Bread pudding with peaches and vanilla bean gelato

The service at the bar was next level! Amazing job, great drinks, food recommendations and just a whole fun vibe! Great Saturday night date spot with the husband! We had the white bean appetizer, amazing flavors, hot and crispy sourdough it was delicious! We split a pasta and then had the off menu bread pudding with vanilla gelato and fresh peaches. Everything was perfect- I wish we lived closer I would be here often!

This was such an amazing and authentic Italian experience in Tulsa! Our waitress was very knowledgeable in the menu and had great recommendations. I got the spaghetti and meatballs, and I loved the mixture of meats in the meatballs. The portion size was great, and my friends said the salmon was delicious! The restaurant itself was warm and inviting, down to the newspaper-style menu!

Amazing time! Beautiful restaurant, and the ambiance and atmosphere was a 10/10! The waitress had great recommendations, we started off with the white bean dip and sourdough, for dinner. I had the bucatini, which was so flavorful! I enjoyed a Hotel Nacional cocktail, and Sancerre wine with dinner. The dessert was amazing, ricotta cake with diplomat creme and Lemon curd!

Love the ambiance of this place feels like an Italian vacation inside! The waiters were great to answer questions and choose between different options. They recommended a great cocktail. I enjoyed my food, it was delicious. The dish I tried definitely leans a little less cream and more buttery, it was good but different. You have a choice to add protein to dishes and I added chicken and that was a good choice!

Visiting Malfi finally for the first time. This place is a poplar Brookside establishment in the Center One complex with great ambiance, and nifty menus. Great pasta and short ribs! They serve the sought after Country Bird Sourdough on several antipasti dishes and it's toasted and sprinkled on their ceasar salad. Run in quick for the fabulous fall drink special called the Fall Cinnamon Whiskey Sour.

Malfi is a new restaurant in heart of Brookside. The vibes are costal-chic and resemble the Almalfi Coast. I loved the color palate they chose inside. It's an Italian restaurant with house-made pastas. They have these cool newspaper menus. We tried a bit of everything. Carpaccio, Cesar salad with chicken, bolognese, rigatoni vodka pasta with meatballs. All dishes were 10/10 in flavor! We all agreed we thought our server acted as she didn't want to be there which was unfortunate because we loved every other aspect of the restaurant. I recommend this restaurant for date nights, date days, lunch with friends. We went for lunch and had reservations but probably didn't need them because it wasn't extremely busy. I'd imagine at night especially on the weekends getting a reservation would be best!

We tried Malfi with a group of 6. Service was excellent and I can't wait to go back. We started with the white bean dip & sourdough bread. I would HIGHLY recommend. We also tried the prosciutto and even though it was an overall hit with the group, I wasn't a huge fan. For dinner, my husband had the bolognese which was amazing. I ordered the Caesar salad and added chicken. It was okay but I most likely won't order again. Ambience is airy and open. There is a nice bar area with a full wine list & delicious cocktails.

Really enjoyed the experience here. Only tried the pasta so I can't say about the other dishes, but this is very enjoyable. Nice subtle flavor.

We joined some friends for dinner here and had a really nice time. The vibe is really fun! Great decor, friendly staff. Menus are so cool - they look like a newspaper. We shared an app that was pretty good - the Burrata cheese and bread. I ordered the pasta with creamy basil sauce with grilled chicken. It was okay - I didn't love it. The noodles were a little more firm than I was expecting. Not a ton of flavor. The grilled chicken was my favorite part of that dish. My friend ordered the same and loved it, so you might too? My husband ordered salmon and it was AMAZING - some of the best I've ever eaten! I'm getting this next time! The service was excellent!!!! The restaurant is in a nice part of town. We enjoyed walking around after dinner. Overall - great experience!

Could this place get any better? Everytime I go, it gets better! My favorite app is the white bean dip, but the arancini is amazing too. You can't go wrong with the Bucatini with whipped burrata and pesto or the Bolognese. The lemon ricotta cake is moist and decadent while being light and refreshing at the same time. Service is always great, and the decor is stunning. Can't wait to go back!

I didn't even know this location (formerly Freya) had reopened. The Hubs surprised me with a pre-Valentine's Day dinner here. This spot is definitely experiencing a "hot & new" reputation so I would highly recommend reservations. That being said, our reservation was for 8 pm and we were seated promptly but around 8:30 the place was emptying out. There were a few spots at the bar when we were seated. Maybe roll the dice... I love the decor, beachy but minimal. Definitely not over the top. The signage for the bathrooms is so cute! Trunks for one and a bikini for the other. I would never have known Freya was here. The bean dip was good and the bread is amazing. I would have liked some more of that bread with our entrees. I really thought everything was priced well. Our entrees were around $15. I had the Bucatini (with basil cream, pesto and whipped burrata). Really delicious! We tried the panna cotta for dessert. It was good but I wish we had tried something else. The fruit "conserva" seemed like dried cherries. The cherries were a good compliment to the panna cotta. I want the ricotta cake on our next visit. I also want to just sit and nosh on the appetizers--some more of that bean dip with Arancini and the Malfi Tomato Toasts and the Pork & Beef meatballs. It sounds wonderful to just sit at the bar, have some signature cocktails and go through the "Not Pasta" menu. There are a few wines by the glass and a few beers. Look for a five star review on the next visit. I just wanted more bread.

We were a party of 5 co-workers on business travel- they gave us the large table up front by the window. Loved the 'newspaper' menus. Small menu but many good options. We all enjoyed their signature appetizer- white bean dip on sourdough. Cocktails were fantastic- I had the limoncello spritz. We all prefer and enjoyed pasta- but only the top two pasta options on the menu are 'fresh' pasta if that matters to you. The bolognese dish was fantastic. We were too full for dessert. Service was excellent.

Is it ok if I give this place 10 stars?!!! OMGeee, they so deserve it! We were shocked to find out that they had a "lunch special" upon arrival. Basically you pick two out of three categories, drinks and beer, salads and main pasta dish for $20!!! Can you believe that?!! So we picked our salad, I picked the kale which was absolutely fantastic and yummy, my in-laws the Cesar and the hubs picked the third option. We then assumed that our pasta dish was going to be a "lunch" portion which we were all wrong. The bolognese was superb, felt like all day cooked, the vodka sauce was to die for, again rich and creamy. The kicker was the pesto sauced pasta, oh my word, I could have jumped in my bowl and swam around in it. What a wonderful meal! Peroni was nice and cold, vesper was delicious and the wine recommendation was again on point. Our server/cocktail mixer/greeter was so friendly and genuinely nice! The restaurant itself was simple yet sophisticated with fresh colors and clean lines. Wish I lived here so I could visit when ever I wanted. Excellent!

I really wish I remembered the drink I had the first time around, what I do remember is that it was really good. The drink I had recently was the Don Diego de La Ve & it's something I'd get again + would be my usual. Anything tequila, it's automatic (rum is right there at a very close 2nd) when it comes to an alcohol beverage + cocktail. Has addition of ancho reyes, a chile liqueur, that's super subtle in the drink along with lemon lime & agave. My homie looked at my drink & said that's something he should've ordered. *Side Note* I took a look at the menu & I'm convinced I had the Cousin Eddie (when I first visited this place). As I stated that rum is a close 2nd to tequila & the Cousin Eddie has Bumbu (rum) that I already enjoy on its own.

Much like Ava June, everything is a little funky here--not in a bad way, just different and unique. We started with cocktails; she had her usual Old Fashioned, but ordered it as a "normal", with Makers Mark, I had a glass of chardonnay (subtotal $28). She put her Makers Mark Old Fashioned near the top of the best in town ($2 extra for Makers??). We frequently split meals, so decided to share a Little Gems salad, which was VERY good. There are only a few salads in town that I like as it's just not my thing, but this one was super tasty. For our pizza we went with the limited edition Cubano as I love a good Cuban sandwich and have a tomato allergy. They did a good job of converting a sandwich to a pizza, though I thought the toppings were a little sparse for $22. I would have preferred that the pickles have been chopped into something smaller than the thick slices it came with (so it LOOKED beautiful). The best part for me is that they offer a fresh-made GLUTEN-FREE rosemary dough!!!! It was absolutely THE BEST gluten-free crust I've ever experienced hands down. My wife said that she would order it even though it's g-f. The vibe was just good, pretty crowded with a mix of generations. The space is fairly small and tight, so be prepared for the possibility of sharing a table. So if you followed the math above (which should be easy if you knew me!) it was $65 plus tax and tip, so $100 for a pizza and salad dinner.... Would I go back?? I wouldn't rule it out given the fantastic gluten-free crust, but would likely consider somewhere else that I consider a better value before beating a path back to Lofi.

After waiting well past the quoted time, we continued to sit and wait with no update. At 48 minutes after placing the order, I finally called again. We were put on hold for several minutes, then told they'd bring it right out. When the food finally came, the explanation was vague, something about the takeout staff shifting to another task, which only made me wonder how long the food had actually been sitting there. The takeaway here: if your pickup time has passed, don't assume they're still working on it, call and check. Being overly patient may just mean you end up bringing home cold food. Disappointing experience, especially given the price and the simple expectation of timely pickup service.
