So... basically, this is a glorified bowling alley. I am used to going to Brunswick but we thought we'd give this a try since it's closer to our house. Prices are bit more expensive to bowl but their food is cheaper than Brunswick. We paid $48.75 for a Sunday afternoon (11:30am) and bowled for an hour and rented two pairs of shoes. I thought this was fairly expensive. However, we got the loaded nachos for about 10 dollars and they were pretty good. Servers were very slow in the bowling alley area and didn't refill our empty glasses. I don't think it was there fault I just don't think they were staffed. Monitors and screens are a great touch. We also enjoy the arcade game section so we can pretend we are 10 years old again. Overall, for what we are going for, we enjoy it. read more

We went here for new years eve. We sat down for food but no one took our order, so we ordered using the kiosk. As we're waiting for our food a waiter serving 3 cups of iced water to a table next to us spilled everything in front of our booth. The floor was soaked and ice cubes everywhere - but no one cleaned it up. Isnt that a tripping hazard? After 20 mins I asked someone to clean it up because i didnt want anyone to get hurt. Then we get our food but my wife got fries when she paid extra for a salad. We also had no utensils or napkins. So we tell the waiter and he comes back with a salad - but there was no dressing and still no utensils! I guess we are supposed to eat the salad with our fingers? My wife had to ask a bartender in another area for napkins. Then we went to pay via the kiosk and the bill was twice as much as what we ordered. They never cleared the previous peoples order at our table. I had to wait 10 minutes to flag down a waiter as there was no help. Talk about disorganised!! Then we played arcade games which was a better experience, but I noticed several people were hogging the best games. I wasn't able to play a game I like because one person played the same game over and over and never left! For unlimited play cards they really need to limit people to playing a game 3 times within 15 minutes or something. As I said this place is disorganised. Next year we will not come here for new years. We will stay home or go some place else. The food is pricey but you get no service. The arcade games are fun but it's very hard to play a game you like. Went to Main Event to celebrate my friends sons birthday today. We came on a Saturday so it's packed and the wait time for a lot of stuff was about an hour wait, which is normal. They will check your temperature upon arrival and masks are required. The reason for the 2 star is as I sat in one spot waiting for my kids. I never once saw anyone come around and sanitize the arcade area after the players are done. I cant speak for any other area but with Arizona's Covid cases, I would expect Main event to do better. People are are in line trying to get to the register and they are literally back to back and not 6 feet apart. Once you get to the register, there's no plexiglass protecting the employees from the customers. Please do more Main Event to protect your employees and customers read more

My son and i went here for a birthday party and we have never been here before. We absolutely Loved it! We spent almost 3.5hrs there. My son now loves bowling and a ton of fun games for the whole family and the food was delicious! I ordered and cobb salad and it was out quickly and the taste was phenomenal! Their $15 "unlimited" bowling and laser tag is not worth it. First it's not $15 as it doesn't include shoes. Then the bowling only allows one one hour at a time, then you have to move all your shoes, food and drinks then get back on a new wait list to bowl again later. They actually stop you mid game. This is a review of when I visited Main Event towards the end of May. First, it's a nice place, no doubt, clean, as it should be as it's a new place. But be prepared to bring a bunch of money, you'll need it. My son and I bowled for an hour, with 2 shoe rentals, $31.80 for the hour. It was fun, the lanes are great, with great animations. After bowling we hit the arcade side. I bought a card for $20, thought it would be enough for a little while for both of us, but mostly him. I was so wrong! Every game is over $1 each, even for a video game that ends quickly. In total, $66 for games. And this was gone in a little over an hour. If you have a couple kids, and want to stay more than an hour, bring at least $100. It's a nice place, but expensive. If you want games, go to Castles and Coasters, it'll be cheaper. read more

Decided to try the Gilbert location tonight. Never been before. Won't ever be back either. We waited at our table for 20 minutes. No one ever came. Not even with water. The hostess left her station and went to the kitchen area. I could see her telling them we had been waiting a long time. It didn't matter at all. A manager walked past our table to the Offices twice. I was asked to purchase a card so the kids can play arcade games, They put all the credits for the arcade on one card, sent me to another register by the laser tagging which is on the other side to have them separated for the kids, that took 25 minutes standing in line..the kids played for a bit, Then we got hungry, we went to section where we had to wait to be seated, we decided to wait it was about 5 minutes, they sat us down and we waited 20 minutes and no one came around, so I got up and asked the person behind the register and said "are we supposed to wait for a server or can I order here" ..The man responded and said " I will have a person some to your table right away" we Waiting another 20 minutes at this point i was frustrated with this place so we left..I spent about over 200 dollars on games in just 30 minutes because it's so expensive just for arcade games, not to mention half of them were out of order or not working... Each time I come here I have an amazing time and so does my family. I enjoy the laser tag most of all. I love bowling but usually get bored waiting for my turn, so having a full arcade steps away makes for an amazing experience. The last time I went, my husband and I left the kids at home and just did the one hour special of playing as many games as we wanted. We had a great time and I can easily say it was the best date I have had with him in years. I highly recommend giving this place a try. read more

Don't waste your money here. Our family of 5 visited on 24 July 23 during a family vacation. We were very disappointed in service, arcade games, VR and laser tag. All of the VR that we attempted had issues with the headsets, either didn't work or didn't fit (no adjustment so if your head was on the small side, someone had to hold the headset so you could play with both arms!). Over half of the arcade games we played charged credits, but didn't work. I can't count how many times I had to ask for credits back because the games didn't work. We bought the additional Story room...very lack luster for what we paid. Awful experience! This was a one and done kind of place! The only reason I give this place a one star is because the place was nice and clean! Bartender was super friendly while we enjoyed billiards and shuffleboard. I have been here a couple times usually on a weekend. This time we went on a Tuesday around 5pm for my son's birthday, there were about 12 of us. We bowled, played in the arcade, did the zip line, ate, drank, played pool. Pretty much everything. The girl at the counter was very helpful and explained everything well and even suggested better priced options. We ordered pizzas and a bunch of appetizers to share. The waitress was very nice, checked on us and the food was correct tasty and served quickly. Everyone had a great time. There were very few people there in comparison to weekends so I know that made things better for us overall. Def recommend a weekday over a weekend. read more

Took my kids here on Saturday and expected it to be packed and there to be a long wait to do everything. To my surprise, it was the opposite. We put our name in place to bowl, ordered some food and by the time our food got delivered, we where ready to bowl! They brought our food to our lane so we could eat and bowl. The food was okay, but what do you expect, it's just one of those things. The kids had a blast running around and playing games. My oldest loved the laser tag. My only complaint is that some of the staff was rude and slow. But hey, that's life. Pricing isn't that bad. It's about average for a place like this. Would go again in a heart beat! read more

I wish I could leave 0 out of 5 star review. Went wife my wife for some food and bowling. Everything was dirty. Had to ask multiple people to place an order. The nachos were horrible, came out cold and the poorest quality of ingredients. Staff was not friendly. Multiple machines were broken and everything appears old. At first glance you would think this would be a top of the line arcade. Newer games. Looks like a Dave and busters. However, the games are overpriced and only work maybe half the time. I had to flag down an employee thrice for credit refunds. First was for a beat saber VR game which I couldn't even play because the knob on the headset wouldn't tighten. Second was the terminator shooting game in which the reload button didn't work, third was for the beer pong game which wouldn't start after I slid the card, twice. The guitar in the guitar hero game had four buttons that didn't work but by that time I just said screw it and didn't get a refund for those credits. Overall I wasted probably about 40 credits. A few other comments, the place was understaffed and they clearly are not taking Covid seriously because there were several customers walking around playing games with no masks. Bartender, Charlene, looked at me several times but didn't come to help me, no one at bar for the longest, then a group of people came up to bar and she helped them, so I sat there and waited, asked another employee to help and she told me to just go to bar and that they would help me. The boys and I pulled up to main event one night to play some laser tag and arcade games. Laser tag was hella expensive but the teams were super fair. My 6 year old son had a blast. We then went to the arcade to play some games. Arcade was kinda pricey but nothing compared to flipside. After the arcade we went to cash in all of our tickets. We had over 2,000 so the boys decided to cop a nascar beer helmet. It was one of the jawns with the tube that feeds beer into your mouth. This place would get 4 stars if our beer hat didn't get stolen at a party later that night smh. read more

Every time we go here there is always an issue. Usually it's our food always comes out wrong or takes way too long. Tonight, i go to close out my tab at the bar and what should have been 25 bucks was 50. Multiole things on my tab that were not ours. All the bartender said was " well that wasn't me, someone else rang those in". Then the manager asked if it was our friends stuff. No because it was just my boyfriend myself and my 7 month old. They didn't feel the need to say sorry, take a drink off the bill or even the cheese curds that took an hour to get. When I got home I checked my bank statement and somehow got charged 3 transactions when I should only have 2. They sure managed to get me to pay the 50 for their mistake. I'm beyond livid with this place and now I have called 5 times and they dont answer the phone during their business hours. It's fun enough and for $15 per person (as long as you're there before noon) it's totally worth it. However, the service was only so so at best. Stood at the pizza line while 4 clerks looked at me and my daughter for 10 minutes. They advertise pizza by the slice, but we were told if my daughter wanted cheese we would need to buy a whole pizza. I imagine this would have been the case for any pizza as they had nothing in the window. Keep in mind this was 2:00pm on a Saturday. There was no one else in the line. So we decided to do the sit down restaurant instead. My daughter wanted the Oreo Shake, but they were out of that as well. So we got what they had in store (birthday cake shake) and she was happy. I wanted a protein style burger but they couldn't do that, so I ordered the wings. It's a good idea and the place is clean...probably just a management issue. PS. I do not recommend the wings. Honestly, I'm not one to come on here and complain, I just push past it. But last night was unacceptable. There's was a group of us there last night celebrating a birthday and it all started off with waiting for a table, once we got one, we we're trying to figure out how many people were gonna be there. So a group had just left and the girl offered us the three tables they were at and then seemed irritated that she had to clean this table. Not only were workers walking through our group but did not say excuse me or ask us to move a little bit so they could walk through. I was ran into by a worker and she threw her arms up and gave me a dirty look like it was my fault. I was just standing there and I did not know she was walking to go around me. Also, another worker had just walked through our group and almost hit a couple of us with his cart he had, no excuse me, no nothing. The girl waiting on us that night seemed like she was just very irritated and did not want to deal with us. I'm just so irritated and cannot believe that the customer service there was that bad. I first would like to start off with saying that the games here are not worth it. Everything is broken and needs to be fixed, absolutely horrible. Had it not been for the amazing service I received in dining, I would be giving this place a 1 star review. Luckily we had a fantastic server, Trey I believe his name was. A very nice and attentive young man. While other employees look absolutely miserable to be there, he kept a good attitude and a smile on his face. This is the FIRST business that I have been in that has taken out their baby changing tables!!!!! Is that even legal? When I asked why they removed them they claimed that they had to take them down in order to be complaint for COVID. Wait so you're telling me multiple people can touch a game before an employee gets to sanitize but you can't send in someone to sanitize the bathrooms for the changing table? I was then told I can change my baby ON THE FLOOR in the party room. Yeah that is SO MUCH better. Seriously PUT BACK YOUR CHANGING TABLES.
