By the time my future in-laws said they were coming to visit, my lady and I had lived in our apartment for over 2 years. That was more than enough time for the carpets to become dull, stained, with all sorts of dirt and crap trapped in the fibers. I procrastinated and didn't start calling around until a week before the in-laws were due to arrive. The first place I called quoted me something like $180 and they were booked. I saw Phoenix Cleaning Systems on Yelp! and decided to give them a try, due to overwhelmingly good (but few) ratings, and they were based nearby. Luckily for me, I was able to get an appointment on my desired day. Brook was in contact with me via text. He was coming to me from somewhere far on the westside and got stuck in some traffic, but he let me know, and I didn't have anything planned for the day so it was fine. He was very apologetic when he arrived and promptly got to work. Seeing what was extracted from my carpet made me reflect on how many times I fell asleep on the floor... Brook did an AMAZING job today! I was in need of a carpet cleaning for a reasonable price, and an appointment as soon as possible. I called around all Saturday and decided on Phoenix Cleaning Systems since it was about $100 for my 1-bedroom apartment (bedroom, living room/dining room combo) and he could come the next day. Brook showed up a few minutes early (perfect) and he checked out the damage. There were some heavy black stains, which he said was caused when the carpet is wet and the grime from the road and cars come in. He was able to get everything spotless, and did not charge me extra for the stains, like other companies do. During the cleaning, I decided to stay and asked him a bunch of random questions about carpet cleaning and upholstery, which he was knowledgeable about and happy to discuss. He was detail-oriented (sucked up the gecko droppings in the edges and went back to treat stains) and respectful. My neighbor came by and asked him to look at her carpet too. Our nearly new dryer was not doing its job in one simple cycle. Googled and found Phoenix Cleaning Systems; like the reviews I read. Brook showed up a few minutes early and was very personable and professional. He went straight to work beginning with the roof vent then climbed into a tight spot to clean out the back of the dryer.
