Gutters had broken loose in the high winds on my house overlooking Carson City. I was desperate and pressed for time before they might come crashing down. High Sierra responded promptly and fit me in the next day on a Friday. Before they arrived, I recieved schedule updates and that was much appreciated with so many unreliable contractors around this area (sorry, but true) and they arrived ahead of schedule at 2:30 pm. About an hour later the kind and skilled team had me fixed up better than new and for a surprisingly fair price. After reading the reviews here, thought I made the right choice for my mom when she needed gutters installed on her patio, boy did I make the wrong choice. After installation, my mom noticed there was a few spots that was leaking, so i called tyler up, he didn't pick up so I left a message, never got back to me. After a couple weeks on a different phone, my mom called and Tyler picked up and told my mom he would come down the same day at 2:00 pm to take a look at the leaks, because they are suppose to be guaranteed which I have in writing, 2:00 came and went and tyler did a no call no show to my elderly mother! My mom called an hour later, he did not pick up, I called a couple hours later, tyler still did not pick up. Now my mom has to go pay out more money that she does not have with another company to fix those leaks! Is this how you treat your elderly customers in the community? read more

I got two estimates to install gutters around my house. Tyler at High Sierra rain gutters completed a quick estimate that was substantially lower than the competition. He explained the process in simple terms and clearly knew what he was talking about. Even before he gave me the estimate I remember thinking that I would go with High Sierra rain gutters just because Tyler had a level of professionalism that was unparalleled, even if his bit was higher. A deposit was made quickly online and I got a call about a week later with the date of the installation. I was worried about some plants around the house so I took some pictures sent them to Tyler and asked him to be mindful of the plants and he replied promptly that it wouldn't be a problem. I wasn't there for the installation. When I got home and looked at the gutters, they turned out perfect! On top of that all my plants were in great shape. There was no waste around the house and to be honest there was really no trace that anyone was at my house with the exception of a few foot prints in the dirt. I got a follow up call from Tyler asking if everything was satisfactory and I thanked him for the awesome job he did. I don't often write reviews but I had to in this case. Tyler was prompt in giving us an estimate and was right on time for our scheduled installation appointment. A team of two, they were quick and did an outstanding job. Not something every homeowner wants to spend money on but we are very satisfied with the job and love the look! They had a lot of color choices. We wanted to change our trim color so we were able to color match (bronze with cream downspouts) and paint before the appointment. Needed rain gutters for our house that we were fixing up to sell, checked Yelp reviews and called High Sierra on Friday for an estimate. Tyler called back and set it up for Saturday and gave me his cell number in case of any last minute issues. I texted a photo of the house just to give him an idea of what was involved (very simple - two runs along the front of the house). He texted back right away and said, based on the photo, they could do an estimate without going out and it would be very close. Estimate came on Monday (around a third less than another) and, since we needed it done ASAP, he was able to schedule first thing Tuesday morning. He and his assistant showed up, installed the gutters and downspouts in no time including working with us to make sure downspouts were where we wanted, were off on their photo-based estimate by only two feet, and were completely pleasant and professional. I don't usually bother with reviews but these guys deserve this one - my wife and I were that impressed. read more

Tyler and his team did a great job and went the extra mile at the end when I asked them to paint the wedges the same color as the gutter. They did and I'm a very happy customer! Tyler brought samples and assisted me in selecting a color which is a perfect match with the trim on my house. They were on time and got the job done quickly.
