Screens roll smoothly into the housing, lots of torque pulling the screens back, they have a latching system (not a lock), and look great too. Danny's first Crawl Space inspection led him to guestimate was there was $5,000-$6,000 of damage, but there was no way to know for sure without removing the exterior wall. After Danny thought about it for a couple weeks before he came to work on the house, he came up with a stroke of genius. Instead of removing the exterior siding, he cut a hole in the floor by the damaged Floor Joists so he could easily reach the damage without multiple trips through the crawl space. Then instead of replacing a 6+ foot length of Floor Joist, he nailed 8"x2" pressure treated wood bracing on either side of the Floor Joists and backed-up 4 Rim Joists with 8"x2" pressure treated wood. He also screwed into the foundation sidewall pressure treated 2"x4" wood side bracing support from the foundation footing to the bottom of four Floor Joists. He did this all in one day (with a helper) at a cost of $1,000 instead of his original guestimate of $5K-$6K. Danny is a Genius, hard worker, and very honest!

They were polite and informative but unfortunately were not able to come to terms with my insurance adjuster due to a lack of sufficient information requested by the insurance company. Contacted another company through Yelp and do have an agreement. Just a heads up, their quote was right on target with my insurance company where Mills Roofing was significantly higher.

Unfortunately, their bid was a full $15,000-20,000 higher than literally any other bid I received (BEFORE any additional labor charges) which is honestly, complete insanity. The other 5 companies I got bids from were respected, highly reviewed business also -- it's not like I'm comparing Mills to unlicensed, under the table deals. And I'm just a normal residential homeowner, ~1400sqft of roof, not even like a giant industrial complex! For that reason alone Mills was immediately out of the running. I'm sure they do great work based on these reviews, but you'll certainly pay for it.

Unfortunately, one of the toilets has never functioned properly--it constantly runs and struggles to flush. Despite John returning several times, the problem was never resolved. We later hired John for other odd jobs, including installing a garbage disposal and fixing water backup into our dishwasher. As always, he was punctual and friendly. However, the garbage disposal was installed incorrectly, which caused new problems. He also accidentally caused some minor floor barrier damage while working in that area. To his credit, he offered to repair the damage right away, but I declined because I appreciated his willingness to help. The next day, when the water backup issue continued, we called him back. To our surprise, he asked for MORE money to revisit the SAME problem he had originally been paid to fix. Even after paying again, the issue still wasn't fixed. We ultimately had to hire another company, who immediately discovered that John had not removed the knockout plug or connected the dishwasher properly--something very basic for that type of installation. Overall, while John is personable and punctual, I cannot recommend him due to repeated problems, additional charges for unresolved issues, and ultimately needing to pay another professional to correct mistakes. Seems like an overall good guy trying to make a living but he needs to take his customers into better consideration if he would like to keep them.

It's a 12-year-old roof with 3-tab shingles, and I thought I would need a roof replacement because those shingles are no longer made, and I couldn't find them anywhere locally. David, the owner, came out, and instead of giving me an estimate for a new roof, he said he would try to find shingles and repair it. Within 24 hours, he located shingles and repaired the roof. The only replacement shingles he could get were brown, so he painted them after attaching them. If you look at this picture, you'll see that it's dang hard to see which shingles are the replacement ones. Comparing High Mountain to other roofing companies, two companies gave me email estimates for a new roof without even coming out, and a third company said they could repair it, but the estimate was $2,500 because they wanted to add a roofing treatment, which I considered unnecessary. My bill with High Mountain Roofing was less than $700. I am elated!

I called several more times and left messages giving a few days in between. I finally called from my work phone and he answered and I told him I had not received a quote yet and verified my email address. He admitted he had not sent it out and would get it out within a couple days. I never received it and he did not respond to my last message on vm. I feel like I dodged a bullet. Imagine if you needed to call for an installation issue or repair. He might just avoid you. I even told him when I got him on the phone from my work line that if he couldn't do the job it was okay, just let me know so I can move on. I just think that is a sign of what you might get for a follow up. So my suggestion for improvement is don't be afraid to say that you are not right for that particular job. It happens and then there would not be a reason to review. Disappointed because I like to support local businesses. If there was a zero star I would give that for the lack of respect to customer.

The price quote for all twelve of our windows was approximately 1/3 of the price quoted for only 8 windows. Eagle proceeded to do the work, and we are extremely pleased with the result. Eagle was easy to work with and very helpful in researching what kind of Andersen windows we wanted - we got different glass types for different facing windows which makes our house cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. It has been two years now and we couldn't be happier. Our electric bill is much lower and we have had no problems whatsoever. Installation was quick and professional. All our neighbors commented on how good our windows looked. Eagle Windows and Doors did a wonderful job and the value was outstanding. They certainly deserve the highest rating!

In the after photo, it's the tiny spot in the center of the photo - it looks more like a spot on the center lower half of the door to the house. If I am ever unlucky enough to need a windshield repaired or replaced again, my first call will be to Olivia.
