Very professional and detailed. This is my third repair with Sudden Impact. Frank has repaired my BMW and Mercedes (over the last 2 years). I was driving along the freeway, and out of nowhere a rock or something hit my windshield. Well the little spot began to crack. Concerned, I called around to different repair shops trying to figure out how much this would cost me. I was referred to Frank (the owner), who repairs windshields. Frank said he would seal the chipped area for $75. After he arrived at my home (he will travel to where you are), he inspected the windshield and said he could repair it. He also recommended that I call my insurance company because most insurance companies will cover his service without having to pay the deductible. When he finished, Frank suggested that I call my insurance company to cover the cost. I didn't even think to call them for such a minor repair, but sure enough, they waived the deductible and made arrangements to send the payment directly to Frank. The fee for the service would have been $70 for the 2 chips. I think that is very reasonable and was happy to pay that to save the windshield, but no money out of my pocket is even better! The last time this happened I procrastinated a couple of days and the chip had a traveling crack that, in a few days, got so bad that it led to a windshield replacement. Not cheap and not easy.
