He finally says yes and that he can be at my house in 15 minutes. I asked how can you be at my house that quick when you are in Carson City and I live in Gardnerville? All he said was ok and he's coming. We agreed on 10:00am. It is now 9:55 am and he calls but leaves no message. I call him at 10:10 am to see where he is and he states he thought I live in Carson City. At this point I am upset because I have given between the two of them, Max and Matt, my address THREE TIMES, including this morning on Sunday on the phone. He has the nerve to ask me what's my problem after he spits off an incorrect address from the top of his head because he didn't write the address down. I told him I am upset at the games they have been playing, the lack of disrespect for my time, and not honoring appointment times nor properly writing down my address. He has the nerve to say he feels disrespected because he is just trying to figure this out. The crew came promptly at 7:00am each day and left before 4:00pm, all trash from the days work cleared. If you didn't see the progress on the roof you wouldn't know there was construction going on. The roof was completed on the third day as expected and looks great. I am very impressed by the completed job and professionalism of all involved. I strive to…read moreleave fair, honest reviews and as much as I prefer to leave positive reviews, it would not be fair to those reading my review to not provide the full experience. The concrete was poured November 24 & 25 in 2025. On December 11, we received a Notice of Right to Lien from the concrete supplier that Murphy's used for the project because they had not been paid for the concrete. This was a big surprise as we had paid Murphy's in full on November 25. On January 30, 2026, we received a Notice of Intent to Lien from the same supplier as Murphy's still had not paid for the materials they used on our project. On February 12, the supplier notified us that Murphy's paid the bill that day and there would be no lien placed on our property. The lesson I learned is to find out from the contractor which supplier(s) they will be using and pay them directly. To summarize my experience with Murphy's Concrete: They did good work, their customer communication could use some work, and not paying the supplier in a timely manner resulting in the customer being threatened with a lien on their property is a deal-breaker.

I recently contacted Ryan and sent pictures of the driveway where there was crack developing just in one area. Ryan said he would fix it, but I had to pay for it! I told him I felt after only 8 months that I should not be 100% liable and we needed to have a conversation. That was the last time Ryan ever acknowledged multiple texts and voicemails even after I advised him to just text me that his decision, not taking any liability, was final. He never did. Just a very poor business practice on his part and I would never do business again with him especially that I had to deal with a lien on our property!!!

This fabricated incident is not only unprofessional but also deeply damaging to the company's reputation. Such deceitful behavior is unacceptable and undermines any trust a customer might place in his services. Furthermore, the representative quoted for a drip edge that is neither required nor present on any roofs within our development. This was confirmed by two other reputable roofing companies, who both stated unequivocally that a drip edge is unnecessary. It is clear that this attempt to charge for unnecessary work is a blatant attempt to inflate costs dishonestly. His actions reflect poorly on Big Horn Roofing and suggest a disturbing pattern of deceptive business practices. I urge the company to address these issues promptly to prevent further damage to its reputation. Sharing my experience to other potential customers about the dishonest and unprofessional behavior exhibited by your company.
