I pulled over in the first parking lot I could find and opened Yelp to help me find something. I'm telling you all of this because I ended up walking into Le Drip and ordering the "Egg Coffee", knowing nothing about it. Now, I've been on this earth for a minute and I've drank a lot of coffee. This is among the best coffee drinks I've ever had. Certainly the best I've had in recent memory. What I'm saying is it's in the running for the best coffee drink I've ever had. The egg cream is thick and eggy, which I loved. The coffee itself is bold with a strong coffee taste. The cream is dusted with a heavy shake of cinnamon and it all melded together into a delicious concoction that I couldn't get enough of. If you're looking for a memorable coffee drink, I would recommend giving this spot a shot. Tell 'em Big D sent you.

The famous Egg Coffee didn't stand out at all from all the praise it receives. I expected a rich, creamy coffee experience, but I couldn't find any coffee essence at all. The lychee flavor completely overpowered matcha, making it hard to enjoy the drink. Overall, it was a good try but it wasn't cup of coffee.

Their fruit teas are also delicious, although I would definitely recommend reducing the sugar level to allow the tea flavor to shine through. The size of their drinks is also perfect for me; large enough to enjoy but small enough to not be overwhelming. At this location you can order at the kiosk or at the cashier, which helps to expedite the line especially when it gets busy. You could consider studying here, especially with its notably large tables, however seating is limited and it can get loud during rush hour. After reading everyone's review I still give me a chance to trying this place out and a lots of my friends said something about this place ( not a good thing) but I still decided to try out since they opened. Here are what I got 1. House Milk Tea (1/5) Seriously, never try some milk tea like this before, specially in Bellaire and china town where a lots tapioca house there. It was tasted not thing I mean it was very watered down, tasted like just tea and sugar not creamy enough. This is the one made me very disappointed 2. Matcha Green Tea (2/5) Like everyone said about this, it was very light tea tasted like more creamy than tea which I like more stronger tea. 3. Tropical paradise (3/5) It was okay but still lacking some flavor, very light flavor of tropical, they simply using green tea to make this drink which I recommend black tea better and minus they cut fruit very small pieces which make fruit gone bad very quick. 4. Cha-mango (2/5) Not like what I expected before this one opened I already tried some places in Bellaire where I prefer better than this one. When they brought me mango it was like they've been made it 10-15mins ago. It was melting out and I really don't like they used frozen mango for topping instead of fresh mango plus they cut them very small pieces. 5. Atmosphere and location (4/5) Very nice decorated and clean with front patio Overall, drinks were not like I expect in this place plus its kind of over prices ( I only ordered small cup but 4 drinks its cost me around $19). In Bellaire there are many tapioca house there and there some big franchise tea house as well so if you don't have a very good drinks so you have to be very reasonable prices to competitive with others. I would not order these items again but I might come back to try other drinks. read more

First time reviewing. Chinatown Houston is one of the few places where you can have 20 different tapioca spots within one location. This makes competition very high. Magic Cup has a unique concept that only one other place in Chinatown has and that is a drive through. There were roughly about 8 employees working at one time. The wait time was roughly 5 minutes after ordering our drinks. We ordered the Cha-Mango, Cha-Watermelon, White Chocolate Frap, Milk Tea with Tap/Pudding, and Popcorn Chicken. The Cha-Mango/Watermelon had a good and unique flavor, but the flavoring on the straws were definitely out there. The White Chocolate Frap was probably similar to a McFrappe at McDonalds. All I could really taste was the coffee really. The Milk Tea was probably one of the worse Milk Tea's I have ever tasted. It was very watered down and tasted like diluted milk. For any Tapioca store, you have to nail the Milk Tea recipe. Its one of those basic things that you have to get down if you are going to compete. Popcorn Chicken was good, but not great for $6. When you have Boba Zone charging $4 and Kims charging $5, youd expect better flavor for the 20-33% extra you are paying. I will rate 2 stars as the architect and design of the location are very trendy and modern. It gives a very bright feeling unlike a few other places. I can see myself sitting in there for hours working. When comparing against all the other Tapioca places in Chinatown, Magic Cup definitely falls on the lower end of the spectrum. The B2G1 Free right now makes it worth it for around $3 a cup right now, but when prices go back to $5, the competitors will take the cake. read more

This is one of the place to STUDY!!! My boyfriend and I always come here to study b/c they have free wifi, printer(fee charge), drinks, snacks, and games!! I always get The Cha-Guava drink because it's soooo refreshing and the mix of that spicy into the drink is just a Bomb!!! I have tried their popcorn chicken, Kimchi fries and Asian garlic wings. The Popcorn Chicken tastes good and juicy, but it was too little portion even I ordered a large. The Kimchi Fries tastes also good, a little too spicy that to my tastes, but they don't have the option to add beef which I feel missing. Well, I would probably dislike the Asian Garlic Wings, because I can tell that they're using old wings, and the tastes is too powerful, too garlicky and they pour the sauce in the serving plate wayy too much, like soup!! TIPS: +Download their app (TapMango) to get points +Bring your headphones if you're planing to study, it gets loud sometimes +You can check out iphone or android charger, just bring the card on the shelf to the employee and trade in one valuable thing. read more

Horrifying Experience - Found a Huge Bug After Finishing My Drink! I'm beyond disgusted by my visit to Magic Cup. I ordered a drink and didn't notice anything wrong until I finished it--only to find a massive bug on top of the ice! I was absolutely horrified and couldn't believe what I was seeing. I immediately showed the staff and expected a full refund. However, they refused, citing some ridiculous "store policy" that doesn't allow full refunds, even in such an appalling situation. Offering only a partial refund after serving a drink with a bug in it is completely unacceptable. If this is how they handle serious food safety issues, the public needs to know. Cleanliness and customer service should be their top priorities, but clearly, that's not the case here. I will never return, and I strongly advise anyone who values hygiene and respectful treatment to avoid this place at all costs. read more

I recommend people to come and enjoy fresh drinks in the morning. I drank Cha-mango at this place in the afternoon, and it tasted SOOO good. In the other day, I came back at night and got that same drink, but I was disappointed! My favorite drink was really bad! It's so sweet that I can't even feel the mango flavored. The mango wasn't fresh as it was in the morning, and I don't even know how much sugar did they put in my lovely cup. So in my opinion, You should come to hang out early before the night comes.
