This roofing contractor, out of dozen licensed contractors of differenct trades, who i hired, as an owner builder, Yet Giant is 1 only 5 total contractors, that i would ever refer. He came to give me a bid, and yes i will say it was high, but i was impressed in him being punctual, knowledgeable, experienced and to the point, and as a women playing contractor on her own designed home, He did not treat me any different than any other, and did not try to make me feel inferior as other men contractors often do with female builders, this was their first with this material, and like pro's done beyond expectations, still 5 yrs later, perfect! I called him back and stated my budget , and needed to pass inspection for framing to install actual roofing , but desperatly needed water/ice layment put down asap, it was Dec. He honered the price i had for underlay install, his crew, dressed in company shirts, brought their own porta potty trailer, all men on the job efficiently installed underlayment in no time, paid and later asked him to finish and install all roofing, for a price that we both agreed on and fair. They had parts delivered, flashing etc. a reciept and not one dishonest issue or problem, nor poor work, all was done on time, quality, professionally, and to this day compliments on this unique roofing to resemble tile, now 5 years later still looks like the day installed! Highly recommend Giant Roofing. We had our entire roof replaced, underlayment paper (ice & shield) and new tile, flashing, and new chimney cap that needed to be fabricated. We had 3 bids for our job. Giant was the least expensive but that wasn't our determining factor as we wanted to be sure the job was done correctly and by who we felt was best for the job. My first point of contact with Giant Roofing was with Jose. He came out to home and we walked the property discussing the job. Jose was extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind. His organizational skills were impressive. We'd have conversations about certain things and he never forgot one thing. Once we went into contract with Giant Roofing we had to choose our tile. Fernando offered to bring us samples to our home on a Saturday so my husband could be there. Fernando is a foreman, he is also very knowledgeable, professional and kind. I was also impressed he offered to come on a Saturday morning to our house to make it easier for us. Once the tile came in, we set the job start date. Every morning they brought out a portable potty for the workers and every day end, they took portable potty away. They protected our driveway when they were unloading the pallets of tile. They cleaned up daily, using a machine to find nails. The roof workers worked really hard every day, even during that week of an extreme heat wave. Everyone was friendly with a "good morning" and smile. Not that that is important for their work but it was something I certainly acknowledged. Whenever I had a question, either Fernando or Jose (and sometimes both) would answer right away. Communication was great. Fernando came out again on a Saturday (per his suggestion not my request) to help with a strange corner of flashing that needed to be addressed for our new gutters going up after roof was complete. When we had to evacuate during the fire, no vendors were allowed in our community, they never complained about the delay and were actually only concerned for us and our neighbors. They always went the extra mile for us. They didn't just say they care about their customers, they showed they cared. Lupe who works the front desk and phones (and more) was always patient with my questions re payments, and always professional and kind. Not once did I ever feel I was getting the runaround. We would never hesitate to hire Giant in the future. They are a local family business. Our roof looks great. We've had rain and snow since, no leaks! Very happy customers. Forgot to mention, Giant Roofing is a great company as far as being a team player as well. We also had our entire home re-stuccoed and new windows. There's a certain process in which each step needs to be done and sometimes that meant simultaneously, they never complained, they always assured me it was no problem. read more

This review is for their quick response and their timely arrival for an roof fix estimate. We really appreciate them coming out quickly and giving us a "ball park" figure for an estimate. Their figure was inline with others that I received but it was not a written estimate therefore, I went with another company to fix the roof. We gave them the email address and even called them to get a written estimate so that we could move forward but we never received it. The spam file was checked and nothing there either. We waited a couple weeks and then had to make a decision to move forward with another company. We really wanted to try out this company as we have rentals that need roof work at times but we will give them another shot at another time. This Company came out and quoted me for 20 "broken" tiles on my roof and to replace 2 fascia board for $2,100. They lied about the entire thing! My husband and I went on the roof and only found 3 broken tiles and since then we've had 3 other roofers come out and tell us neither of the two fascia board s needed replacement. I've lived in Fallon for the last 6 years, and i can't begin to say how thankful i am for being referred to Giant Roofing from a local chat group. My roof was damaged from a leaking swamp cooler. My husband and i are seniors and cannot climb ladders and would rely on our Local air conditioning guys who would come out in spring and fall to set the cooler up summer and for winterizing. After 5 years of using this air conditioning company, iam told by a young worker last April that the roof was mushy around the air cooler. He said he had thought we knew about this. He said its been that way ever since he and fellow workers came out to service the swamp cooler, and yet no one said anything until this last visit in April 2022. So, 6 years go by, and no one told us we had an issue with our roof. I was by then so upset and seriously thinking, iam done with these "I just don't care about your stuff people"and told the young worker enough is enough and to disconnect the cooler as water started leaking through to my dining room! I I contacted this Local business and the woman there said she would remind her workers to let the customers know when they saw something wrong, and that was it! Not sorry or anything. just not right! So, when i found out about Giant roofing in Sparks, I contacted Jose who immediately got the ball rolling, but i still needed to come up with the money to pay for this big project. Not everybody has 14,000 in their savings for a new roof. We had to take out a large loan to start the project. We are both in our 70's and our savings is gone now to Living off paycheck to paycheck is definitely not what we thought would be happening in our Golden years. But.... Jose and his crew came out and got the roof up in 1 day and its a beautiful roof He was very easy to talk with and his crew made sure all the old materials from the roof were disposed of. Very nice & respectful too! I contacted Giant Roofing to have my 21 year of tile rook checked. They took pictures of everything that need repaired and gave me a bid. VERY reasonable. There was one area they thought would need to have new wood put down. They arrived and started the job, we did need the new plywood in the one area I thought we had a leak. Job done everything clean up. We were very please. After a few days had passed I noticed that a few nails in the new area had come all the way through and sticking out. I sent them a picture this morning saying we were a little concern leaving them that way. 4 hours later they sent two workers over to cut them off and apologized for leaving them!!! Jose and his team did an excellent job to repair my roof in August of this year. I received three quotes. His price was not the lowest, but it was very competitive. The roof tiles are more than 20 years old so it is hard to find the new tiles with exact matching color. When standing outside and looking at the roof, he discovered that one area of the roof is invisible. He suggested to take 20+ tiles from that area to replace 20+ broken tiles in different areas of the roof and then install the new tiles on that invisible area. I really like his smart approach. He did a thorough inspection after his workers performed the repair. He sent his workers back several times to do corrections. His honesty and integrity have earned my trust. My painter spilled red paint across several of my roof tiles. I called Giant Roofing and Jose called me back shortly after even though it was a holiday. He came to look at the damage the next day exactly when he said he would. Very nice & polite. My roof tiles are 20 years old so there was no way he was going to be able to fjnd an exact match.
