The seats are big, comfortable recliners with attached trays that have cup holders and is big enough to set all your food on. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and wife did the sliders. I had my birthday party here (adult) and I have to say it may have have been the best birthday party I've ever had. FatCats Mesa is huge with plenty of parking. There are multiple movie theaters, a lot of bowling lanes, a grill, concession stand, a glow in the dark mini golf course, and an arcade. I worked with the event coordinator Emily beforehand and it was such a pleasant experience. I was not stressed at all, they did everything to my preferences and all I had to do was bring the cake. They frequently checked in on my preferences beforehand and even asked how I wanted the room decorated, which they handled themselves. There are several different food options to choose from for parties but we went with pizza which was pretty good. Everything was very reasonably priced, including the alcoholic beverages, which were fun and delicious. The arcade games were all working and well maintained. They had a decent variety and definitely had all the classic games I like to play. The prize counter was also nice and I enjoyed the glow golf course. My younger nephews came to the party and enjoyed so this is definitely a fun venue for all ages. Above anything else, every single staff member made the experience so pleasant from the event coordinator (who personally was present to make sure everything was exactly as I wanted it) to the party host (who checked in on us regularly) to the bartender to the person at the prize counter. I felt like everyone truly wanted me to have a happy birthday and a great event. I would happily come here to hang out or have another event. We have always stopped at concessions to get our drinks and snacks before a movie, however noticed you could order and pay for this in the app now and just have it brought to your seat. We showed up 20 minutes before the movie, scanned our tickets and went to our seats. Nothing showed up! Waited til the movie started and still nothing. Terrible establishment STEVE & NICHOLAS should not be a manager the fact that a single dad was trying to take their daughter to the women's restroom and escalating it to calling the police and traumatizing the poor little girl is outrageous ! People like them and their young employees need to learn what customer service is ! They couldn't even let the father explain or even acknowledge and take accountability that they made the mistake. Why would he take her to the men's restroom if they have urinals ? We went and did the glow in the dark putt putt. It's a great family activity! We also played in the arcade for a bit! It was very addicting. It's not as big as a Dave and Busters arcade, but it's a decent size if you have little ones. My husband and I also had a date here while we were visiting. We watched The Color Purple which was a very beautiful movie. And the theater was not packed at all, we were the only 2 people in the theater. It has reclining chairs and they are very comfortable. The bathrooms here are very clean and if you have a baby and forget a diaper or supplies for cleaning, FatCats even has you covered. The overall vibe is they care about their establishment and it shows. If you're ever looking for something to do as a family or even a date, FatCats is worth trying. Fat Cat's is in our neighborhood and we decided to go in to see what it's all about. They have a full sized movie theater, an area for arcade games, mini golf, and bowling. They have a snack bar for some delicious eats. We went for bowling. They charge $18/hour per person for bowling. We got our shoes and they told us what lane we had and after picking out the right ball, we got to work. I am not good at bowling, but it was fun none the less. Love fats cats and so excited I have a location in Mesa. It's such a great place for bowling, movies, video games, golfing and VR. This location is huge in comparison to the Gilbert location. I generally come here for the movies and I'll say the theaters are way nicer than the Gilbert location. They even have little tables for each seat so you can enjoy your food. The biggest fault of this location is the food choices in comparison to the Gilbert location. It's a smaller menu and doesn't nearly have the options like the fat cats burger and the loaded nachos. I wish they would update the menu to add those. I do like they have the Dolby Atmos audio system in the theater. Best sound you can get for your movie experience! Outside of that, it's a great experience and I love fats cats. If they just expanded the menu a bit, they would get five stars for sure read more
