Mind you after I pulled in. When I contacted them, they said my door had been slightly open. Nobody informed of this, no one asked me to close it. No one informed me of the possibility of nails in my garage. I wish I could give them a better rating.

Originally, I left a 5-star review because John installed two toilets for us at a reasonable price…read more He did forget to caulk them, but he immediately came back and fixed the oversight. Unfortunately, one of the toilets has never functioned properly--it constantly runs and struggles to flush. Despite John returning several times, the problem was never resolved. We later hired John for other odd jobs, including installing a garbage disposal and fixing water backup into our dishwasher. As always, he was punctual and friendly. However, the garbage disposal was installed incorrectly, which caused new problems. He also accidentally caused some minor floor barrier damage while working in that area. To his credit, he offered to repair the damage right away, but I declined because I appreciated his willingness to help. The next day, when the water backup issue continued, we called him back. To our surprise, he asked for MORE money to revisit the SAME problem he had originally been paid to fix. Even after paying again, the issue still wasn't fixed. We ultimately had to hire another company, who immediately discovered that John had not removed the knockout plug or connected the dishwasher properly--something very basic for that type of installation. Overall, while John is personable and punctual, I cannot recommend him due to repeated problems, additional charges for unresolved issues, and ultimately needing to pay another professional to correct mistakes. Seems like an overall good guy trying to make a living but he needs to take his customers into better consideration if he would like to keep them.

Unfortunately, after their work, the leak was still there. He said there was nothing more that they could do. Since the leak was small, we decided to address this in the future. Fast forward one year later, we now have a second leak in the same area. I called 4 roofing contractors to address these 2 smaller leaks. Two never bothered to return my call. One did not show for the appointment, which did not matter because we had already met with Doug Nickerson and decided we would use them. Doug returned my call and made an appointment to look at our situation. Doug called on the day of our appointment to let me know he was running early, was that OK? Hell yes! After inspecting our roof, he was confident where and how the leak was occurring, and that they would have no problem remedying the problem. As far as scheduling, since it was such a smaller job, he said they would fit it in somewhere between jobs. Could be a week, a month, whatever. Well, two days later, I get a call from Doug saying they could get there that morning! Their guys show up, go to work on the leaks as well as give our metal roof a total screw down. They are done and gone by 1:00 pm. Two years later . . . No leaks and performing well. I have the company who will be doing any roofing work I need from now on. Very pleasant, great communicator and fantastic work. Plus an SF Giants fan for a bonus. I STRONGLY recommend them for any roofing work you have.

We got bid from two different companies and were startled by the quality difference in the bids. We made a leap of faith and went with what we considered higher quality, and chose Joe's. The day of our job, they had about 9 men working from early AM until 7 pm and finished the roof. Not only did they do an excellent job on the roof - detailed, seamless, beautiful - they also took extra care lifting our patio which was connected to the old roof to replace the shingles underneath. We were impressed with their professionalism and care of our property - they showed up and draped all of our plants to ensure they wouldn't be hit by debris, and afterward cleaned all of our gutter (spotless) and blew around the property so it was also very clean. Hard to remember when we've seen such a professional, local crew, led by a gent of a man named Gerardo. You can't go wrong with Joe's!

Ed and Shay helped develop and coordinate the project. Extra steep, three layers. Cedar shake. Everything to make it a challenge for the removal. On top of all of that there was rain, the one time we have rain this summer. It ended up being a 2 week project that they obviously had to do in between other projects. The roof came out nice and now fully vented up to code. Some suggestions for improvement for lobo: perhaps show clients shingle options before work has started. Also some communication leading up would be nice. But overall they did well on this challenging project.

He came to give me a bid, and yes i will say it was high, but i was impressed in him being punctual, knowledgeable, experienced and to the point, and as a women playing contractor on her own designed home, He did not treat me any different than any other, and did not try to make me feel inferior as other men contractors often do with female builders, this was their first with this material, and like pro's done beyond expectations, still 5 yrs later, perfect! I called him back and stated my budget , and needed to pass inspection for framing to install actual roofing , but desperatly needed water/ice layment put down asap, it was Dec. He honered the price i had for underlay install, his crew, dressed in company shirts, brought their own porta potty trailer, all men on the job efficiently installed underlayment in no time, paid and later asked him to finish and install all roofing, for a price that we both agreed on and fair. They had parts delivered, flashing etc. a reciept and not one dishonest issue or problem, nor poor work, all was done on time, quality, professionally, and to this day compliments on this unique roofing to resemble tile, now 5 years later still looks like the day installed! First experience in Spring 2025 was great, they responded and came to my house to give me a quote on roof vent replacement, tile replacement, and gutter repair. They performed the work, were on time, and had clear communication. Come Fall 2025, I called for a tile replacement because another blew off the roof. Called and spoke with lady at reception on Monday. Thursday I called back because I hadn't heard from them. Front desk lady tells me it could be 10 days. At 10 days, no one called back so I call again. She tells me "so and so" has your job and will call you. I ask when and she tells me they are in a another building and she doesn't know. The following week it rains and I have water leaking in the house. I inspect the attic and find it is coming through a vent. I go on the roof and find a flush mount vent has a gash in it, from the falling tile I called to have replaced. I muster a temporary repair and call Scott the next day and tell them I have a leak I need looked at, indicating more work. The lady assures me they will call. As of this review, Dec 2025, they never returned my phone call. My feeling is my job was too small for them to come fix. However, if they actually came to the site and went on the roof, they would have found the punctured vent, giving them additional work. Instead, I get a water leak into the house, time on the roof in the dark with the wind and rain, and possible water damage. Unappreciative of their service model and deprioritizing customers who are too small by their standards. My feeling is if I called for a roof replacement, they would have been at my door. I needed their help and service and they simply blew me off. I do not recommend calling them or using their services.

Sebby actually took the time and walk on my roof from front to back. He took pictures of the damage tiles and texted them to me. On 11/13/25 I received my proposal letter for cost of repairs. On 11/14/25 the roof repairs started and was completed in about 3 hours. It took seven days to repair my roof from the day I called. Just in time before the rain started.
