On Thursday, February 13, 2025 I called Distinctive Rain Gutters LLC and left a voicemail asking them to call me back to set an appointment for a quote to new gutters. Max called back a day and half later, no voice mail was left. So I called him back and had to leave another message to get him to call me back. He did not call me back. I had to call again hours later for Max to answer. He said they could come Sunday, but would call me when they are on their way. I said no I need an appointment time and agreed upon 10:30-11:00 am. Today, Sunday February 16th, Matt left a voicemail that he is in Carson City, asking if I still want him to come. I called him back and stated yes we have an appointment and stated the time. He asks again if I still want him or not and I ask do you want business because it doesn't sound like it. Mind you he sounds like a young teenager playing games on the phone. He finally says yes and that he can be at my house in 15 minutes. I asked how can you be at my house that quick when you are in Carson City and I live in Gardnerville? All he said was ok and he's coming. We agreed on 10:00am. It is now 9:55 am and he calls but leaves no message. I call him at 10:10 am to see where he is and he states he thought I live in Carson City. At this point I am upset because I have given between the two of them, Max and Matt, my address THREE TIMES, including this morning on Sunday on the phone. He has the nerve to ask me what's my problem after he spits off an incorrect address from the top of his head because he didn't write the address down. I told him I am upset at the games they have been playing, the lack of disrespect for my time, and not honoring appointment times nor properly writing down my address. He has the nerve to say he feels disrespected because he is just trying to figure this out. There is nothing to figure out other than poor business practices and nonsense games from a guy that sounds like skateboarding kid who doesn't value customers. If the way they run their business of scheduling appointments and disrespecting customers is any indication of the quality of their work, I'm glad I won't be hiring them for the job. read more

This is probably the very worst home repair type company I've ever seen. I called and spoke to Max a week ago and asked him to install gutters on my house. he said he had to order them and they would be in by Friday. He said they would be installed Tuesday the following week. I called him on Tuesday morning he said he'd be over in 30 minutes because he wanted to make sure they gave him everything he needed for the job. He arrived two hours later. Said he needed to go to Reno for some stuff and would be right back. It seemed to me that he never ordered anything and I still don't believe that he ever went to Reno either. He never came back, never called, Nothing. also people should know that Max is about a 20 year old kid who showed up with what seemed to me like a high school buddy. these are people I would absolutely not feel comfortable with working on my house. they have zero professionalism and I doubt they actually know what they're doing. there are plenty of other contractors that do rain gutter installation in the area call one of them. Great job great price. They didn't have to do the whole entire property which I liked because it didn't need it on certain areas there are no leaves or debris that could get in the rain gutters so they pro rated the price based on what they had to do and it worked out nice. read more
