fried wanton so overcook. inside was a dried up piece of pork. oil used for frying smelled stale. egg rolls so over cooked. not edible. all extra noodles were stale. the wonton soup broth was like water. no flavor. both main dishes had NO flavor. the vegetable chow mean . no taste. mostly bean sprouts. called the owner. We always order the shrimp fried rice, Mongolian beef, General Tso's, and lo main and it's always been the same great quality and tastes really good. Service was very good went in afternoon probably will be more crowded in the evening. Still many tables were filled. They accommodated me combining wonton soup with egg drop and husband had hot and sour soup which was very good. I tried a spring roll and husband had egg roll. This used to be my favorite place and i usually eat the same thing and it was always super consistent. This week I are my usual house lo mein and at first it tasted a little strange but then it started to taste rancid. I'm hoping it just a flavor thing and not a thing I might regret eating later. Classic American Chinese Vibe We were a party of five. 3 adults 2 Youths. We were created promptly and seated. Table for six. I noticed pink walls and dark furnishings. There is a $1495 menu option that includes an entree, egg roll, crab rangoon, rice and soup. 3 of us went for that. We also ordered hot tea. It was wonderful. Food was plentiful. Service was excellent. They almost checked back too many times. This is not a bad thing. We had a great dinner. We were super surprised at the end. I thought it was odd that the restaurant was empty on a Sunday night at 6:30 when i picked up my order. Every thing was packed well but the vegetables were mush. It was not terrible....maybe because we were hungry! After all the review I read before trying them out I feel like my food would had been fresher had it not been an hour before closing. I don't know? Their page clearly states that they make everything fresh and I can honestly say the fried rice nor the noodles were freshly made. The pork on the rice was so dry, it was like jerky. The veggies in the noodles were soggy and the hunan beef was not spicy at all. The weird thing is that the food was not bad; it had good flavor. Liked their lunch special. Everything was fresh and flavorful. We got the hot and sour soup which had a nice peppery taste to it. Perfect for a cool day. The spring roll was also good. The crab Rangoon had some crab in it compared to some places that only have the breading and cream cheese. The General Tso's chicken was alright. It came with a good amount of fried rice. This is our favorite Suwanee option for Chinese, and we have never once had an experience that wasn't stellar. Before the Covid lockdowns we really enjoyed the gorgeous interior of this restaurant, and the phenomenal service. I hope they open for dine-in again soon. Take out and delivery are both good options from Peking with quick service. Everything we've ever ordered has been tasty, but there's a fish dish I can't remember the name of that's mouth watering. Arrived at 12, ordered a lunch special general Tso chicken , food came out at 12:30 tasted like soy sauce and pork , didn't even try to eat it, took it back and told the owner. The owner tasted it and realized what I meant, he took it back , food comes out at 12:45 , rushed me out saying it's a fresh batch, I get to my truck and start eating and it's exactly the same. They use pork instead of chicken, and all they changed was adding a bit more chilis. Definitely gives them a bad look for people in the area looking for a new restaurant. Ordered a second time, and it was honestly dreadful and inedible. The sesame chicken was way overdone and nearly sawdust texture. It came with "fried rice" which was literally just white rice fried in oil with NOTHING else. The steamed dumplings were sour. Second time I ordered something sour tasting from there! Some of the best food I've had from a Chinese restaurant. We had barbecue spareribs that were wonderful and a honey chicken. Which was actually big chunks of white chicken not the usual chicken parts you get at some places. Everything was wrapped up for travel extra nice with pieces of cardboard to secure your food.
