Well time flies when your cracking windows. I had my wifes Jeep front windshield replaced and the same on my Lexus 430 SC. I also asked Steve to replace a blown speaker and the silly antenna that the car wash ate. Both were done cleanly and reasonably priced cheaper than what I had paid for a just a speaker install at a local stereo shop. We had also just bought a used truck and the windshield had issues and the outer passenger door handle was cracked. Steve and Sunlite to the rescue, they fixed both issues and again at a great price. My car was broken into today. I called 2 other places who couldn't replace my window until 3days later & gave me a ridiculous quote. I called Sunlite & they gave an appointment on the same day, had the replacement in stock & gave me the cheapest price of the 3. When I got there, they gave prompt/professional service & had the repair done & car cleaned of all the glass within 30 min!! About 2 months ago a semi truck cracked my windshield with the help of my insurance company I choose Sunlite Auto glass. I spoke to the owner Steve and he was really nice and patient. He explained the process of getting my windshield replaced and made sure to answer all my questions and encouraged me to call him if I had any other questions. Which I ended up having to call him again because my bf had questions that I didn't think to ask. Steve took the time to answer all my questions and even offered to speak to my bf if he had any additional questions. Steve was very flexible when it came to booking my appointment and basically worked around my schedule. When I showed up for my appointment Steve told me the replacement process would take about an hour and not that I was timing him but he was done within 50 minutes!! And my car looked perfect. My insurance recommended Safelite for my car window replacement. I tried to make an appointment but one week was the soonest they could see me. I then called a few others in town and had the same result until I called Sunlite. The person answering the phone was very polite and professional and said they could do my window that day. To my surprise, they had my car done in about an hour. They throughly cleaned my back seat free of glass and actually gave it back tons cleaner than when I left it with them. After a horrific experience in San Francisco, which apparently is the "Smash n Grab" capital, Sunlite renewed our faith in humanity. With a smashed rear hatch window, a wife and 18 month old in the car and a number of stolen items, we had to travel from the San Francisco to San Diego with a stop in Salinas overnight. After calling every window shop in Salinas and Monterey we came across Steve at Sunlight Auto Glass. Steve answered the phone at 8:30AM on a Saturday morning while in the middle of job. 90% of the phone calls I made had a voicemail at the end of them, so this is already a big deal. Getting the specific rear window for our car on a Saturday morning is a difficult task, especially considering our tight schedule and every shop in the area was quoting 2 or 3 days. Steve reached out to his distributor but they wouldn't be able to stock it until Monday, which is understandable. Feeling bad for us Steve offered to patch our window up so that we can make it down to San Diego. I had to use what wasn't stolen to try and create some type of barrier between the outside elements, broken glass and the passengers inside. Steve went above and beyond and did a fantastic job clearing out the broken glass, vacuuming it all up and taping up the back window with plastic. We had no problems with the window while traveling back home. This is a testament to the quality and character of the people at Sunlite. This was a breath of fresh air after the degenerate scumbags that broke out the window and stole my daughters baby clothes.
