Logan came to our home and was so nice and very knowledgeable of the product and showed us a product sample which was very helpful seeing how good the leaf protection is! Joey and Luke took really good care of assisting us with our product order and installation date. Our home was not yet completed so Joey had to make an installation date change and he was so nice and did not make us feel like it was a problem. The installation team Noah and Chance were very good and skilled at their job and were very friendly and respectful while at our home. I am so impressed with this company. They got me a very fair quote and two days later I had the guards installed where we selected. They have various Colors and were able to match our tan gutters. The installed Christopher took his time to make sure everything was fitted perfectly. The next day they called to see how everything went and they are sending out a service inspector to verify everything is as it should be and even adding a section that I didn't originally include. I had somebody come on October 11 with a quote. I agreed spot on and we wrote a contract later. They said a week later the contract was undervalued and in order to move forward with everything I would need to pay the difference which I declined because I had already a contract and prepaid for the entire service. I spoke to William my sales guy, and he said that they agreed and the install would move forward and they would honor the price. On my install date October 20th I waited from noon to 4 PM because that was my window date of install. No one showed up so I called William, and he said that he would look into it to later. I found out they had canceled my booking and have not even talked about a refund. I would not recommend this company. I've called several times and no manager has gotten back to me. Exceptional Customer Service! I had my gutters installed over the summer and recently noticed some water draining from the center of one section. Since I had a one-year warranty, I called the company to check it out. When Chance and Noah (from the Reno NV office) arrived, they quickly identified that this particular section wasn't actually part of their installation, it was an existing gutter from a recent addition to my home. Even though it wasn't their work, they still took the time to take a look and offer some helpful advice. And what was contributing to the issue, all while being professional, courteous, and thorough. Gutters were not positioned properly and don't drain. Been calling every week for about 6 weeks now and constantly blown off by corporate management and local office. No one returns calls and management refuses to accept a call from a customer. Always takes a message and promises a call back and never does. Last I heard they were coming today after 6 weeks of constant calling to corporate, and no one showed up!! Very unprofessional company. Way over priced as well. They lie and say they hire veterans but I have not seen anyone but drug addicts and employees that barely speak English that offered to redo my other gutters as side jobs outside their company. They offer a warranty, but don't worry they will never come out to full fill it. Avoid this overpriced unprofessional liars and find someone else to service your home. read more

Saw these guys in Texas at the state fair. Came home to Reno and we were contacted by them. A salesman came out and gave us the traditional "act now or elese" speech, so we did. Lots of debate in how to pay, finally we agreed we'd just give them a check while they were here. A guy came out a week or two later to start the installation. He started by saying he couldn't take our payment. (Not sure why) after we figured that out, he started to clean our gutters (for about 20 minutes) then he just drove off. We called to ask what was up and we were told "he'll be right back." It's been about 8 months and needless to say he never returned and they refuse to return our calls or communicate with us at all. I (to this day) have no idea what we did wrong, but they have been less than professional, less than communicative and way less than polite. I've even tried to contact the corporate office and have been told that someone will call me back. But they don't. Next I'll leave a review with the better Better Business Bureau. Good luck if you deal with these folks. Hopefully they will be more responsive to your needs, they get a zero from me. And I'd leave zero stars if Yelp would let me. read more

Good price but lots of aggrevation to deal with. The entire process from sales to installation was fraught with errors and incompetance. The aggressive sales person got the price wrong and measured the gutters inaccurately so the job had to be done twice. The installation team showed up hours late and installed in the dark. One of the gutter dimensions was too short. The installation team itself was friendly and helpful. The scheduling manager needed constant micro managing. I left several voice messages over the course of weeks often without any response. Winter was comming and I needed the gutters installed before the snow arrived. The gutters were finally installed. However, they forgot to screw the downspout to the gutter on the second floor and it seperated upon the first rain, so water is dripping on the roof. No one responded to my calls to fix the problem at the Reno office. After a week I called the national office and they motivated the local office to service the problem 2 weeks later. read more

We put LeafFilter Gutters on the front of our house. The gutter leaked in 2 places through out the winter. Come spring when we called to have it fixed, they didn't call back. When we came acrossed a representative with a booth at an event here in town, he was able to get someone out here. Guess what? He didn't do a good job. Finally a manager came from Sacremento, CA., he fixed it properly. We signed up for gutters for the back of our house. That was 2 months ago. We called the manager fron CA., told him we haven't heard from anyone, he was angrry, apologied for the Reno office. Needless to say, we cancelled out gutters! read more

I recently wanted to get a company to do an estimate for cleaning out my rain gutters. leaf filter sent someone out who was very helpful and I decided to accept their services even though they were for more than a cleaning and for more money than I wanted to spend. Well the window I was given for the work to be done was between 12-4 on a Friday. No one showed so I called. I was told the installer was running behind and would be another hour. I am extremely disappointed with the dishonesty and the communication with this company. I felt like it was a bait and switch tactic! Jeremy started off with a quote that was a little over $5000.00 and then he dropped it to $3749.00 and then to $2404.00. He mentioned he had extra material in his warehouse and he was trying to get rid of and he was able to offer me a great deal. So we settled on that price even though it was still over $1400.00 higher than the other bid I received. What sold me is when he was describing the way the gutters were designed and that they had a 50 year workmanship guarantee. If anything goes wrong with them except for Act of God it would be protected. So I was sold on the quality and the warranty of the product. I was very upfront and honest with the representative Jeremy that came out to my home that I was just trying to get some quotes and that I had to have some painting and work done to my roof before the rain gutters could be installed and we were looking at a date like the middle to the end of June. So there was not a concrete date we decided on. So I advised him I would get back with him once we were ready to move forward. I was still trying to decide between him and the other company. I talked with my spouse and we decided to move forward with Leafliter and I advised Jeremy we decided to go with their company but I still needed time to come up with a date we wanted the project to be completed on due to the other things we had to get scheduled prior to their install, He mentioned to me no worried he will just send over the contract for me to review and just let him know when we wanted to get things scheduled. I texted him shortly after we hung up on a question I forgot to ask on the phone to get reclarification on the workmanship guarantee and he texted back 50 years. So a few hours later I received contract and he put approved over the phone and during our conversation he never went over the terms of the contract. It even had a date they were going to be out here to do the work which was the 1st week in June! I read through the contract and he had handwritten 50 year warranty on paint on the rain gutter and in the actual contract it mentioned the workmanship guarantee is only 1 year. I was shocked because on both occasions he stated it was 50 years. I even went to the website and it actually mentions lifetime warranty: https://www.leaffilter.com/purchase/warranty/ Also on this contract it mentioned I only had 3 days to cancel this contract or else I would be subject to a charge of 25% of the job total. I was flabbergasted. So I had to spend $8.00 certified mail to cancel this agreement. I cannot believe the high pressure sales and tactics and misinformation. Unacceptable. I reached out to Jeremy and left messages and he did not return my calls. I will be sure to tell my neighbors and friends to stay away from this company. I am well known throughout community. Awesome customer service from start to finish! The warranty works as advertised. After record-breaking winter here in Reno, and a series of roof avalanches that wiped out several sections of the filter screens, I placed a call to Leaf Filter for help. Turns out, the original installer didn't put enough brackets in the gutters. But on the second round, the guys straightened the gutters bent from the weight of the snow & ice, made sure they were securely attached to the house, installed brackets every 16" (like it should've been to start with), and sealed all the gutter seams to avoid leaks. They spent two days making the repairs and making sure it was all done correctly, and it only cost me for the service call - which was just fine. Can't speak to the other iffy reviews, but this customer is glad she went with Leaf Filter! read more

I would leave zero stars if I could. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY. My mother found out about Leaffilter at a craft show. The salesman came out and was nice, but employed an aggressive car salesman campaign. We should have known when he kept dropping the price over and over again and wanted only cash or check. This would have been acceptable if the product wasn't absolute trash. We mentioned possible issues with roof debri and ice/snow, and he vehemently denied those would be issues, that these were very popular in snowy locations and that they had no complaints.. yeah right. The first rain storm, they overflowed at all the valleys. Once the snow hit, it froze into an ice sheet and everything flowed over causing massive ice issues on the ground. They came out several times to try and fix but obviously there was no fix. We went back and forth for a while and they said, "well you signed the contract and they are guaranteed to prevent leaf blockage of the downspouts and nothing else". Well duh, they can't clog when nothing can get in. They finally offered to remove them for free. Deal of a lifetime right there, as we are out well over $5,000 for this horrible snake oil product from a horrible dishonest scam of a company, as well as having ruined flashing, damaged facia boards and gutters full of holes. We just got a quote from another company, who we learned is owed 10s of thousands of dollars from Leaffilter,to fix the gutters that now leak profusely. Once again, DO NOT fall for this scam like we did, no matter how good they make it sound. They absolutely should not be in business. read more

Butch is the absolute worst office manager anyone can deal with, dude sounds like he's high on something everytime he speaks. The salesman will come to your house give you a price and work so far down taking over half the price because they just want to price gouge you. Asking butch for help in the field of installing he never gives thorough advice on how to overcome obstacles just says do what you think looks okay and move on: for me that's not how a "installation manager" should be acting. The product is absolute garbage, you get debris and leaves and pine needles etc that just sit on top of the filter and block it off causing water to run over the edge and the screens to get plugged. Also, if you decide to get the filter just check over the work because none of the guys at LeafFilter do quality work, it's more about quantity. read more

WARNING in April had a Leafilter Rep come out and give a Bid ,accepted bid and was very happy that were going to install within a week because my crawl space flooded this winter and that was part of the problem. Installer came out and installed gutters and everything look fine until it rained, they did not catch any of the water it went between the roof and gutters, called customer service 5 times and they sent someone out from local office to take pictures and someone would contact me, no one got back to me. finally someone call and said that my Facia on my roof had been extended and it was my problem, I told him to talk to his boss because the estimator and the installers should have seen the problem. Why did they install them if they saw they were not going to work. He called me back 4 days later and said it would cost me around 750.00. I don't write many reviews since I generally research a company thoroughly before contacting them. I know several people who have LeafFilter Gutter Protection and love them. So I contacted them for a quote and after getting the whole spiel we set an install date. The installer that came was very nice and professional. He realigned and reinforced the gutters and securely attached the gutter guards. However, after he left I started finding screws in my yard and in my plants that he dropped, in all I found 9 screws and a few pieces of plastic (I had thrown some away before I realized there were more). It also states they will completely clean the gutters, put the debris in a bucket and take it with them. Nope, I found mounds of muddy leaves in my planter boxes (i had just cleaned out the planter boxes and getting ready to plant new flowers).and bushes, and mud splatter on a wall and window. He saw the mud on the wall and wiped it away with his hand, but left a smudge. Overall, I think he did a nice job but they need to train the employees on the proper disposal of the debris and walking the property to make sure they leave it clean and free of debris, screws and plastic. Sure the mess that was left was not extreme, however, the homeowner SHOULD NOT have to clean up after them. Would have gotten 5 stars but gave only 4 stars due to sloppiness. read more
