This might be a great place to drop off the kids, but it's a terrible place for a company outing. We schedule a corporate event there; which means they knew when we were coming, how many were coming and what our menu choice was. So we show up on time, the food isn't ready yet. Finally someone brings out pans of pasta and disappears for the rest of the time. There was no one to monitor things like; I never got my drink and no one else go any refills; and when 2/3 of the people went through the buffet* line, we ran out of pasta and chicken and bread and salad and silverware. Me, one of our company owners and another person wandered through the back halls hoping to find SOMEONE to help us. One of us managed to wrangle a hand full of forks. Then 10 minutes before we are kicked out of the room, they bring out bread and salad; too little too late. (* to me a buffet is "eat all you want" not "eat what little we will give you") The rest of the day the waitstaff was the same - nonexistent. So I went behind the bar to fill up some water glasses. I could understand if they were slammed. BUT WE WERE THE ONLY PATRONS THERE! So if you're happy with self-serve, then you'll love this place. read more

My cousin took me here for Monday night bowling. They have a deal on Monday's that start from 4pm til closing for $10 and it includes bowling, pool, laser tag, and other activities. You can bring your own bowling shoes or pay $3.50 for rentals, which comes with complimentary socks. The bowling alley looks nice and doesn't have a funky smell like other bowling places I have been to so that's a plus. Service here really sucks. Workers are nice, but communicate to each other really slowly. I guess we got an unlucky lane and our pins always had a problem resetting. I'm writing this review as I'm waiting for the workers to help switch our lanes and it's been about 10 minutes since the first worker said he would help us. Also, we ordered water and still haven't received it. If you can just go in and purchase everything through a machine. This is a fun place... From the beginning of our experience.. At the front register, I was first in line. There was guests coming in from sides "to ask questions" who got rang up before me TWICE. By the second person I said "excuse me can I make my purchase?" And the girl said "yes" but still rang in the other guests before she got to me. We had two rounds of bowling and both times servers were standing around even looking right at us and we'd have to grab them for help after "pushing the green button" repeatedly. We took a friend here for his birthday this weekend. We quickly realized that this is a Family Oriented Place with a nice Bar. We went in around 10:00 pm. SO most of the families were leaving. So we decided to stay and have fun. They have around 40-50 bowling lanes and around 10 -12 billiards tables. Its a bit expensive during the weekend. $29 per bowling lane per hr instead of the regular $19. But that is quite understandable. I don't think I will go back here. Fun day of video games, pool and bowling. Some of the games are a little old but hey I'm an old kid so that's fine, plus I don't' know what all the cool games are these days. Laser tag is where it's at. They have a two story laser tag arena with plenty of space that all 25 of us that went in actually had room to find each other. It was epic, I loved running around, protecting out base, and kicking ass. With laser tag only being $6(I think) I would definitely stop by one day just to go in and go that for 30 minutes. You do have to sign up and wait in line but it's not too long of a process. For the summer ME is having a great special like $15.99 per person for bowling, pool, and laser tag. I know it's pricey but if it's a one time night out with friends it's not too bad. The bowling was fun, especially since I did the best out of all the girls, but I don't like the setup, you sit in a long booth so it's hard to converse with anyone that isn't next to you. Playing pool was fun and an easy process. This is not the place to drink. My husband and I are occasional drinkers and thought it would be nice to get drinks. There are no prices on the menu so be prepared to be shocked like we were. We spent $25 on two margaritas. They were good but damn I could have bought a decent bottle of vodka for that and made my own drinks. So all in hall this was a great place to go every once in a while but definitely too expensive for a hangout. read more

I stood at the Bar to buy a pool table we waited for 15 minutes before anyone came to me and asked if I need help the bar tender looked at me and kept making drinks she didn't say anything to me so i stood there a little long before a guy came up and asked if we needed help I received my number because there was an hour wait on the pool tables which we was willing to wait no big deal my husband wanted to set down and watch the All Star game and have a few drinks anyway so we set in the self seating area which the guy knew where was sitting never said that serving was coming never asked if he can get us anything to drink while we wait for our serving we set here for 30minutes so I go back up to the bar to see if anyone was coming I was standing there for another 10 minutes the bar tender didn't say anything to me again they had 4 servers on the other said of the bar just laughing and talking which by this time I'm very mad so I stopped the next person I seen to get help the serve was a young girl that walked passed us about 3 times not one time did she that she will right with us no nothing now I'm pissed and I'm really to leave me and my family comes here a lot in the daytime with our kids and we never had an experience like what we had tonight whoever was the manager tonight need to get better servers and need more then one person on self seating area the All Star game is on you all should have knew it was going to be busy read more

I visited this location on 1/23/15 at about 9pm. We had an incident where we had ordered margaritas and when the bill came they were 20 dollars. We asked the waitor why they were so expensive, he said he wasn't sure and was going to speak to the manager, Tina, to see what could be done. The manager on duty finally came around and she was EXTREMELY rude. I would think that as a company you would want to treat your customers as GUESTS and not nuisances. We were simply asking a question and she treated us like the scum of the earth. She did not, in any manner, need to be condescending. She told us because she was comping the bill, which we did not ask her to do, that it was coming out of her personal pocket and that we need to know that those drinks are 20 DOLLARS. I had my daughter's 3rd birthday party here and everyone had a blast!! Our host was super sweet and kept me up to date on how much time we had left for anything like when we were bowling,eating ect. My bill come out to be a little over $300 but it was well worth every bit of it. Always hear about this place but never going there i was really shocked by the fun i had okay okay maybe it was the drinks to. Here there is pool,laser tag,video games and yes a bar. Seemed like a high school hang out to me but that didn't bug me since our lane was away from the young ones. The person doing the register for laser tag completely ignored me. Didn't even care I was there. He was very rude and gave me a face when I asked him to check my balance because the kiosks were down. It got to a point where I just grabbed them and went off and ask someone who was nicer. What made me give this place 2 stars instead of one was the guy at the checkout for the prizes he was the only person who made in a good mood when I left. Company Christmas party was there on Thursday, December 14th, 2017. Last year we had it at Pin Stack. I wish we would have gone back to Pin Stack. I spent most of the night looking for the manager because we were not receiving the services we paid for. It was so disorganized and chaotic. We purchased food for 45 people, and the food served wasn't enough to feed 30. We had to ask for more food. Our experience at this Main Event was disappointing. We have been to the one in Lewisville several times and have been happy with it. This has a lot to do with the employees. At this Plano location, the attitude of the employees was really bad- none of them seemed to care and were very unnecessarily rude to several people, including us. They did not seem willing to serve and help customers- they acted like they were doing us a service when really, it is their job to help customers! The attractions were fine, but there were so many employees there just standing around complaining to each other. When I was a high school kid working at my first job, I would never have gotten away with this! Main Event is wasting time employing all of these people who aren't doing anything at all. We came here for our department holiday party for some bowling and food. The bowling was fine, they had our information and we got our shoes and lanes quickly. The facility itself was clean as well. We ordered snack foods, soda and tea. They brought out the snack and tea but I had to remind someone we had ordered soda as well. This was all pre-paid so I wanted to make sure we got our full spread. The food is not good at all. The spinach dip is runny, the wings are kind of bland and the chips are like out of a bag from Costco. If we do it again, I want to suggest eating before we go. This was my first time at main event and we had the karoake room. It was so much fun. I liked the touch screen self service "jukebox" where you picked your songs. The private room too allowed for comfort and interaction with the party. I'd definitely consider it as part of a birthday celebration in the future. read more
