I think she's fine for simple alterations, but I wouldn't recommend this place for dresses. I brought in my bridesmaid dress to get altered and wasn't fully satisfied with the result. She fixed it a second time after I explained my concerns, but I still didn't like how it turned out. She kept saying "it's fine," so I ended up going to another alterations place. I also had to pay additional money for the second alteration, and overall the cost ended up being more than the price of the bridesmaid dress itself. For the quality of work, I think she charges too much. There's street parking, and if that's full, there's additional parking in the back. read more

She had also altered the width of the sleeve for me as well to make the sleeves fit better on me. I've been coming here for about 3-4 years. She does excellent work and quick turnaround time. I had a jacket that had sleeves way too long and she took it in, and even adjusted the shoulders so it looked like it was tailored that way. That's bespoke quality workmanship!! Today I had 5 work pants that was too long. It is a simple hem and I had no idea how much it would be. After trying on for a proper fit, she said $25 please. Whoa!! I assumed hems would be $7 or so, and had $40 already to give. It's only $5 a hem?! Amazing... I couldn't do that myself for that price in terms of labor and time. The turnaround time for the 5 pants was 3 business days but I told her that I would get them Friday, giving her 6 business days. She was elated. One more thing: there's parking in the back!
