Last year we celebrated CNY here, and today we did also. They are the best around this area. We are picky when it comes to Chinese food. We will drive to Canada or San Francisco for good Chinese food. But after searching for one in our area, this place has the best tasting. Service always great, not a bad area also.

Chicken chow fun with gravy sauce

To be transparent, I am Chinese and typically only eat authentic Chinese food. This chow fun noodle is very salty. It was edible but it would have been better with less oyster sauce. The server was great and prompt. The bar seems a bit more lively than dining room but I enjoyed the coziness of it.

Wonton soup was great

The layout is a little strange. The food was good though. Wonton soup was really flavorful and the noodles was cooked perfectly. I got kung pao chicken and I love that they used lots of zucchini and vegetables! (I asked for no peanuts) the water didn't taste good though. Also the menu says (no refills) next to the soda which I thought was kinda whack, but I ordered one and it came in a can then made more sense. I would just write "can of soda - $250" which would imply you don't get unlimited cans, rather than saying no refills. Just a critique though. The ice tasted a little off so maybe it's time to clean the ice machine. I'd probably try it again because the food was pretty good, and it's right by my work.

I'm here with family and someone found this place. Walking in you can be seated or walk to the bar ahead of you. There's plenty of seating inside for groups. I ordered a Chicken Fried Rice Plate....Food came out hot....Chicken Fried Rice was good....nice size portion too. If you're in the area swing on by.

Dining area was spacious and great for family dining. Waiting area had couple seats while waiting. We love getting the lunch special. It's a great deal. Our first time dining in, they provided an amazing service. Food came quick and hot. Our go to is the general Tao and orange chicken. The sauce is coated so well on both. The general Tao has a spicy sweetness whilst the orange chicken has the bright orange sweet flavor along with a salty soy. Chicken on both was crispy, juicy and good chunk of meat. Our server was lovely and attentive. Would love to come back for dinner to try their dragon bites and maybe order a couple of drinks from their bar. They have a great space in the bar area

I ordered chicken Gani pin .. on the menu it has mushrooms,Chinese greens, carrots and pea pods! But they decided to add

This might be my new favorite dim sum spot in the Seattle area! Everything we got was spot on -…read moreliterally nothing missed. We came around dinner time on a weekday and it wasn't busy at all, but it did take a while for the food to come out. We got the steamed spareribs, truffle shu mai, pork and taro shu mai, fried mochi with pork, sticky rice, and salted egg yolk mochi. I loved absolutely everything so much! Flavors were spot on, textures were amazing, and they were also really unique. I loved the truffle flavor on the shu mai, and the ham sui gok was done so well here too. I'm a huge salted egg yolk fan, and they did the mochi ball here perfectly too. I want to come back soon!!

Went here planning to have dim sum for lunch, but saw they had Peking duck on the menu. I'm a big…read morefan of Peking duck and ordered the whole instead of half. In hindsight, I should have realized that a Cantonese restaurant wouldn't likely get this dish right. The "Peking duck" at Triumph Valley was actually Hong Kong style roast duck. A plate came out with the duck skin. The duck meat was nowhere on this plate. Traditionally, Peking duck meat is served in thin slices and layered under the duck skin. A large bowl was set on the table. There it was, chopped through the bone into chunks with skin, meat, and bone intact. This is a signature style of serving Hong Kong roast duck. Unsurprisingly, the flavor was not pure, natural duck flavor. Instead, it tasted of Hong Kong style with 5 spice seasoning including star anise. It was also a pain to eat because of this poor carving style. Triumph Valley didn't use the traditional thin wraps either, opting for easier steamed bao buns. Thin pancakes are the traditional choice because their light, paper-thin texture doesn't overpower the crispness and rich fat of the duck skin. Triumph Valley used bao buns because they are easier to source (frequently purchased frozen) and are simpler for kitchens to prep than handmade pancakes. Big waste of $50. Avoid the "Peking duck" if choosing to dine at this Hong Kong restaurant because it is falsely advertised there and will leave you disappointed if you have experience with actual Peking duck and appreciate its natural flavors.

VERY disappointed. I've always walked by this place and wanted to give it a try…read more Sadly, this is yet another restaurant in this area that uses full strength industrial cleaner on their tables. The smell is overpowering. 80%-90% of taste is based on smell. All I could smell was chemical cleaner and could barely taste the food. When the bus person passed by me, the smell was even worse because of the cleaner soaked rag. He was spraying it straight out of the bottle so it was full strength, not diluted. I'm pretty sure if you read the instructions on any harsh chemical like that (I think this was ZEP, by the dark purple color), instructions are to dilute it and to rinse or wipe off with water. I've very sure they do neither here. You shouldn't be using any kind of smelly, harsh chemcial to clean tables in a restaurant. Quat santizer doesn't smell and is the standard practice. Whoever is selling ZEP in this area is making a killing apparently. (I can't dine in at Triumph Valley for the same reason). Harsh chemicals shouldn't be anywhere near food. Think about that when you rescue a wayward dumpling when it bounces onto the table. yuck. Having said that, I expected the beef noodles soup to be more flavorful. The broth was just okay, not as deeply flavored as I would've expected. And the meat was just barely tender enough, but not that impressive either. Fried spring rolls were very oily and the filling was severely overcooked. Complete mush. Not good. I wish I could say better things, but I barely finished half my meal because of the chemical smell. $14.99 for beef noodle soup is a good deal if you can actually taste it. $6.25 not a good deal for mushy, oily spring rolls.
