beware do not use this company unless you wanna waste your money. The maids don't speak English, they don't follow instructions, in a one bedroom apartment with two rooms they vacuumed only one room. This was a cleaning for move out and they didn't even clean the part of the floor by the front door, they skipped sweeping and mopping, they sprayed stuff on my tub but didn't actually clean the tub and just left it streaking everywhere. The best part is they left $200 worth of food that was in my refrigerator and freezer out on the counter to waste and it was all organic from Costco which I feel the need to know with the prices of groceries these days. This is one of the worst customer service experiences that I have had of all time. I purchased a Groupon for a move out clean in the beginning of December and reached out to schedule. I received confirmation from Daniel for the appointment and sent him the voucher number to confirm the services. I was told that I purchased the wrong Groupon and I needed to purchase a "move out" cleaning service and that the cleaning team would not clean the appliances otherwise. Which, fine, if that's their policy. I exchanged the Groupon for the correct service. I sent the new voucher number and confirmed the date and time again. After waiting for 20 minutes for the cleaning team to show up, my husband calls them and talks to Daniel. He said that we were never scheduled for the 13th and that he doesn't know what happened. No apology, no accountability. So, we get scheduled for the next day and then I get another message that the Groupon number that my husband was giving him was invalid. My husband did not have the accurate voucher number because I never gave it to him, but Daniel did because I emailed it to him on December 7th. He told me that he couldn't see the voucher number because he didn't have access to email and tried to place blame on my husband. I bought the 6hr groupon. The 2 ladies showed up 10min early and got straight to work no questions. I left them for most of the allotted time, but made sure to come back early to check their work and tip, but they had already left. The job was meh. Obvious things were missed or half done. Like a toilet bowl missed, the floor in front of the fridge missed, corners and nooks & crannies of pretty much everything. It was a very ok job, not really noticeably clean, bathrooms didn't smell fresh, so all in all, I'd say I probably got what I paid for. read more

Maybe these guys just don't treat their customs who purchased Livingsocial deals the same as regular clients. Booked an appointment for a 3 hour deep clean on our house on Livingsocial. This was a move-out clean so I had to go out of my way to go let them in at 8am. To my surprise there were 2 cleaners instead of one. They verified it would be 3 hours and I said I'd be back at 10:45am to inspect the house, which they said would be great. 15 minutes later Daniel from their customer service called to tell me they'd actually only be there for 1.5 hours since there were two of them, so it equated to 3 man hours. I was unhappy since I had already planned to come back at a certain time with my job and he apologized for not letting me know the day before. I went back around 10 (the soonest I could get away from work). I don't know what the hell they were doing for 1.5 hours but only a fraction of our house had even been touched. They ignored basic dusting, sweeping, wiping shelves, etc. They had left lights on in the house and cranked the AC down to 65 and set it to run continuously! Immediately called Daniel, who got super defensive, said the cleaning was by time, that our house was filthy and that it was my responsibility to dictate a priority list, which apparently he mentioned when I first made the appointment A MONTH AGO. My wife and I purchased a LivingSocial deal for a 5-hour deep clean at our home. The staff person who arrived at our house did so in a timely fashion and worked independently to clean both our house and an adjacent apartment in extraordinary fashion. She was diligent, polite, thorough, and she completed the work very carefully. We were really happy with the service and would recommend using Maid for Help to anyone in the Austin area. Our only issue was with scheduling, and that is a result of, I think, having multiple deal sites promoting the company. For the cost, it was still worthwhile, but I think Maid for Help might be backed up for a little while. read more

The WORST cleaning service with EVEN WORSE customer service. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY! We bought a 3 hr package from Living Social - the maid arrived 10 minutes late, took another 10 minutes to "set up". Moved at snail's pace. An hour later, she was still in the bathroom cleaning (mind you, we have a maid service every month to clean so it's not like it was super-dirty). When I reminded her of the time, she decided to move a bit faster, but 3 hours later, only 1/4 of the house was done. She left PROMPTLY on time, irrespective of how late she started. When I contacted the company, customer service (Daniel Guajardo) got all defensive and said that this was bought on time basis and my house may have been all dirty! How are they in business? Scheduling was super easy and Daniel was pleasant. Christina, who came and cleaned the house was very kind and nice and cleaned the house VERY well. She cleaned the house much better than any other cleaner we've ever had come to the house. She was thorough and paid attention to detail. I started with the Living Social deal on a move out clean and I felt they did a really good job and even tho I was the difficult one for scheduling, Daniel worked with me to get it done. I've been using them for the year and a few months since then and I feel they do a really good job. Daniel went out of his way to schedule a team of folks at a specific time and date to clean my house to get ready to sell. It was a huge mess and in total disarray. The team he sent went straight to work cleaning up everything in spite of the horrible mess and clutter of moving stuff... bad timing on my part. Very very bad experience. I am very happy with the cleaner. But Mr Daniel made the the cleaner leave in the middle of cleaning job. All I asked is can I buy 30 mins worth of service. Though I was ready to pay an hour price for 10-15 mins job. He refused to sell and pull the cleaner out of job. Worst ever experience I got through out my life.
