Tried another delivery. This time everything came as ordered on time, piping hot and tasty. Food is a bit on the salty side but delivery foods are usually salty for me so probably ok for most people. Don't go crazy on the spice level. I went medium(5/10) and was spicier than I expected(i enjoyed it!). read more

Food was soo good & Hannah was super sweet and recommended awesome dishes and drinks!

Food is good, the noodles is fresh made. Drinks are awesome. My friends and I are so joyful. Service is great. read more

Ordered and waited 50 minutes for food. Waitress and manager didn't seem to care. No apologies were given. No coupons were offered to make up for an almost hour wait. read more

Came here with my husband at lunch on a Saturday date and both the food and the service were absolutely AMAZING! Our server, Grace K, was super sweet, and she knew so much about the menu that she directed my husband to their lamb shank. That's likely his new favorite item! And my Pad Se Ew was spectacular! Flavorful, fresh, hot! I cannot recommend this Malai enough! We'll be repeat customers for that deliciousness and for our great personnel for sure! read more

OMG, OMG. OMG. Yesterday, I wrote a review regarding a meal I had in a Malai location. Unfortunately, the review showed up on the incorrect location. That review WAS NOT intentioned for the Luther Lane location. Please excuse my grievous error. Be assured, based on my experience with the Luther Lane restaurant, you will be treated with a wonderful Vietnamese meal as well as all the courtesies you would expect from a great eatety. read more

Why did I wait so long to try this place out? We went for lunch and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The ingredients are fresh and herbaceous. Nice portion sizes and very friendly service. read more

Went with another couple. Crab dip was very tasty with a lot of crab. Shrimp rolls were very fresh. Pad Ke Maw (drunken noodles) are stellar with flavors on point. Lemongrass chicken delectable with plenty of flavorful chicken. Nice clean atmosphere and fire on the enclosed patio to keep us warm. Drinks are a bit pricey. Service was perfect. We will return. read more

The service, the atmosphere is very comfortable, food was excellent and let's one enjoy a delectable meal.

Love the food, the service is great and the staff is always friendly! We have dined in a few times and ordered delivery as well. Food is always fresh and hot when it arrived! read more

Friendly staff, was seated quickly for lunch at Noon. Staff check up often. Ordered Glass noodles with Shrimp; very good, others ordered the shrimp chopped salad and drunken noodles. All said the flavor was delicious. read more

AMAZING food and service - can't wait to go back...I want to try EVERYTHING!!! I couldn't leave without taking home some of their proprietary tea blend. read more

Food and service was fantastic! I will definitely be going back when I'm in town :) highly recommend!

Wonderful ambiance, terrific service and fantastic food. They also have their own beer on tap. I had the Thai PA which paired perfectly with the Spicy Chicken Basil Fried Rice I had. I ate at the bar on a Friday at 6 pm and there was a decent crowd there, but the bartender handled our service very well and was very informative about menu items and friendly. She brought out a complementary sticky rice appetizer while I looked at the menu. After I ordered, the food was out to me very quickly and was hot and fresh and very tasty. I ordered it "medium" spicy and it was perfect. Highly recommend stopping in here. read more

Malai kitchen is one of my favorite parts of visiting Dallas and has been for years. Love their brunch and the Thai Eggs Benedict are amazing. Vietnamese coffee is wonderful and the service and atmosphere is always spot on. Can you tell I'm a big fan? read more

Always love everything from here! Would recommend the noodle bowls and spring rolls! Great spot for dine in our take out.

Amazing food and servers. We had a server who knew what to recommend on the menu and seemed to look like she enjoyed working there.

It's pretty good the sticky rice is awesome and the desserts too. I had tuna spring rolls that came with a total of probably one piece of sushi worth of fish in the whole meal... the fried rice is super spicy but good. spicy edamame is just regular edmame with a splash of seasoning. definitely would've given more stars if they didn't skimp so much on the food you guys have a great concept and some good stuff but whoever's preparing the food should do it correctly. read more

Excellent restaurant. The decor is very nice and the service was excellent. My wife enjoyed the chicken hot pot with red curry and my drunken noodles were excellent. We will return read more

I had the Monday lunch special - Saigon chicken, on Monday and it was DELICIOUS. I haven't stopped thinking about it since I just had to give my thoughts. The past couple of times I've been always great service read more

Although I really enjoyed the standard lunch/dinner fair at Malai, brunch was unfortunately underwhelming. Concept was great - it just didn't feel like the flavors came all the way through. Definitely head over if you are just looking for solid drunken noodles and curry read more

I ordered take-out from Malai, I got pineapple fried rice because it's my favorite and was really looking forward to the pineapple because it's my favorite. I get back to my office and am ready to dig in when I see that there is zero pineapple in my pineapple fried rice... how do you forget the main ingredient?? The manager offered my solutions that made no sense, and I suggested that he leave my name at the front desk so I could get my next meal comped and he said no, that I would have to order another item today. What?! I was on my lunch break which is only an hour long and I had already wasted 15 minutes getting my food which I explained to him. read more

Wonderful food, wonderful service, and great atmosphere. This is a great place to eat.

Had dinner last night and wife and i really enjoyed it. Five stars for ambiance, food and service. If Hillstone opened a Thai restaurant this would be it. That's high praise. Started with coconut curry soup with chicken, drunken noodles with shrimp and cucumber salad for main course. EXCELLENT! Hope it doesnt get too busy like Hillstone!!! read more

Good customer service, we got wings for our appetizer and was super good. I ordered some fried rice and it wasn't the best. The vibe was nice, I would come back and order something different. read more

Great food! The staff was friendly and service was very fast. Portions were large and sharable.

Just like the West Village location, the food at this restaurant never disappoint us! My husband fell in love w sugar cane tasty drink to start and had a curry w beef tenderloin. I had a glass of unsweetened peach ginger tea w lemongrass chicken vermicelli salad (like Bun Cha?). Of course, a welcome appetizer was a little bundle of steamed rice cake (sweet rice) w some kind of fantastic eggplant dip. I almost asked for the recipe!!! The icing of the cake was a super attentive waitress!!! How could I go eat in elsewhere? Now I know they have a daily lunch special of $10, I'd love to be a regular of this restaurant!!! If you haven't been there you're missing out. There are many Thai and Vietnamese restaurants in DFW, but this is one of my best and they're very clean/stylish. Glad you guys moved to closer to my home. read more

Wasn't expecting to like it so much! Great food, responsive and considerate waitress. Highly recommend.

The service is great and location is perfect. The food, however, is very disappointing. It was borderline the blandest Thai food I have ever had. I would have only given it two stars if it wasn't for the fantastic server we had. read more

I wish I could rate this higher than 5 stars. Malai has been my favorite restaurant for years, so to say I was thrilled when they opened their Preston Center location would be a tremendous understatement. If you've never been, I would recommend the Chicken Pad Thai (I get mine mild with no bean sprouts), and the Malai Sampler is a great way to try their best appetizers. They also have some of the best mixed drinks in the area, the Tropic Thai is not featured on the menu but the bartender was so kind and made it for us anyway! read more

The ahi tuna tartare was divine! Our server, Omar, was amazing. Quick and fast service. Highly recommend.

First time here. We had the vege samosa, veg sweet and sour soup, tea salad and veg red curry. It was enjoyable, light yet fillling. Tea salad was too spicy for my wife even though we asked for everything to be mild but enjoyed the heat so goodie for me. read more
