Custom Made Gutters

I called Custom Made Gutters and Wendy, Officer Manager, answered and ask how she could be of…read moreservice. I told her I wanted a price quote to have new rain gutters installed on my 2-story home. So, Wendy scheduled Miguel to come in 2 weeks to meet and discuss the job scope and provide a cost bid. Miguel came on time and wearing a face mask. He walked the house, took measurements, did his calculations, and then provided a written price quote. He also showed us color samples and sample pieces of rain gutters he used for installations. After getting other price quotes from other rain gutter contractors, we decided to hire Custom Made Gutters. We signed the contract and included our deposit. Wendy got us scheduled onto Miguel's busy work calendar. Miguel came out as scheduled and took 1 day to do the full gutter installation. He did very professional work. All gutters had the correct slope and all joints were tight and well fitted to the house lines. Miguel cleaned up all debris and there was no extra gutter material left over. A postive demonstrated skill trait of a well experienced (20+ years) installer with good focus on providing excellent workmanship and customer service!! We were very pleased with the gutter Installation, great fit and finish for the gutter, downspouts, and leaf debris covers. We definitely would recommend Custom Made Gutters and Miguel to anyone looking for the installation of custom made rain gutters for home or business. Their price quotes are competitive and spot on. And, Wendy and Miguel are both personable, professional, and very customer focused. But, do plan ahead because their work schedule is typically booked months in advance.

I decided to go with the color of the trim only but he can do two colors to match the home walls. My home did not have icicles like my neighbors after the storm that just came through. Give him a call, Wendy will answer. He came in $200 less than a competitor and his work is great. He only took 2 hours during a very windy day.

And let me tell you, Mari, the service tech was AMAZING! I did state that I thought I needed a dryer vent cleaning, but he told me that it definitely didn't need it... Where other companies would just do it to charge you! He did a fantastic job, and was so professional, and very kind! Would recommend this company any chance I get!

We had Squeaky Clean come clean our windows about two weeks before listing our home for sale. After…read morethe technician (Eliot) left, I discovered that three of the four blinds upstairs were no longer functioning correctly. One roller blind with a bead string was snapped, one blind was stuck in the all the way up position and would not lower, and a third would open and close very crookedly. I contacted them and they sent out a manager (Kyle) to look at the blinds. He was able to fix the one that was stuck all the way up and wouldn't release, and he agreed it was caused by pulling the blinds up too far/hard. He was unable to repair the other two blinds, but said that they would send a blind repair specialist. After almost two weeks, there was finally availability in his schedule and he was supposed to arrive between 8-10AM to fix the blinds on the same morning that the house was being photographed for the real estate listing at 11AM. He no showed the appointment and after I called at 10:15 to inquire about his ETA, I was told it was due to a truck breaking down, even though this was not communicated with me. Eventually I spoke with the specialist and by the time he could arrive it would have overlapped with the photography appointment. At this point he also told me for the first time that he would not be fixing the blinds on-site, but instead they need to be taken down and brought back to their warehouse for repair and that they should have brought them in for repair two weeks prior when the issue was first flagged. At that point I couldn't have him take the blinds because it was Wednesday and the house was being listed the next day with open houses scheduled that weekend. The plan was made for him to pick up the blinds the following Monday morning, to repair and return them before the next weekend's open houses. On Monday morning I received a call from a manager that said they no longer thought they were responsible for breaking the blinds and that they were already broken before they got there. They later admitted that they did open one blind that was stuck and wouldn't release, but that they never touched the other blinds and that they were open when they got there. This is untrue, if I had prepared for the visit by opening the blinds, I would have done that for all rooms. What happened was that they came on time at 8 AM, I met Eliot and said please start upstairs, I am going outside to power wash the patio since I didn't want to get water spots on the patio door or windows after they were cleaned. It was only a few hours after he left that I went upstairs to lower the blinds and saw that 3/4 no longer worked properly. So to summarize, Squeaky Clean's position is that I waited until right before selling my house to try and trick a window cleaning company into fixing my two broken blinds, and that they did coincidentally happen to break a third one while there, that they did manage to repair, but take no responsibility for the other two. So now I am out $1000 because of $250 worth of window cleaning services and it is all happening while we have the added stress of showing our house to potential buyers. The takeaway, should you choose to do business with this company (you shouldn't), make sure to document, ideally by video the day of the service, that your blinds are in good working order. You should also supervise them while they work, and immediately check the condition of all blinds before they leave. You need to approach this like you are going to have to prove your case in front of a jury of your peers. --OR -- You could just go with a different company that isn't run by a bunch of lying crooks. Choose wisely.
