I'm so happy they opened in Danville! It was great to try these staples from croissants to baguettes. The croissants were so buttery and flakey with great lamination and flavor. The Croque Monsieur was really good especially after you warm it up. The baguette was still warm from just getting out of the oven. It was so fresh and might be the best I've ever had. They also serve coffee and a wide variety of pastries as well. The atmosphere is perfect for gatherings with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to sit and enjoy. Their staff was very helpful explaining what everything was. Just note they don't accept cash. Card only. Their quality is on par with France itself. Reminds me of the ones I had in Paris! It's been six years since I stayed in Paris. Many trips to EU and the pastries are great. However, there's that small spot in my heart (and stomach) that just crave for a fresh flaky croissant. After readying through other bloggers recommendations, I took my son there on a Saturday morning. The line is long, but the fresh smell keeps you engaged. Staff inside are welcoming and helpful. They said whatever size you get it's 2-shots of espresso.... They don't know how to steam or pour milk or have any idea what they're doing or what comprises an espresso drink. Add a real barista. I want to give it a 4.5 star, but the service was so disappointing. I ordered $100 worth of croissants, pan au chocolat, almond croissants, and many more, but the worker would not put my order in a box. I asked the worker 2-3x for a box instead of paper bag because I was afraid the items would be crushed and flattened by the time I got home. Two ladies behind me in line were also trying to help me get box from the worker to no avail . He continued to refuse our requests. He said the boxes were for the pastry desserts and that he can fit more in the paper bags. Not his fault if this is what he was told to do. I'm soooo sad to report that my goodies were crushed and some flattened by the time I got home. I've waited for this day for a long time only to be greeted by crushed croissants, pan au chocolat, almond croissants in bits. I'm so sad and disappointed more than mad. I came here because I heard great things. I was not disappointed! My chocolate croissant was perfectly flakey and buttery. I also got a small little puff and one with cream in it. The sugar crystals on top made it even better. The cream was delightful. Since I knew there might be a line on a Sunday morning, I took a book to read while I waited. Service was great! I came here on a Sunday after church. It was packed with a line out the door. They have a large selection of pastries. I got a spinach and feta quiche and chocolate croissant. I usually wouldn't get two things but everything looked so good. I also got a cappuccino. Everything was excellent. There is outdoor seating although the day I came there were no seats left. Everything I tried was delicious, and was priced reasonably. I shouldn't have ordered the Breakfast Board all to myself but I did it anyway :) recos: pain au chocolat, baguette, royal, fraisier, flan vanille, fresh orange juice. Service: staff were all nice & pleasant, some were speaking French and it's just music to my ears. Ambiance: nice decor and interior, even down to the utensils. Lots of outdoor seating. Just be ready to park a bit far from the place, or street parking is available, but the area is such a nice neighborhood that you wouldn't mind walking. The baguette with ham, cheese and pickle is perfect ratio. I expected the croissant to be a little crunchier on the outside. The almond chocolate croissant was a bit of a mess and was over powered by too much chocolate. The eclairs were decent, the cream could be better. The orange juice was freshly squeezed. I asked the guy behind the counter if they had baguette with pate and he didn't know what that was. I had to explain what it was and my wife pointed out the liver spread in the fridge. My wife also asked the same guy if they had ham and cheese on a baguette. He pointed out to the melted ham and cheese sandwich. Then I looked over and pointed and asked for the ham, cheese and pickles in a baguette. Nice place, I'd go back for the baguettes. read more

I can't say enough positive things about this place. I really felt like I was in France. The sandwich (cheese and ham) was so yummy and tasted just like it would if I were in Paris. Recently started working in Danville and a friend of mine sent me a TikTok of the restaurant. I was already intrigued but after looking at their menu, what really reeled me in was the Curry Chicken sandwich they offered. I'm going in with the mindset that with it being $14.50, it's going be a great and flavorful sandwich! I am a big sandwich guy and I was really looking forward to getting my hands on it. I arrived today around 1pm lunch time and ordered it and they had it already made for the lunch rush I suppose and just the initial looks, it looked bland. The menu displayed outside and online didn't say what was on the sandwich but it's literally was just a cold sandwich with some yellow chicken, a chopped up hard boiled egg, and spring mix salad all on a roll. After my first bite I was severely disappointed. The bread was tough to the point of my jaw hurting, nothing about the sandwich tasted like a curry, and I bit into something crunchy and it was bits of eggshells. Needless to say, I will not be getting that again and the $14.50 could have went to a deli for a better and flavorful sandwich. read more

We came here twice and both times the service was horrible. Both time we had to wait 45 min just to get our coffee. I went to the barista a few times and each time they kept telling me theyvill bring it out. After 45 min I went back inside and they too me they can't find my order and they don know what happened.
