I had a small cushion that needed the zipper replaced. The turn around time was roughly 3 days. They did not have the zipper I needed in stock so it's best to call ahead if a zipper replacement is what you need. I ordered the zipper from Amazon which I was instructed to do from the front desk clerk and returned to have it installed. They charged me $12.00 which seemed very reasonable. Ramy did an incredible job on 3 of my wedding dresses (welcome night, wedding dress and second look dress). He was so quick at turning them all around, I took my wedding dress months in advance and he had it done in 2 weeks leaving ample time for additional fittings. His pricing is also amazing and he does quality work. The communication was also great, I got text updates when my items were ready. I have taken bridesmaid dresses for alterations and they always do a great job and service is quick.

Don't take a suit in for alterations here maybe they are ok with other stuff but not suits. Altered the length of a sleeve for me but DIDN'T CUT THE LINING so the lining would literally visibly fall out the sleeve. See image! SEWED THE END OF THE SLEEVE SHUT TOO ON A SLEEVE WITH OPENABLE BUTTONS! Stitching looks terrible. Sleeve also wasn't even either like how do you mess up in every way??? 'Master Tailor" must have had the day off or something what a joke!! Now I have to pay double to get an actual tailor to see if they can fix this monstrosity very cool thanks Custom Cuts! read more

I'm so so disappointed. I had a tear in one of my dresses so I had my fiancé bring it here to be repaired. When I got home today and noticed how the repair was executed, I was mortified. I requested one cashmere scarf to be dry cleaned and one cashmere sweatshirt to stitch a hole, and one trouser to be hemmed. I immediately noticed that they hung my cashmere sweatshirt. Cashmeres are delicate and you shouldn't hang them because it'll cause them to stretch. The shoulders have stretched. They also left two holes in my cashmere scarf. The trouser was hemmed to the length I requested and the finish wasn't great. I see the stitches. I don't recommend this place. read more

I can not say enough positive things about Rami and his team. I brought this dress in from David's bridal, wanting to have several inches taken off the bottom, straps put in, and drop sleeves put in from the extra fabric that was cut off the bottom. The dress was 3 layers with a horse hair lining at the bottom that was moved up with the alteration so there's would lose its form! Other places quoted me over $500, which was almost the price of the dress. Rami's prices were incredibly reasonable with the alterations being about half of the price others quoted me. He took his time with me and the dress with about 2/3 appointments until it was ready to take home. The quality of his craftsmanship is unmatched with each cut and stitch being perfect. The dress fit like a glove after the alterations and I will forever be going to Rami for alterations and dry cleaning. read more

Had a great experience for dry cleaning! I gave them a call to ask about how long it would take to have four dresses dry cleaned. They gave me an estimate and let me know that I could drop them off anytime during their operating hours. They gave me an accurate estimate of the cost so I knew exactly what to expect given that I had different types of dresses to dry clean. When I came to pick up my items they were all ready to go and everything was handled with care. I felt the pricing was fair and the service was great! I have been coming here for about two years with the occasional simple request like fixing a zipper and hemming a dress. I live far away so to save me a drive I trusted a friend to take in a dress. Rami absolutely saved the day when I had an emergency come up with my wedding dress alterations. I first went to Rami just to get a second opinion and some advice about how to handle a situation with another seamstress I had hired to make alterations on my wedding gown. Rami was so kind, understood my distress (as my wedding was only 4 weeks away), and talked me through it. I followed his advice and after the other place showed me they were not able to offer any solutions to the issues they had created, I got a partial refund and booked it over to Custom Cuts & Tailoring the next day (now 3 weeks out from the wedding). Rami graciously agreed to work on my dress despite the short timeline and assured me he would have no problem restoring my gown to its original design. In my photos you will see: 1. The dress as it looked when I first purchased it (nearly perfect fit, just needing slight alterations). 2. After appointments at the other seamstress - NOT Rami's work - they folded the back down so it no longer had the pretty V shape. This also compromised how the dress felt, the straps kept falling off my shoulders, and I had no security in the front with gaps in the chest area. If you look closely, the sides also bunched up weirdly. 3. Rami's staff worked on my dress, restored the V shape, made the dress fit securely, fixed the straps to the right length without cutting into my shoulders, and had everything laying smooth down my waist. No more bunching!! What the other place told me was not possible, Rami had fixed in one week. I was able to take it home next appointment. Rami's customer service and attention to detail was everything. The price was very reasonable. He saved my dress and I felt beautiful all day on my wedding day. My only regret was not finding this amazing tailoring shop in the first place!! read more
