I am recommending this firm to everybody I know. We had an old sectional bought about 12 years ago that was looking really dirty and so we went to Inspiration (where we had bought the sofa; they no longer carry the line) for a new one and everything we saw was not comfortable, or the wrong size, etc., etc., so in desperation, I googled furniture cleaning and came up with this name and we called and two days later the sectional looks like new! They also do carpet cleaning, so i shall probably be calling them in for that. Excellent service!! I needed carpet cleaning to remove pet odor. It was time sensitive. While many cleaning companies flat out said they were booked, Malama Aina Chem-Dry responded with the minimum wait. He explained how the process worked (eg.,the smell will get worse after treatment for a few days and then gradually disappear) and they they would come back to apply solution if the odor persisted. It took over a week but the smell was gone! The carpet is clean and fresh. I am so happy. read more

I had a great experience with Malama Aina Chem Dry. Shawn came to clean my couch and was on time, very pleasant, and helpful. I couldn't get a smell out of the corner of the couch. Shawn worked diligently and told me if the smell wasn't gone in a few days, the company would guarantee their cleaning and be back till the smell disappeared. (I felt he was doing such a great job, I had him do my living room rug too.) Well, the smell was still there and I called to tell them. With no hesitation they were back to work on getting that smell out. This time, Keilii (the owner) was with Shawn and they worked it! The smell was gone and I am very pleased with what they did. I'm not sure of their quality of service but I have tried NUMEROUS times to get a quote or speak to someone. I have sent multiple text messages to the number provided, have called multiple times and left multiple voicemails as well as submitting multiple quotes through their online website. I have not recieved any emails, call backs or any type of response whatsoever. Idk if theres something wrong with the system or what but I feel like it shouldn't be that difficult to get ahold of someone for a quote, especially when you've utilized all your resources. I put out 5 calls for quotes with different carpet cleaners and they got back to me within an hour...on a Sunday. Not only did he end up being slightly less expensive he made it clear that they would fit me into their schedule the next day even if it required working after normal hours at no extra charge. You can't find that kind of customer service anymore and I was deeply impressed. They called about 4 hours before I was expecting them to let me know some time had become available and if I was up to it they could come out sooner. About an hour later they showed up, walked the spaces I wanted cleaned, asked me about certain stains that concerned me and pointed out a few others I hadn't noticed (my kids were manufacturing slime at one point....I didn't know the extent for awhile) I was then Re quoted a fair price before the work began and after 2 hours they were done and my carpets looked great. Some of the tougher stains didn't come out but you had to get close to notice and some of the areas where the carpet was worn and matted and dirty still looked worn and matted (but clean). We've been at our home for 8 years now and had not professionally cleaned our light brown low plush carpet since. There are 5 of us which includes our 2 teenagers and our baby tween. We knew someday soon we would need to have our carpet cleaned but we kept putting it off. Now with mainland in-laws coming over for the Thanksgiving holidays I needed to act fast. I didn't have time to look for a reputable company much less get a quote. But it just so happened that my office carpet was recently cleaned and that made me realize that this company did a really good job (thoroughly cleaned multi shades of blue low pile carpet) and I should just hire them. So I went online and Kelii called me with info. He came over to do a quote (6 partly furnished rooms on a 2 level home with stairs) and an appointment was made right then and there. They vacuumed and did their magic. They did their best on the stains and we now have carpet treated with a stain protector. Took at least 3 hours to dry....but there's life in my carpet again.
