Due to a horizontal crack across my truck's windshield I needed to get it replaced ASAP. So I took to Yelp to find someone to solve my problem. Andres w/ Andy Auto Glass was the first to promptly reply. We set the appointment time, location, negotiated the price, he answered all my questions and provided other details all through the Yelp app. SIDE NOTE FOR YELP VENDORS: As a customer, I use the app because of the convenience of communicating with multiple vendors simultaneously. It saves me time from having to make multiple phone calls and keep a written record of each conversation. Unfortunately, some of you lost my business because you refused to communicate through the app and instead wanted me to call. I understand that some jobs require more information, but you'd be amazed what can be done if you use the technology at your fingertips. This however was not my experience with Andres...the entire transaction was done through the app. Thank you Andres! The mobile service he provided was also super convenient. He met me at my place of employment and did the job on site while I was working. I didn't have to miss work or call in late. He arrived early, assessed the situation, explained what he was going to do and how long it would take him. I was even able to pay him not with a check or cash, but with my card. This is the second window of my Ram Promaster 3500 that Andy Auto Glass has done for me. I swapped out the fixed, factory glass for two half-slider windows in order to make it more comfortable inside the van and allow for fresh air flow. Andy is extremely friendly, responsive, and a craftsman. He was able to remove the factory glass without the glass breaking, allowing me to resell them. And in doing the installation, he even fixed one of the window pulls that had unglued. My car window was broken and I called this service to replace my window. My window was replaced in a EXTREMELY BAD WAY! The door panels are coming off and not set correctly. The window is not put on correctly, air comes in through the window once I put the car in motion. It's a new car and BMW's do not make noise or allow noise to come in. It was a complete waste of money. As I will have to replace the window again and pay for the labor. Not to forget, when I took the car to be tinted, the top panel was removed and showed the "Andy's Auto Glass" replaced a lost screw with tape. And still tried to lie to me about it when confronted. This gentleman refuses to fix my car panels and window. This is the worst, un trustworthy service I've ever gotten. Andy was awesome again!! I hate to have a window replaced 2 times in a year. But Andy was there!! First the windshield of my Honda, came out the next day. Then today the rear window on my Lexus shattered. I called Andy this morning, he said he can try and get me a new window by the next day. But he was going to make some calls. Within the hour, Andy called me back said he found the window and could be at my house between 11 and 12. Andy showed up at 11:45. Replaced the window and the price was great!!
