This is now the second time we've done business with Silva Home Solutions, the first time I had them clean out our gutters, Andrew works very quickly and I was blown away from the amount of sediment and crud that came out of the gutters, easily 100 pounds of stuff. Andrew mentioned our gutters were quite old and that they may need to be replaced soon. He was very informative and gave me advice on things to look out for during rainy season. After the service our gutters were nice and clean and he even cleared of one of my drains that leads to the sidewalk! Be sure to be specific about what you want, it's not a professional cleaning service, it's just cleaning with glass cleaner and a flannel, which you can do it yourself. And the only thing included is the window glass, everything else will add an extra cost. I was left with poorly cleaned windows and scratches mysteriously appeared that weren't there before, even on a new window (of course they denied this). Today the technician returned to correct the work and did nothing, just said that he did not see anything and that there was nothing else to do. read more

Wow! Needed to get our underground pipeline cleared out and this was the right company to call! Firstly, Andrew was responsive to the Yelp quote request. He was one of the 1st to respond to the auto generated Yelp project manager. With much investigation, I decided to go with Silva Home Solutions. They were easy to schedule (within a week from 1st contact). Andrew sent over a price estimate to my email that needed a signature. Then when I decided to contract them, he sent over a service contract that was clear about their scope of work and what was to be expected. Jump to today (date of service), the service window was between 12-2. Brandon and Anthony arrived at 1230. They began right away. I have a foam roof, which deposits a lot of debris (similar to sand consistency) along with leaves and such into our drain pipes and into our underground drainage system. So despite no gutters, they worked so hard on flushing and vacuuming the underground drainage system. They did an amazing job! I tried to do this myself many years ago with my own power washer and shop vac. That was not enough. So grateful to have found a great company that does great work and isn't overly costly. We used Silva Hime Solutions for exterior window wash and gutter clean out. The owner and one other tech did the work and they were working diligently the entire time they were here. My home is 2 story so it wasn't an easy job. A few of the upstairs windows were not the best, but they were very hard to get to so what i got was at least way better than i started with. No need to complain about that, i appreciate their efforts. I would recommend them and use them again in the future. I also think their pricing was quite competitive and fair. I gave 4 stars due to them having to cancel our first appointment last minute due to an equipment issue and also some communication difficulties, with emails not being answered. When you meet Andrew, he comes across as a nice guy and his quotes are quite reasonable. We paid him to clean roof gutters, fix holes, put on gutter covers (he provided) and run a drainage pipe to outside the house. While doing this, he almost caused a fire. Still the initial work was done and I paid him in full with the understanding that he'll come back and fix some of the pipe adhesive. In the weeks that followed, we had water pooling under the pipes he had installed as well as water spraying out from a spot on the gutter which should have been cleaned and have gutter cover. I've sent him videos and multiple reminders of these issues and he has either not responded or keeps saying he'll come "next week". I would not recommend anyone get his services unless you want to pay double to get his work finished by someone else. read more

They completed their task and didn't pressure me into endless additional services.
