I've been coming to Main Moon Chinese Restaurant for over 20 years, and it's been consistently reliable every single time. The beef and broccoli is still one of my go-to dishes--always flavorful, well-cooked, and satisfying. It's rare to find a place that maintains this level of consistency for so long. One of the best recent updates is that they now offer Halal meat options, which is a fantastic addition to the menu. It really shows they're paying attention to their community and making their food more accessible to everyone. Great food, friendly service, and a place I'll keep coming back to for years to come.very casual ambiance mostly take away although they do have 3 tables and chairs if you want to dine in. read more

BEST Chinese food in the area. The lo mein, the sesame tofu, and the TERYAKI CHICKEN SKEWER. 10/10. Delivery is fast, food is piping hot when you get it always, and literally everything we have tried has been AMAZING. read more

I'm extremely picky about Chinese food -- I grew up in a Chinese restaurant so I am highly critical of it. I've tried a few places around here that were good, but not great. Main Moon is beyond great. The portions are huge, the food was hot and fresh, and it's worth every penny you pay. The crab rangoons are the best I've ever had. Super crispy and huge! You get 8 big crab rangoons that are filled with the cream cheese and crab mix -- and generously so. The entire to go box was filled to the brim with fried rice and chicken, and I got extra sweet and sour sauce without even asking. 100/10, recommend. No photos because I was too into my lunch to snap a photo. read more

Food was pretty good. I tried the mongolian beef, sichuan beef, and a spicy chicken dish. All of the dishes were tasty. The workers there were very helpful and nice to us. They even added extra spice to the mongolian beef when i mentioned i liked spicy food. If you are looking for a classic take out Chinese spot, they do a great job! read more

I recently got one of their menus in the mail and was craving Chinese food on a cold day so decided to give it a try! They offered a lunch special on weekends so I got the Szechuan shrimp, chicken chow mein, Kung pao chicken and chicken in garlic sauce. All orders came with an egg roll, soup (we went with egg drip soup) and fried rice for under $7! The egg roll was super crispy and tasted great! The soup was also really tasty and warm. The dishes were flavorful however there wasn't a whole lot of chicken in there, and I wish there was a bit more spiciness! The shrimp dish came with 5 jumbo sized shrimp so that was plentiful. Overall, the food was really filling ( I still feel full 5 hours later) and the taste was good; however, I don't think this is my favorite Chinese takeout place. But, for the price, this place is perfect for anyone looking for a filling meal! read more

I've made several visits here for takeout and have been consistently pleased with the food. This small family run business cooks up some good and quick food. It's made to order and they also give a pretty generous portion at a very reasonable price point. They have a pretty large menu too. Main Moon is located in the Publix Shopping off of McGinnis Ferry Rd. They have a few tables available inside but it's pretty snug. Most of the customers I see when I'm there is taking their food to go. I wish though that they didn't charge $.50 for hot sauce or yum yum sauce. Their shrimp or house lo mein is probably one of our favorites along with their Mongolian beef. Love the fresh and plentiful veggies that come in the dishes that come with veggies. Also, they give a good protein ratio for each dish. Definitely check them out if you're looking for good Chinese takeout in the area! read more

Diner beware! Have gone here for many years, always good until last year. I'd find fatty pork pieces in the fried rice & lo mein, and one entree had sand in it, obviously something wasn't washed. An eggroll had something rectangular and hard in it, unidentifiable. I told them about it and they were sorry but it kept happening. But the last straw was moldy, yes moldy egg in the soup. Never again. I am done. I am so disappointed in what was once a quality restaurant, and I like to support small businesses, but this is beyond unacceptable. I am afraid to eat their food. The Health Dept has not inspected this place in 4 years. I think it's high time that they did. I am literally afraid to eat their food. See photo in photo section. read more

Fuck main moon. Twice I've ordered and gave me no package mustard. How hard is it to put that that in the order. Fuck them. Done ordering from them. read more

Husband and wife team owns and run it. They always have great food. My wife is Japanese and we are foodies.

I ordered from here because the place I normally order from closed at 9:00 and Main Moon was open till 10:00. I thought "all these Chinese Takeout places are pretty much the same." I was wrong. The fried rice was meh, the orange chicken was bad, the beef with broccoli was ok, and the egg rolls were practically inedible. I will not be ordering from here again. read more

Disgusting. This place has gone to total garbage. We've been ordering g delivery from Maim Moon for six years. I'm the past six months, prices have gone up 40%, and the quality has gone to total dumps. "Sautéed" string beans were soggy. As if they were boiled for a long time. Probably they use frozen string beans. And why would a dish named "sautéed string beans" be made mostly of onions and carrots. Terrible. Egg roll tasted fishy. I've never experienced such a revolting egg roll. Inedible. Chicken with snow peas... excessive garlic. And I normall love garlic. And the snow peas themselves: no crunch whatsoever. Soggy. Like the string beans. Beef with broccoli: I can't say anything bad, or good about it. Just MEH. Bland. I give up. Nobody seems to care anymore at this restaurant. SM read more

Always fresh and delicious. This is the only Chinese food we eat. It's a small local restaurant with big fresh ingredients

I ordered fried chicken wings. The wings were clearly cooked in some sort of pan that wasn't cleaned because you can taste and smell the curry left over on my fried chicken wings. The color of the chicken is not that of regular wings. That shows uncleanliness and I won't recommend this location. read more

Ive been coming to Danny's place for almost 10 years. I have tried literally everything on the menu. I enjoy their steamed dumplings. They aren't homemade but they do the trick with a beefed up ponzu sauce. I have them add green onions and sesame seeds with red chili. They fill my up and they're good. You always get cooked to order Chinese food and for the money it's a good deal. Sometimes the quality isn't where it should be but Danny and his family work very hard to make their little mom and pop restaurant go. I will say they should spend more time cleaning and organizing the little eating area but for the money and I always have a full belly and I like supporting young go getters trying to make a living in America. read more

Where do I start? I really love this Chinese food. I notice when the lady isn't present, the men almost always jack up my food . I'm not sure if they're not listening or what, but it never looks the same at all. Presentation is everything to me and fir anyone to do someone's food any kind of way is unacceptable to me. I ordered my usual and my chicken was 2 different colors. It was a mess and couldn't enjoy it! read more

Love the lunch specials. Portion is just right. You get a small vegetable egg roll, choice of soup (wonton, egg drop and hot and sour), fried rice, main dish and of course a fortune cookie. I recommend this place! Simple and good a Chinese food. read more

Delicious ! Every time I order my meal is great! This is the only place I will order Chinese food that reminds me of NY!

Our family loves this place! They have amazing customer service and the food is always delivered hot & fresh. They give you huge portions! I can honestly say I enjoy their food better than other places we've tried in the area, especially the crab Rangoons. My kids literally beg to have Main Moon. read more

Loved it! I have very specific tastes when it comes to General Tso Chicken, and this place nailed it. Crispy, flavorful, and the fried was awesome. The lunch special also includes a roll and rangoon, nice little touch. If you're looking for a quick lunch takeout, def give this place a try. read more

Always fresh and tasty love the spicy sauces, everything is good, don't forget a appetizer egg rolls and hot and sour soup are good!

Racist!!!! I unfortunately never had a chance to taste the food. My wife and I arrived 30 minutes before they closed, just to have the employee lock the door as he watches us walk towards the door. He continued to stare at us as we stopped in disbelief. He then watched us until we got back into our car. He then unlocked the door and went back behind his counter. This is my fave true racist experience since I moved here. read more

Quick and seamless our new favorite takeout. The food was hot, delivery was faster than expected.

My husband and I regularly get delivery from here. We have had Mongolian beef, sesame chicken, general tao chicken as well as egg rolls, spring rolls, crab rangoons and pot stickers. I'd say all dishes are above average and the portions are huge. Mongolian beef is very flavorful and tender-lots of onions so beware. Sesame is good-exactly what I'd expect. General tso is one of the best I have had in the area-it is the perfect amount of spice and it has a good crunch which isn't always the case for a delivery meal. We have been ordering for years and they have never messed up our order and drivers are always polite! read more

Amazing chinese food. Reminds me of the take out kitchens on Long Island. The Dumplings, Cold sesame noodles, egg rolls, rice, general taso chicken.all amazing!! The staff is great and the delivery guys are awesome! Never a bad experience here! ! read more

Not good at all. No flavor I've tried a few times now just because it is convenient but terrible food.

Close to NY Chinese so pretty happy I found them- egg rolls could be bigger but tasty anyway and white rice needs to be added to menu- happy they even have HO Fun dish- great cheat day meal Beef on the stick could be slightly sweeter and a little more charred but still best so far. Thanks read more

The lemon chicken sauce was okay but the garlic veggies were delicious!! The egg rolls were good but the sweet and sour sauce was a packet.

Worst food ive ever eaten! I ordered shrimp pad thai and i got watery noodles with undercooked shrimp, i also ordered general tso;s chicken and got rice and breaded chicken with little seasoning, and fried pot stickers that came to us boiled. After two bites we threw it in the trash and called to get a refund. I was yelled at after refusing an offer of different food, then after they hung up on me they called back not even a minute later saying the only way id get a refund is if they could come back to my house and get the food back. We said sure if you want it come take it. I have never had such terrible "chinese" or "thai" food in my life and terrible customer service. I will never ever EVER eat here again! read more

The first star is for the cooling breeze flowing in this place! The second star is for the restaurant. First and last time here. Let's talk about the food... Not good. I had the Sesame Chicken Lunch Special. It came with an egg roll, crab raggon and a choice of soup. The egg drop soup was heavy. Like a gel like soup. The fried rice was crunchy and dry. The chicken was hard. I didn't eat the crab and the egg roll was VERY bland. Now the restaurant. It's not the greatest. Definitely needs redecorating. The floor and tables were not clean (how I don't know cause they weren't busy). The plastic silverware was just out for everybody to touch and flys to land on. Just not clean. Very unsatisfactory. read more

The staff is not friendly and the food is terrible. The beef and broccoli had a strange taste, as did the egg roll. The shrimp were gross. I'm usually not impressed with this type of Americanized Chinese take-out restaurants, but Main Moon is pretty solid. Not everything is a home run, but I'm addicted to the Roast Pork Fried Rice, and Sesame Chicken (recommend to get sauce separate and dunk while eating). Service is always good, and food comes quick after ordering. read more

This place is inconsistent, but even on a good night, it's average at best. It seemed like it was pretty good several years ago, but has steadily gone downhill. The ambiance is awful too. After several bad experiences over the past year, I will not go back. Too bad since it's right around the corner. read more

This place is great! The steamed chicken and vegetables were really fresh with a wide variety of veggies. Also the veggies didn't have that weird clear gel consistency all over them like some chinese take-out. I ordered egg drop soup (pretty good) and got a free egg roll with a coupon. The egg roll was good because it wasn't over fried, just crispy. My food came with some kind of thick oyster sauce on the side that was great. The Mongolian beef and pork fried rice were also really tasty with good spices. This is the best and healthiest take-out I've gotten from a chinese place ever. Plus they deliver! My food arrived in 10 minutes, literally. I've lived in this area for 11 years and based on the other places nearby (pearl of china, pearl lien) this place definitely tastes better and is cheaper. I highly recommend Main Moon :) read more
