I placed a custom sugar cookie order on Sweet Vanilla Bake Shop's website and heard back within 24 hours. We discussed additional design and delivery logistics over email. Miriam is super thorough and was so considerate of my ever-changing requests. I landed on 2 dozen-- 8 sets of 3 custom cookies each. On delivery day, the cookies were delivered promptly within my requested window. She even included extras which I was so grateful for-- they were devoured immediately (so. good.). I assumed that the cookies would be bundled in a simple cellophane bag, but these were individually wrapped and THEN carefully packaged in these adorable boxes. Just above and beyond. Everyone was raving about the cookies that night! My pics don't do these cookies justice :') They're so beautiful and well-made, melts in your mouth and just the right amount of sweet. The design was perfect. Thank you to Miriam!!! Hope to work with you again for more events :)

It was very interesting and my son loved. The star of the show was a princess cake. My MIL loves princess cakes and she noted that this one was exceptionally moist and delicious which is perfect. Their primary focus appears to be on their special order cakes-which look amazing. The woman at the counter was friendly and helpful. After asking a few questions, I decided on the Passion Coco cake($5) and the Brown Sugar Pecan scone ($3.50). I enjoyed the Passion Coco cake slice. The coconut, passion fruit, and strawberry flavors worked well together, although the passion fruit flavor was very subtle. The sponge was cake moist, and the butter cream was spot on with its melt-in-your-mouth creamy texture. The Brown Sugar Pecan scone was good, but it had more of a dense muffin texture than a traditional scone, and the flavors were a bit muted. They did not skimp on the pecans though, which was nice. I would have enjoyed bolder flavors and a more traditional scone texture. Overall, I found that the walk in options are limited, but a great spot for locals to stop in and pick up tasty baked goods-and I would definitely order one of their beautiful and delicious looking cakes for a special occasion.
