    Kung pao chicken
    Aparajita S.

I recently got one of their menus in the mail and was craving Chinese food on a cold day so decided to give it a try! They offered a lunch special on weekends so I got the Szechuan shrimp, chicken chow mein, Kung pao chicken and chicken in garlic sauce. All orders came with an egg roll, soup (we went with egg drip soup) and fried rice for under $7! The egg roll was super crispy and tasted great! The soup was also really tasty and warm. The dishes were flavorful however there wasn't a whole lot of chicken in there, and I wish there was a bit more spiciness! The shrimp dish came with 5 jumbo sized shrimp so that was plentiful. Overall, the food was really filling ( I still feel full 5 hours later) and the taste was good; however, I don't think this is my favorite Chinese takeout place. But, for the price, this place is perfect for anyone looking for a filling meal!

I've made several visits here for takeout and have been consistently pleased with the food. This small family run business cooks up some good and quick food. It's made to order and they also give a pretty generous portion at a very reasonable price point. They have a pretty large menu too. Main Moon is located in the Publix Shopping off of McGinnis Ferry Rd. They have a few tables available inside but it's pretty snug. Most of the customers I see when I'm there is taking their food to go. I wish though that they didn't charge $.50 for hot sauce or yum yum sauce. Their shrimp or house lo mein is probably one of our favorites along with their Mongolian beef. Love the fresh and plentiful veggies that come in the dishes that come with veggies. Also, they give a good protein ratio for each dish. Definitely check them out if you're looking for good Chinese takeout in the area!

Moldy egg in eggdrop soup. Disgusting.

Diner beware! Have gone here for many years, always good until last year. I'd find fatty pork pieces in the fried rice & lo mein, and one entree had sand in it, obviously something wasn't washed. An eggroll had something rectangular and hard in it, unidentifiable. I told them about it and they were sorry but it kept happening. But the last straw was moldy, yes moldy egg in the soup. Never again. I am done. I am so disappointed in what was once a quality restaurant, and I like to support small businesses, but this is beyond unacceptable. I am afraid to eat their food. The Health Dept has not inspected this place in 4 years. I think it's high time that they did. I am literally afraid to eat their food. See photo in photo section.

Regular fried wings with more of a curry color

I ordered fried chicken wings. The wings were clearly cooked in some sort of pan that wasn't cleaned because you can taste and smell the curry left over on my fried chicken wings. The color of the chicken is not that of regular wings. That shows uncleanliness and I won't recommend this location.

    The nasty crab rangoons

I just ordered from this place and coming from an asian background i know how chinese food is suppose to taste like and this is not it . They cooked old meat and served us with old crab rangoons , this place is selling us cooked expired meats and the dumplings are nasty

Ive been coming to Danny's place for almost 10 years. I have tried literally everything on the menu. I enjoy their steamed dumplings. They aren't homemade but they do the trick with a beefed up ponzu sauce. I have them add green onions and sesame seeds with red chili. They fill my up and they're good. You always get cooked to order Chinese food and for the money it's a good deal. Sometimes the quality isn't where it should be but Danny and his family work very hard to make their little mom and pop restaurant go. I will say they should spend more time cleaning and organizing the little eating area but for the money and I always have a full belly and I like supporting young go getters trying to make a living in America.

8 chicken wings. 4 of normal color, and the other four I don't know what happened. How do you miss this!

The shrimp were delicious and prepared just like I'm used to. This dish is lightly battered fried shrimp with a soy sauce bases sauce with red pepper and black pepper spices. It also features other sautéed veggies like green peppers and onions. The shrimp were spiced nicely, but also had the flavor of black pepper coming through. A lot of places don't get that right. The perfect mix of that spice red pepper heat and hint of black pepper are exactly why I love about this dish. The shrimp were fried perfectly and the veggies deliciously sauted. The Haemul Jjampong was a flavor and spice bomb. The broth was so flavorful and had a great essence of the seafood in it (squid, mussels, abalone). This soup is also for people not afraid of the spice...it was SPICY, but no so much that it was unenjoyable. The spice complemented the flavor and I loved it. The take-home of the leftovers was just as good the next day! If I had to say anything that they might think of changing, would be the addition of kimchi to the banchan. The banchan was ddanmuji (pickled radish, raw white onions, marinated white onion slivers, and soy marinated peanuts). A little plate mat kimchi to wrap around the Jjampong noodles would be perfection.

My husband really enjoyed his jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle). To be honest it wasn't all the rave. it was decent but we definitely had better. However, it wasn't horrible either. The sweet fried pork was probably our least favorite dish. It wasn't bad! but it was just very basic. I like when restaurants use the mochi type of batter to make it more crispy yet chewy. Not good - a good decade or two behind what the other Kor-Chinese joints offer, and they are not even that great either. Noodles were soggy with no depth, beef/pork that came in with noodles (jjm) and dishes (tsy) were tough and smelled old. Dry jjm was not dry-fried but wet and soggy. Not tryna be too critical, but restaurants should be graded and supported with what it delivers ultimately bringing to what the clients want and expect to receive. Good luck.

The sesame chicken was not crispy fried and the sauce was very sweet. The kung pao chicken was a taste that I've never had in this dish ... sweet with a little bit of spice. Luxury hot pot atmosphere with the best lunch price value for what you get at AYCE all-you-can-eat for $20. I actually get their hotpot lunch menu at least once a week, like clockwork. Meat portions are so large that I order half portion. Sauce buffet bar here is the best in Georgia. Super clean, refilled often, and even has amazing peppercorn oil 花椒油. Want my sauce recipe?
