Two stars because the gutters themselves look fine. The leaf guard screens however were never properly secured -- they weren't drilled in -- and began shifting. What followed was four weeks of unanswered calls and texts. Co-owner Eric Mason eventually responded personally, acknowledged the issue, promised a follow-up. That was over two weeks ago. Radio silence since. Great salesmanship, broken operations. A foreman was eventually sent out and did complete the repair -- but co-owner Eric Mason's April 29th message stated he was 'not even made aware there was an issue,' meaning his own team fixed the problem without him knowing. read more

Dave came out on January 22, 2025 and worked with my husband to get an estimate for gutters for our home. Dave waited until I got off work to say hi and to explain everything to me as well. Super nice dude, great service. Fast forward to today, February 4th, 2025. Our appointment time was at 7:45am but arrived at 8:47am after reaching out to find out what was going on. Seth arrived and got ready to start setting up the gutters. He was on his own until about 12:30 when his manager showed up to provide assistance. They finished installing the gutters around 2:30pm. They have a 5 year warranty on the gutters which is pretty awesome Thank you so much!!! read more

I love dealing with this company and their sister company battle born painting. They were really clear about what needed to be done and why showing us the damage. They did it the right way measuring then cutting on site. No plastic junk, metal only. They gave us a fantastic price for never cleaning our gutters again, good luck getting a better deal on leaf filter gutters. Local business. Been in the area for a while. They installed a high quality gutter and it was done right. I even got on a ladder and looked inside. They spent the time to make the sealant inside nice and smooth even though nobody would see it. The crew (Drew and Caleb) were professional and fast. Just had a great experience with new gutters installed by the guys at Battle Born Gutters. Eric was friendly, knowledgable and professional when he came out for the estimate. He took his time explaining everything to us and going over the details for the installers. About 2 weeks later Brandon, Ryan and Jaryn showed up for the install. Jaryn walked around the house with us going over everything that he read in his notes from Eric. Once everything was confirmed they began working. All 3 of them were polite, friendly and professional. They made some ascetic adjustments for me and wanted to make sure I was happy with the work. When they were done they picked up all the loose metal shavings and screws and swept the area making sure nothing was left behind. We made a final walk around the house and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. The gutters look great, the color match is spot on and I've already gotten compliments from neighbors. Well apparently the guys who installed my gutters were drunk, which explains why everything was so wrong. They've been fired, so probably you will have a much better experience! Especially if you get Drew as your installer. Drew came out Friday as promised, which was great. He didn't actually know what he was there to fix, which I thought was a little weird but not a big deal. He checked everything out and left to get some materials. I guess one of the places had just closed so he was not successful, but did some other stuff and took away the old gutter pieces the other guys had left behind. So that was exciting. I also appreciated that Drew apologized that this had happened. I know it is sometimes hard to hire good workers and although it was certainly not my intent to get the other guys fired....they should not have been doing this work. Drew gave me his cell phone number before he left Friday and promised to return Monday morning (today). He called and texted in the morning and at first said there was an issue with their trucks so he wasn't going to make it, but I guess the problem was resolved so he could (and did!) make it to fix the gutters (and replace part in the back of my house). Drew was awesome and as long as you get him, I think you'll be very happy! (I am assuming the new gutters work anyway...they definitely look a lot better!). Hopefully the drunk guys will get replaced with a better crew. If I'd had Drew from the beginning, I'd probably give 5 stars, but cannot give more than 4 to a company that made my gutters worse when they replaced them and cost me a lot of time and frustration. The whole reason I really needed new gutters was to keep my front porch dry and for the wettest week we've had in Reno in years - it only got much wetter. read more

Dave came out to give us a quote on our gutters and had us scheduled for install a few weeks out. We were happy with what we were quoted and the option to finance for 0% interest for a year which helped a ton. The guys came out and installed them last Thursday which was also a great experience. They were professional and efficient. It snowed the next day and it was great to not have water dripping all over the entry of our house anymore. My only regret was not calling them earlier to get this done sooner. 100% recommend, not worth looking anywhere else. read more

It's a sad fact that the current demand for work is greater than the available work. Apparently, that includes unprofessional and irresponsible customer service as well. I tried to get Battle Born Gutters to fix my leaking gutters for over a month. After days of messing with their point of contact, we got an appoint for an estimate three weeks out. A phone call and text message to confirm the appointment followed. The day came and went with Battle Born Gutters failing to call or show up. We tried calling but got a voice mail message and no call back. So, we wasted a month waiting for the "best" to take our money. At one point they told us "we're so busy with other jobs it's hard to fit repairs in." Remember this when the recession hits and you're begging people to support the local trades. read more

We chose for Battle Born for the good reviews. The quote process was quick and professional. The actual service leaves a little something to be desired. I reached out for gutter cleaning as there was a clog. We decided on the gutter covers which included the cleaning. The crew removed the debris and threw it into my yard without cleaning that up. Not a huge issue except one of my dogs is allergic to pigeons and pigeon poo. Which is what was causing the clog. read more

Called these folks for an estimate on installing a new gutter on the second story of my home and my experience was fantastic. I initiated contact through a Facebook ad and requested the initial quote which was immediately followed up by a more thorough call from the company. They quickly scheduled an on-site estimate at which time I felt the price was better than average and proceeded. The company was easy to work with on scheduling and my only complaint is they are very busy so it took over a month to get my install scheduled. I was okay with it as they explained it to me. Had a fifty foot gutter section destroyed by last winters snow. Called Battleborn and Eric came to provide a quote. He explained everything and was completely transparent about the cost, materials used, installation materials and quality to expect. He matched the color perfectly. We set up a date for completion for about a month out. Eric provided a complete estimate, with diagrams, on the spot. In between the quote and actual install, Battleborn provided several reminders and confirmation requests which I appreciated. Several days before the install, Pete reached out to say he would be performing the install. On the day, Pete text to let me know exactly when he would arrive. Unfortunately, Ive tried twice to get this company to give me an estimate for new gutters. 1st time was understandable b'c it was during the big storm of new years 2023, rescheduled for a week and a half later. Just be warned, if you do not reply to their text confirming your appointment, THEY WILL NOT SHOW UP. I completely missed their text the day before due to a work obligation in the field myself working on an installation away from a phone and didnt see it till early this morning where i responded. As a business owner, I would NEVER not show up if someone didnt cancel. I took time off of work for a 9 am appt and the customer service lady was rude and said if you dont confirm, we dont come. What if i lost my phone or something happened and i couldnt respond timely? If i dont call you to cancel, the default is you are showing up. The first time, i gave grace the estimator was late due to weather and I couldnt meet him later due to my own work obligations. in business, Word of mouth can make or break your business. My time is just as valuable as a business. Might want to think about your policies. i will take my business elsewhere as well as my neighbor who was going to call to get a quote from you as well. BTW, no where in your text does it say we will cancel your appt if we dont get a response. it says REMINDER OF APPT. my dentist/doctor/etc doesnt cancel an appt if I dont confirm.
