanna coordinated my rental car pickup and drop off - what a relief - and explained what to expect. And Osvaldo walked through the inspection and necessary repairs. The communication was excellent and so were the repairs. The team at spectrum did an amazing job repairing my bumper. The customer service was friendly, transparent, and informative. Their assessment of the damage left me feeling at ease knowing that my car will be fixed good as new, and it was. The results came out great, plus they were able to see me right away and start the repair work ASAP which was a huge relief for me. Their turnaround time from drop off to pick up was perfect with good updated communication throughout the process. Overall I really enjoyed my experience with Spectrum, they detailed my car inside and out afterwards where I was really able to see the fine work they did. As you all know my life is in the Bay Area. My job covers Northern California, and Nevada. I found this place, because my car insurance recommended them. The other party's insurance paid for my repairs at this shop. They were a lot faster than any other shop I've been to, it was kind of surprising. On a side note they are partnered with Enterprise, which mind you... makes me want to buy a new car every time I rent from them. Dam you Enterprise! It's their fault my mid life crisis car is a Dodge Challenger. Anyhow, I dropped my car off Monday at Noon, picked it up by yesterday at 11:30AM. 5 business days. What the hell is this witchcraft? I've honestly never seen an auto body shop have that fast of a turn around time. Other places had my car had my car a minimum of 2 weeks. This place called Service King in the Bay Area, was by far the worst! They had my car for a month. The staff here was really friendly, I like them a whole lot. The decor of the office was great. Reminded me of a Barber shop I managed from a few years ago. I think it would be really great if they did open for a few hours Saturday morning in the office. Maybe a 9am-11am? I was lucky to buy a great car at a good price, the problem was that the hood had 7 dents in it! After checking the finances for fixing or replacing, replacing quickly became the better option. I was referred to a well regarded local auto parts store and ordered a new hood. I delivered the new hood to Spectrum- after it was ready, I left my car with them for an hour to replace the hood with the newly painted one. Spectrum matched the color perfectly!! It is perfect! Fantastic work, professional from start to finish. I'm impressed with how easy they made the whole process of fixing my Jeep after a minor collision. I even got text updates at every step of the process, prompt phone calls when there were delays on parts and a website I could use to see the estimate and progress. They worked well with Geico, took care of the paperwork for the claim. They even cleaned and detailed the inside of my Jeep. I had my BMW bumper repaired at Spectrum. Left the shop thinking 5-stars of the bumper repair. Driving home immediately noticed by clip-on sun visor was no longer attached to the main sun visor. It was in the floor on the passenger side. Then I noticed damage to my inner liners: both left and right pillars. Immediately call back to the shop. was told, no problem, we will fix it! After returning, was told for approx $400 (parts and labor) , we can fix it. I pay for half and they pay for half. No. Before and after pictures clearly shows, someone at Spectrum detached both liners from their columns. I'm not going to pay for Spectrum to damage my vehicle! Today: Spectrum tells me, ..."I don't care about the damage to your car. you fix it. see you in small claims court.... Absolutely poor customer service when things go wrong with their labor force!!!! read more

I'm only going to be talking about my experience at this location, I was referred by a coworker and you know how that goes you trust the advice of people you know. I own an NSX which is considered a collectors car or exotic. I needed my front lip repaired as it was cracked, quoted me $500 so I said lets do it! Few days later I come back and I was shocked to see the work was less then mediocre, crack was still there and what were simple masking off and getting lines straight looked horrible. Remember this shop was referred to me! The owner Lionel makes up a lot of excuses saying you get what you pay for. Wow, so if your looking for quality work this shop probably won't be the shop for you. I come from 10 years of dealership/automotive background and I see paint work all the time. This ranks pretty low in my book. I attached photos so you can be the judge of it and you tell me if you would be ok with this. Note I did go back to ask about repainting another bumper/panel for another vehicle of mine I literally was shocked when he handed me a quote for $2,931.31 . That's when I knew it was time to go, if your considering quality work as I ended up taking my NSX to Joe Malones to repaint my bumper came out perfect! Also took my other car to 101 collision who ended up repainting the whole car for less then Spectrum quoted to do a bumper. read more

Somebody took a B B gun to the drivers side door of my pick up truck and this shop had done a wonderful job on the repairs. The truck looks as good as new when I received it and completely detailed from end to end. The staff is also wonderful to work with. They even give you their rental car when you need one. These guys worked on 3 of my vehicles, the first time 3 years ago and don't remember what was damaged but do remember my car came back cleaner and better than when I brought it and for some reason buffed out cloudy head lights I mean over and above the original damage, for that reason I immediately remembered to bring my truck back to Lionel at Spectrum, after letting my Son drive my truck to HS, it was sideswiped by another student in the parking lot, I trust these guys and again was blown away that when we picked it up my truck looked like it just came from the Dealer lot, This time I was in my Corvette for a small issue, Lionel suggested a paint modification along with a repair. His shop is immaculate with nice waiting reception area, he kept my Vette inside for two weeks with the same consistent results, I will always bring my vehicles to Spectrum, I have tried several other body shops prior had the repair OK but thats it I definitely did not feel the same comfort level, the rest of the car looked as if took on all the sanding particles and with Spectrum if first impressions mean anything be prepared to be impressed, it very rare service in today's society, the little extra may just be wash job on the car upon delivery but it goes a long way, with modern technology but old fashioned values. My Vette turns heads and I get alot of compliments. If you're not getting results like I get from Spectrum then your missing out. This is my first review and wrote this because I was totally amazed with Lionel and his operation. My Wife was out shopping last Holiday and we believe someone tried to pop her door with a crow bar, small repair but Spectrum will seeing us soon. read more
