I appreciated that he wasn't recommending just the default micromesh gutter guards because I was asking about them, but let me know the pros and cons and general price differences of multiple options. He said he would get back in touch with an estimate shortly, but it's been over a week now and, after multiple attempts to follow up with him (and despite the fact that he was initially very good about following up with me when setting the estimate appointment), I haven't heard anything further. This seemed pretty unprofessional to me, so I looked up the NV license number he has listed on his business card and it turns out that his company and license number are not listed, which is a worrying sign. While he seemed to me like he knows what he's talking about with regard to rain gutters, and looks like he's operating out of a well-equipped truck, all of this has given me enough pause to move on and go with a different contractor.

Radio silence since. Great salesmanship, broken operations. A foreman was eventually sent out and did complete the repair -- but co-owner Eric Mason's April 29th message stated he was 'not even made aware there was an issue,' meaning his own team fixed the problem without him knowing.

Super friendly, super efficient, and super conscientious. Due to the snow cover and ice in the gutters, Junior and Francisco took extra time to make sure everything was thawed out for cleaning and then installed properly, and then they took extra time to clean up the debris from the gutters around the yard. Really appreciate the great work and am happy to now have micro-mesh guards installed to help keep the gutters clear. These guys are in demand, so expect to book a bit in advance.

I made it clear to the scheduler what my budget was and not to send anyone if I couldn't have it done within that budget. I told the sales guy my budget of 3K-4500K. I told him when he arrived and before he looked around my 2 bedroom home here in Reno. He said, no problem let me inspect the property and come in afterwards. He then worked up an estimate for $14,700. What? I told him I lost everything in the fires last year and what I had was all I had and if I paid more I wouldn't be able to get my roof fixed, which was a much needed repair. Be prepared for the manipulation that goes down because all they are trying to do is to see just how much you have, even if you tell them point blank. I was crystal clear. I made the mistake of saying what I put aside for the roof work and he basically came up with a new estimate with the total adding on what would have been my roof repair money and my gutter protection money. A smooth talker managed to get my business and deplete me of all my funds, and he told me that it would take two days. I pointed out my areas of concern and he reassured me they'd lift my gutter where it was sunk and take care of everything. That never happened. And the job was done in 4-5 hours and they told me they could have been done in 3.5 hours if it wasn't such a hot day and that they needed to take breaks. Sorry but the product isn't worth 10K and as nice as the installers were, they weren't getting paid $100 an hour (sadly) and they didn't make the repairs that the sales person told me they would make. They just threw in some silicone and put the plastic grates over the existing gutters and did some cleaning out of the gutters. The sales person bragged that they have had 333% growth and that none of that growth has been passed down to saving the customers money and it hasn't been passed down to the employees who aren't making great money. None of them even have the gutters on their homes because two of them can't afford to buy a home and the other two can't afford the gutters. There's something wrong with this picture. No company can grow without customers and they can't get the work done without employees yet it seems that they ignore the customers budget and push their employees to do at least two jobs a day in order to get a weekly bonus. How disheartening is it that the CEO makes all the money, and by the way, he doesn't care that I wasn't able to go to my fathers funeral ten days after the installation because I didn't have any spare money to be able to attend because I got scammed out of all the money I had, and I can't get my roof done. If the company would have respected my budget that I made clear from the start I would have never been in this position. The work done isn't anything worth what I paid. The first major rain happened days after the install and there is major water issues in two areas of the gutters, which I let the Operations manager, Jacob know about but he's done nothing to fix it. In fact, I called the office minutes after the installers left when I saw how quick they got the work done and I realized I had just been ripped off and I knew my budget would have more than covered the work that was done and I wanted to talk to someone. Nobody answered my calls. Five hours after I left a message I got a call back from a woman who told me I should talk to a manager but she couldn't find the email address, so that took fifteen more minutes while she looked for it. Once I sent the email, a very detailed one, with pictures, I got a reply back that said I wasn't authorized to send emails to that address so it could sent back. I had to then go to their website and start all over and issue a complaint. Two days later I got a call from Jacob the Operations Manager, who left me a message. I called him back 8 times. He didn't have a voice mail set up so I couldn't even let him know I was calling. It wasn't until my 9th try, mind you I had a father that died unexpectedly so this was exhausting to expend so much energy on a company that completely took me for thousands of dollars, and all I wanted was a refund in the overpayment of what I had done. But no, they didn't acknowledge my request to respond to me in writing. I just got one call from Jacob who said he was the operations manager. He didn't acknowledge the issues with the work done or about the budget I had that company didn't honor. And I never heard back from him again. They just blew me off. A company that wants your money and doesn't care about you or your satisfaction is something you need to know before you get involved. And by the way, they did let me know that the CEO owns over 80 businesses including a NASCAR team, so me as a homeowner who lost everything in the fires last year and who made it clear how much I could spend $3K-$4500. Nobody honored my budget.

Miguel came on time and wearing a face mask. He walked the house, took measurements, did his calculations, and then provided a written price quote. He also showed us color samples and sample pieces of rain gutters he used for installations. After getting other price quotes from other rain gutter contractors, we decided to hire Custom Made Gutters. We signed the contract and included our deposit. Wendy got us scheduled onto Miguel's busy work calendar. Miguel came out as scheduled and took 1 day to do the full gutter installation. He did very professional work. All gutters had the correct slope and all joints were tight and well fitted to the house lines. Miguel cleaned up all debris and there was no extra gutter material left over. A postive demonstrated skill trait of a well experienced (20+ years) installer with good focus on providing excellent workmanship and customer service!!
