First, I went in to make an appointment and they said if I had 30 minutes the "bulls eye" damage to my windshield could be addressed immediately, and completed in 30 minutes,. Not only was the job completed in less than 30 minutes, but the repair - which I thought was predominantly to stabilize the damage so the crack wouldn't grow, actually somehow mitigated the damage, so that it is now minimally noticeable. Incredible repair! Also would like to thank Christina in the front office, who gave a detailed overview of auto insurance glass claims which was extremely helpful. The dealership I use works with Alans so recommended I call after getting a claim started with my car insurance company. After getting the run around, and spending an unbelievable amount of time on the phone, with said insurance company, I called and spoke with Cristina who was like a breath of fresh air! She is very busy so played a little phone tag, but once she explained what I needed to do with my ins company and dealership the process got started and was easy after. Since I have a busy work schedule, I was impressed with the fact they fit me in on a short notice a day after I called and said I was available. Listen to them when they tell you they can't do something. A rock chipped my windshield while I was traveling. I stopped to try and get it fixed right away and ended up here. Christina told me the chip was bigger than 2 in and their machine wouldn't be able to stabilize it properly. I went for it anyway and the crack ended up spreading later anyway. I picked up a rock a few weeks ago that quickly turned into a long crack that spanned from the bottom to about the middle part of my windshield. To add insult to injury my insurance carrier tried to force me to go with a cheaper aftermarket windshield even though my car was purchased new and is less than six months old. After a bit of back and fourth I was able to find this place on a list of providers that accepted my insurance. I was able to speak with Christina who is total gem and a rockstar by the way! She let me know she would speak with my insurance for me and was able to get my OEM windshield ordered the same day. After some thieves broke the back passenger window of my Honda CRV and stole my daughters backpack with lots of her belongings, I was traumatized. I went to a glass place in Salinas to get the window fixed and that didn't work out so I went to Allen's Auto Glass. They were extremely nice and efficient. Not only did they fix the back window, but they replaced by whole windshield that had a crack in it. I'm writing this a few months later. My back window stopped working for some reason and I brought it in. They got to it right away and found out that it didn't need any parts. Amazing. They fixed a bullseye chip in the glass roof of our tesla in about 30 minutes and it was difficult to find afterwards even looking for it. I heard about this place when we needed a new windshield for our Subaru and the dealer subcontracted the glass work out to them. It seems like most dealers in the area send their glass work here. They charge about half as much as safelite for rock chips... Wish I knew about them sooner! read more

I was having issues with my driver side window and it basically appeared to be off track and not rolling down properly. I called ahead to get an idea of what this would cost and spoke to Christine. She was so friendly and knowledgeable compared to other shops I called. She told me it's $85 to open the door and depending on what's going on, they can order parts on the same day. I was able to make a same/day appointment for a small rock chip windshield repair by phone with the very pleasant young woman who takes the calls and runs the office. The repair was completed COVID-style in the parking lot; I was able to stay in my car & work. The techs are all working outside & were not masked, but the same nice lady came out to the car (masked) to place the mirror inside the windshield as part of the repair process. She also kindly helped me to the credit card payment in my car without me having to sign with a pen or remove my mask. I would definitely go back to this business if needed. read more

My windshield picked up a massive crack from a rock on the highway. Originally my experience was great with Alan's they were able to coordinate with Subaru and get if fixed right up. Not two weeks later I picked up another chip this time small, so I thought I would ask if maybe I could fix it myself, and if they had any recommendations. When I pulled up after work the tech in the shop was on a private call so I said excuse me sir , and he held up one finger so I waited. When his call ended I asked if I could ask him a quick question, and without looking at me, also rudely he said go talk to the woman in the shop. The women walked out and politely said I can help you. I said great I have a quick question and it doesn't seem like your tech wants to answer it. We'll the guy goes off yelling at me telling me he was busy ( not to busy to have a private call on speaker with his buddy in the middle of the shop) I said I know your busy but I had a technical question. He kept yelling so I got upset by this point so I yelled back. He tells me to get the BLANK out of his shop so I said are you the owner, and he says ya I am (he didn't look like the owner but who knows) what could I do I began to leave on the way out I say you know you guys fixed my windshield two weeks ago and I had a question about repair but that's ok I'll go somewhere else and make sure I don't come here again. One look from the women who runs the office and the guy starts following to my car frantically trying to apologize I forgot about the part where he said he would kick my BLANK if I didn't leave suffice it to say I was having none of it!!! Excellent experience! Had a large crack in my Tesla Model 3 windshield. After messing around with Safelite (who called me the night before the appointment to tell me that they were 4-6 weeks away from getting the glass) to the Tesla "recommended" vendor in the Monterey area (a local body shop whose estimator was HORRIBLE at response and follow-up...kept blowing me off when I called to follow-up after he provided a quote) I found Alan's. Had already wasted 6 weeks with the other two vendors. Alan's made it happen. EXCELLENT communication. Kristina in the office was terrific to work with. Set expectations and delivered.
