Jeff G is right johnny and his workers are thieves. His workers move stuff and when you are not paying attention. He will take whats valuable and use moving as a distraction as he scopes out what you have. Do your self a favor and use a reliable company. He totally ripped my girl friend off. Does not respond to texts acts like he doesn't know whats going. I have proof via text message he doesn't reply. And never pay him cash to do a job because he will take the money not do the job and says who is this? Really. If you like getting ripped off and over paying for a crappy moving job then see for yourself. He basically strong arms people for there valuables and your money. He tries to intimidate people. What he doesn't know is that I have video footage of him stealing my personal belongings. Hpd will be looking into this. And I pray that the law will charge him for theft and put him out of business. I would highly advise installing cameras leaving valuables out so he and his workers can get caught stealing. This is a huge problem and he and his company can finally get put out of business. Also he reads these and thinks the reviews are funny beacuse he is indeed a thief. Gonna be really funny when you get a call from the HPD. Got the video of you walking out moron. read more

My experience with Johnny The Mover was simply fantastic. Johnny and the team helped us move our office to a temporally location. I recommend Johnny The Mover for the following reasons. 1. Johnny beat all the competing estimates I received. 2. Johnny was most flexible with the time of the move with short notice. 3. Johnny can move pricey medical equipments that can cost as much as BMW 5 series per pop. He made sure he moved those items himself. 4. Additional services we requested that were associated with completing the move, such as taking down any wall mounted items were done with a response, "Yes, we can do that for you!" and a smile. :) 5. Johnny works one section/room at a time and ask to check if the job is 100% done with the particular section/room. Once that's done, he informs the team and they move on quickly to the next. They work very efficiently. 6. Lastly, after the truck is loaded with the last item, Johnny comes back for items that might have been missed. There were good amount of things we missed. He took all the items including a heavy duty construction bag full of trash. 7. Johnny finished move on time. I cannot praise Johnny The Mover enough. Moving is very stressful, at least to me, and Johnny took all the stress away. read more

Last month I chose Johnny The Mover to transport the contents of my apartment from Waialua to Pearl City, as they had been recommended to me by two friends who's opinions I knew to be reliable. Logan answered my queries and I booked them for the move. In my dealings with him, he was always extremely nice, polite, had a lovely manner about him and spoke beautifully. On the day, 3 guys arrived (on time) namely, Avery, Brandon and Kimo. Not only were they very nice and extremely efficient, they were super strong - and so FAST!!! I was most impressed!! It was perfectly clear from the get-go that these guys knew exactly what they were doing! Efficiency and Proficiency prevailed throughout the procedure and not only did the move go smoothly, everything was in tact on arrival! I would highly recommend them to anyone unsure of who to choose for a move. They were professional, very pleasant and actually, all of them, including Logan, were quite delightful! Might I also add that they were affordable! We may decide to move again next year - and if we do, Johnny The Mover will be my first and only choice - and the same guys - without a doubt! They were simply fantastic! Mrs. S, Taylor - Pearl City read more

I recently hired Malama Moving Company for my move, and I am beyond impressed with their service! From the very beginning, their professionalism and attention to detail stood out. The team was punctual, courteous, and incredibly efficient. They handled all of my belongings with care, ensuring everything was securely packed and transported without a single scratch or dent. What really set Malama Moving Company apart was their exceptional customer service. They communicated clearly throughout the entire process, addressing any concerns I had and providing helpful tips to make the move smoother. The movers were friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, making what is usually a stressful experience remarkably stress-free. I also appreciated their transparent pricing with no hidden fees. The final cost was exactly what was quoted, and it was worth every penny for the peace of mind and quality service they provided. If you're looking for a reliable, professional, and friendly moving company, I highly recommend Malama Moving Company. They truly embody the spirit of "malama" (to take care), and I couldn't be happier with my experience! 5 stars all the way! read more

Very highly recommended on all counts -- price, professionalism, experience. Had to move from a building with a driveway that would not allow for vehicles over 6'6", thus most movers show up with the van at the bottom of the hill and a truck to shuttle and that was how I initially moved in, via three movers, a truck and a van and a lot of time on the phone by the head mover to get advice from the owner during the course of the move. It was costly and I was disappointed that there was damage to furniture. The move by Johnny The Mover was handled by courteous dispatchers, two experienced movers who were wicked strong (moved furniture without a shuttle truck) and knew how maneuver the furniture, professionally wrapped and packed and all at less than my prior move. This was my second time using Johnny The Mover, and the first time was also impressive, and those guys packed and moved my furniture from my condo, picked up more furniture at my realtor's home, and then efficiently moved everything into storage for me. Really lucked out using Johnny the Mover! read more

If you're looking for a moving company that truly cares about your belongings and makes the entire process stress-free, I cannot recommend Malama Movers enough! Kirk, Joe, and Jwin were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They handled everything with professionalism, kindness, and positive attitudes the entire time. No matter how heavy or challenging the job was, they did it all with smiles on their faces. What stood out most was how careful and courteous they were with all of my belongings. They treated my furniture and boxes like they were their own, which gave me so much peace of mind during a stressful move. They were efficient, hardworking, respectful, and genuinely pleasant to be around. It's rare to find a company with a team this dependable and customer-focused. If you want movers who show up on time, work hard, treat your things with care, and actually make moving a positive experience, book with Malama Movers -- and ask for Kirk, Joe, and Jwin if you can! I'll absolutely be recommending them to everyone I know. read more

I highly recommend Johnny The Mover without reservations. I called on Friday, they delivered my furniture on Saturday! The two gentlemen who delivered my sofa and two over-sized chairs were efficient, careful, and super courteous. Last time I moved a couch it took us 2 hours to get it up the stairs... these two guys were excellent problem solvers, which tells me they are well-trained and have plenty of experience. They had my sofa up two flights of narrow stairs within 15 minutes! No injury to themselves or the furniture or stair case! I have never encountered such great service with movers before. Johnny the Mover has rates that will work with my slim budget - less than half the cost of store delivery and much much faster. I don't have a car so i am always looking for good help. Johnny The Mover is reliable and trustworthy. I will tell all my friends about your company and I will surely call you again when the need arises. Your service is truly a blessing. May God prosper you & your team and keep you in every way! read more

Getting a quote and scheduling an appointment through Jayne was fast and efficient. Response time was within 24 hours of my email. She listed the prices depending on how many hours the move was going to take, and the fees associated with it. I think for a two hour move and the amount we had, the pricing is reasonable. On the day of the move, the truck arrived on time, and they were ready to work. I estimated 2 hours, and the movers did it just under the 2 hour mark. Kona, Isaiah, and Huch were also fast, efficient, and polite. They handled all items with care, and were careful not to scratch anything. They carefully maneuvered around both homes to be sure not to damage any walls, doors, and doorways. I just scheduled Malama Moving for junk removal, and I will definitely use them again for personal or job projects in the future. I highly recommend using this company for your move! Great job Malama Moving Co.! Sincerely, Happy Customer read more

I am so happy that we hired Johnny the Mover. The crew that came to our house was fantastic - on time, hard workers, careful, polite, patient, gentlemen- just a great group of guys. They worked from the moment they got out of the truck until the move was completed. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a move that is a stress-free as it can be. I told them that they made moving almost a pleasure and it was very true of these 3 fellows. (We had used the company once before about 3-1/2 yr. ago and they were terrific then, too.) They are definitely the company that I will call again next time I need moving services. My advice to anyone who is moving - call Johnny the Mover. You won't be disappointed. The price is fair and the guys certainly earn every dollar of it. We are so happy with the results. MAHALO TO THE CREW AND TO JOHNNY FOR HAVING A WELL-RUN COMPANY WITH PLEASANT EMPLOYEES. (P.S. THE DISPATCHER WAS VERY HELPFUL, TOO. read more

I used johnny the movers in the past . The service is good. I needed help on short notice to bring my furniture back into my house and also set up three beds up stairs. They arrived on time and on arrival I was pleased to see three clean cut movers who were well groomed, courteous and not intimidating. They introduced them selves as Avery, kona and nick. I gave them a walk through of what I needed to be done, they were very attentive of my needs and even knowledgeable of home repairs I was attempting to do my self. I was pleasantly surprised when they offered to help me as well .They worked in a timely manner meticulously unwrapping my items one by one and placing them where I told them to. They swept the floors and took away the rubbish. I felt safe leaving them to finish without my supervision when I went to home depot to purchase items I needed. Thank you, I will definitely ask for these guys again for all my moving needs. read more

We just moved into our new condo, and I have to say... these movers were amazing! They showed up right on time, got straight to work, and had everything packed, wrapped, and moved in record time. They handled our two-bedroom move into a three-bedroom condo in just two hours... seriously impressive! They wrapped our TVs, protected our furniture, and even went the extra mile by rolling out carpet and taping the walls and doors in our new place to make sure nothing got scratched or damaged. That level of attention to detail is rare, and it really showed how much they cared about doing the job right. Everyone on the crew was so friendly, professional, and efficient. They worked quickly but carefully and you could tell they knew exactly what they were doing. I was beyond pleased with the entire experience and can't recommend them enough. It was less than a month before my moving date and I was searching for the best, trustworthy, and most affordable movers so I gave Johnny The Mover a call. I coordinated with Vincent, who got me set up and scheduled with my moving. The day of my move I was kindly greeted by Kona, Ryan, Kainoa, and Ken. I recommend you request this crew because you could tell they have experience with moving. They were fast and efficient. They took the extra effort to wrap my glass table to keep it safe during the move. It was a minimum of two hours and that's all they needed to move out a fully packed two bedroom condo. Even with the time constraints of having two different elevator reservations from different condos. I am very satisfied with their services and would definitely recommend this company. Thank you Vince, Kona, Ryan, Kainoa and Ken. Keep up the amazing work! read more

They did a fantastic job getting me moved to my new place. I was hesitant to hire movers since moving can get quite costly. From the first phone call to the final settling of the bill, Johhny the Mover put all my worries to rest. It was quick and simple getting a quote and then setting up an appointment. When moving day came they were punctual and got to work right away. Before i knew it, they had everything loaded up quickly and carefully. They had no trouble finding the new place and getting everything unloaded. They communicated well, asking where i wanted things put. I had them drop everything in the living room but I appreciated that they asked and were willing to have things placed and set up if i had needed it. I would not hesitate to use their service again or to recommend them to my friends and family. Great job guys. Kona, Jk and Brandy. read more

I have never had a move that was not a huge headache and backache. Until i used Johnny The Mover. His crew were fast, professional and believe it or not very funny and sociable. They put me at ease by padding and shrink wrapping all my wooden furniture and glass objects for a low fee of only 20$ all my things were scratch proof. Johnny also gave me 20 free box's for packing which helped out alot. Plus on top of that his movers actually finish a hour early then Johnny's estimated so I gave that hour of money to the crew as a tip and boy they deserved it, the place i moved to was a six floor climb up elevator was broken (the movers didn't even complain "we eat stairs for breakfast" they said with a big smile). I have never had a moving experience that was a pleasure until Johnny The Mover and his crew. You won't be disappointed. read more

Moving is a challenge. Selecting the right movers to help, in addition to the challenges going on in the world today can be stressful, but it does not have to be, especially with guys like Johnny The Mover. I highly recommend Johnny The Mover as the first option for anyone looking to make a residential move in Hawaii. I moved from a three story townhome on Oahu to a two story house. Ati, Koa, and Teddy arrived early that morning and handled the move with care . They were efficient, honest, and responsible. The timeframe scheduled for the move was exactly the time it took to complete the move. There were no hidden cost and no damage to my furniture. I truly appreciated these guys. I highly recommend Johnny The Mover. I would not even consider other movers for a residential move. You guys are the best! Jennifer E. read more

What can I say.. these 3 guys did an amazing job on moving my stuff. Very professional, and on time!! Actually, they showed up a little bit early! They plastic wrapped all my big stuff and nothing was scratched or damaged during the move. I would definitely suggest Jonny The Mover to anybody! Extremely reasonably priced and very fast at their job. The only thing that I did not research, and totally my fault, is that they are MOVERS. Not packers/movers. So they were a little bit shocked that I had stuff "ready to be packed up", and not ready to be moved. But they had extra boxes and I packed up most of what I could, as they loaded up the truck with my stuff that was ready to be moved. Totally my fault, but I still tipped them at the end for their professionalism and working with me on getting my stuff moved :-) read more

As a new company, Island Windows & Doors has to be very selective about who we use for various services to make sure we're getting all the value we can get for every dollar spent. Well, in the case of using Johnny the Mover, we are getting wayyyyy more value than what we're paying for, and we really appreciate it! Every month we have a new container of windows coming in, and every month we turn to JTM to make sure that our products get delivered to our customers undamaged and on time for installation. Every time they've come thru with flying colors, even though we've had to change dates with short notice or add another destination. And they're pricing keeps them consistently affordable, which is a bonus for us! As long as we need to have someone to move our windows, we'll be using Johnny the Mover! read more

I had such a great experience with Johnny the Mover from start to finish. I initially requested a quote via Yelp and they got back to me quickly but I still wanted to shop around. After getting quotes and speaking with a few other companies, I decided to call Johnny the Mover. I booked through Logan who was super friendly and helpful. I ended up having to move my scheduled date and spoke with Logan again who was understanding and it was so easy, too easy, not used things being that smooth. When it came to moving day, they arrived on time, in fact early, didn't call to ask for directions or instructions and got RIGHT to moving. They were extremely efficient. Got me into my new unit quickly and seamlessly. I would 100% recommend Johnny The Mover to anyone. Good price, great service! Thank you! read more

I highly recommend AL and MANA from this company!!! They were on time, took careful care of our furniture as if it were their own, worked efficiently, friendly, hardworking, patient and strong! We had a lot of furniture and boxes, and the job should of had 4 guys instead of just 2. But they did it with just the two of them! Plus AL packed our stuff so perfectly...we only needed one load! They even took items that couldn't fit in my new place to another location to store. My bed and couch couldn't fit in our new place..and they were nice enough to try and then take it to another place temporarily. In the future we will use this company, and hopefully we will get AL and MANA again! I told both AL and MANA...I will be moving again soon so be better be ready to move our stuff again! read more
