I appreciated that he wasn't recommending just the default micromesh gutter guards because I was asking about them, but let me know the pros and cons and general price differences of multiple options. He said he would get back in touch with an estimate shortly, but it's been over a week now and, after multiple attempts to follow up with him (and despite the fact that he was initially very good about following up with me when setting the estimate appointment), I haven't heard anything further. This seemed pretty unprofessional to me, so I looked up the NV license number he has listed on his business card and it turns out that his company and license number are not listed, which is a worrying sign. While he seemed to me like he knows what he's talking about with regard to rain gutters, and looks like he's operating out of a well-equipped truck, all of this has given me enough pause to move on and go with a different contractor. read more

He gave us a quote that was super affordable and scheduled us for two weeks out. He called ahead and was mindful that I would be working from home on the day of so he wouldn't bother me he said. Had you asked me a month or more ago, I'd say 5 stars. They did do my gutters a few years ago and did great. Unfortunately, I had neighbor rip off some of my gutters while drunk. I asked for a quote to repair as well as some additional work on some more gutters in the front. I told him I'd need the quote for the police report too as I am pressing charges on my neighbor for damages. A couple days go by. No quote. I call and leave a voicemail. No return call. I send a text explaining the urgency. No response. A few days later I try again. Silence still. I called again today and left voicemail saying just to please let me know either way and a courtesy call would be appreciated. Still have yet to hear back. I am so disappointed. As someone in the real estate industry, I refer clients to companies for home services all the time and had shared their info before. No I'll be telling my clients to stay away. Nice people to deal with. Unfortunately that doesn't extend to the workmanship. A local handyman offered to do the work, but I wanted to get seamless gutters installed. I should have taken up the handyman's offer. One twenty foot section of gutter was installed backward with it sloping away from the downspout. I found out later when I went to clean the gutter and saw 19 feet of it with standing water. Two guys worked on another section and it turned out horrible. One started at the high end and the other at the lower end resulting at a low point before it reached the downspout. When I pointed this out, the response was.....the water will run off so fast that it won't be a problem. I said that it will result in standing water and a potential breeding ground for mosquitos. No response. They came back to try and fix it - no improvement. At the time this section of gutter wasn't visible from a distance as a large tree shielded it from view. Now that the tree is gone, it's highly visible. The gutter doesn't follow the slope of the fascia. I'll pay someone else to come and fix this. I still have about half of the house to install gutters on. It'll be by someone else. read more

Alfredo V. came on Friday to give a price quote. Wrote it on the back of his business card. Said would be next week when work could be done. Alfredo called Sunday to say his crew could do the work tomorrow (Monday). Because he seemed a bit to hasty to do the work, I checked with the Nevada State Business License Web Site and foound NO record of his having the required Business License. The # on his card is not in the State Listing of registered/licensed Businesses. Next, I did a check of theContractor Licensing Board directcory and there is NO evidence he has a Contractors License. I was unable to make a connection that would indicate he has Workers Comp. Insurance or even General Liability for property damage/ same for bonding. Because of these finding, I called and left a message cancelling his work and advising him that IF his workers showed up, I could not and would not allow them to come on my property. I seriously question the record of positive YELP Reviews and wonder how many bothered to do a cursory background check of this company that appears to be operating with benefit of a license or verification of required insurances.
