I highly recommend this business! Whenever I need to get a dress hemmed, this is my go to place. Paula usually services me when I come in. She's efficient and very professional. For the initial fitting, you go into the fitting rooms then the staff works with you to get the right fit. Then when you pick up your order, the staff asks you to try on your clothes before you leave to assure it's the perfect fit. I'm always satisfied with the fit before I leave! Of all the times I've come to get my dresses hemmed, I've never had to ask them to make changes. The turn around time is fast! It takes around 2-3 business days for a formal dress to be hemmed. They're usually busy when I come in but you can be in and out of there within 10-15 minutes for your initial consultation and less than 10 minutes for your pick up. Their prices are reasonable compared to other businesses I've been to and they will alter any fabric! I've gone to other businesses and have been turned away because they told me that the fabric would get ruined if it were to be hemmed. Make It Fit is true to their name. I love this place for alterations!! I do prefer this location over their sister location in Santa Ana. So far I have taken jeans, khakis, and a Betsy Johnson rain coat. The pants hems are rolled and finished on the inside. So if you are like me and cut your pants longer to wear with heels and cuff them when you wear flats, you are not looking at an ugly overlocked edge on the inside of your pants. It's a nice clean look so your pants don't look altered. The Betsy Johnson rain coat...you cannot even tell the sleeves were ever shortened. I need to have all of my pants shortened, so I will be bringing them to Make It Fit! read more

I brought in some flare jeans that I wanted to make skinnier and they did a great job on the jeans. I'm happy with them. And they work very fast which is also a plus. I dropped the jeans off on Thursday and picked them up on Saturday. I also really like the look of the place and the dressing rooms are very cute. My only issue was the customer service. They weren't very friendly and they don't even acknowledge when you walk in. I understand you are busy but at least say "I'll be right with you" or something so I won't have to stand their awkwardly. I don't know why some ppl experienced bad reviews. My sister had went to another seam tress and ordered a dress because she was getting married. The place she went to, totally screwed it up. After I suggested this place, they redesigned the dress even better. To top it off I had a bridesmaid dress that was too small for me that I needed to fit me. They took material from the dress itself and expanded the chest line area. We couldn't of been more pleased :) 5 stars all the way! Yes, I do agree that when picking up a coat, jacket, (non related dress item) it would be nice if they told you to go try it on to make sure it fit well. Other than that I am good. read more

I just got done reviewing a dry cleaners closer to my home with 1 star and it made me realize how much I wish I lived closer to Make it fit. I've only used this place once but it was awesome, friendly, and very prompt service. I had alterations on both pants and jacket for a custom suit. I only had 3 days and was very worried about timing. They got it done on time and fit and looked GREAT!!! Not to mention prices are good and no extra charges for asking to be done quicker than usual.
