One of the best tea shops in Houston! They don't need to prove anything to you, they don't need crazy advertising or always show up on social media. They simply care for the tea leaves, the hidden brown sugar note in their milk tea No.5 (if you like "dry" milk tea, give it a try) Tips: I always adjust my sugar level to 50% and add boba to balance the sweetness. Tho I quite like boba from Fengcha better, it is still very uniquely chewy and tasty. Milk tea No.3 is more milky and less tea flavor, and milk tea No.2 is just like green milk tea IMO so not very impressed with No.2 I have tried their cheese milk tea as well and would recommend it. It reminds me of cheese foam tea/milktea so if that's something you like go for it. Their mango tea is very refreshing, pair it with housemade fruit jelly for a perfect combo. The peach tea is a little strange to taste imo. Not sure if that's just very authentic or artificial... Overall, very good and unique drink recipes you can't find elsewhere. I went here because it was recommended to me and rightfully so. It was actually a different take on bubble tea and that's because they actually add in pandan jelly pieces. I tried the green collection which was like a Thai green tea with some jellies and tiny bobas, it came with all of those toppings already and costed about $8. I've been to many Vietnamese-owned boba stores before, and would say the majority of them try to imitate the classic Taiwanese boba taste. Well not JTea. I ordered the Classic Milk Tea to see how they would pull off such a conventional drink and was very impressed by how different it tasted in the best way possible. The milk tea was very sweet and smooth, with just a touch of creaminess. I don't know what type of black tea is used here but the flavor is very complex. A little malty and honey-like, I have not tasted anything like it. It's for this reason alone that I keep wanting to come back to get this one of a kind drink. The Thai Green Tea also really impressed me. It is insanely sweet so I recommend dialing down the sweetness, but whatever blend of green tea they used to make this drinks is super tasty and pleasant. I have had this boba shop called JTea in bellaire on my list of places to try for a long time but have never had the chance to go to. Finally, I was able to try it and I'm so glad I was able to. They're known for green milk tea, which is basically a Thai green milk tea. You can tell you're in a Vietnamese establishment the moment you walk in. They have Vietnamese music and radio playing, the really low tables with stools found on the streets of Vietnam, and a bunch of snacks for sale. They have a lot of exotic drinks that are usually hard to find as well. I got their signature green milk tea with milk jello. They also added some matcha jello as well even though it wasn't listed on the menu. The green milk tea is so good. It has a strong tea flavor, with the common floral taste of Thai green milk tea, not too bitter, and most importantly, delicious. This boba shop was a bit out of the way for me, but it's just down Bellaire Blvd. I came here in the afternoon on a week day, and there was still a line! I was so surprised. Parking was easy to find, just not directly in front of JTea. They have a small lot shared with other businesses. So my sister made me do it y'all. She works by their 1960 location and has been RAVING about how good the yogurt aloe Vera drink is and FOMO got the best of me. I had to go try it for myself. The store is relatively small and there is not really any seating available- just some stools off to the side for customers to wait for their orders. My yogurt aloe Vera drink came out super quick, less than 2 minutes after ordering. The fried chicken feet took awhile to come out though. It was about a 10-15 minute wait for those. I wish they had told me that when I ordered, I would have just tried it next time. Price for both the chicken feet and the aloe Vera yogurt drink are reasonable. Aloe Vera Yogurt Drink 4.5/5 super yummy, I will definitely be back to get it again BUT there is a good amount of ice in there so next time I'll probably request light on ice. Also this is not a light drink either. It's more of a light dessert. Fried chicken feet 3/5 at first glance, presentation is great and coloring is on point. But once I plopped one in my mouth - i immediately thought of Regular hot Cheetos. That's what the flavoring reminds me of lol. It's not spicy at all.. just tastes like hot Cheetos. One of the busiest and most unabashedly unapologetically Viet dessert places in the city. They don't really cater to anything except delicious Vietnamese goodness. I have a man crush on this extremely popular Vietnamese drink place, they definitely have a style all of their own - and if you want Vietnamese milk products, especially the kind that drive the kids crazy, then this is a great place to go. We've tried the milk teas and the coffees, but the standout is always the Thai Green Milk Tea here for us. They have lovely decor here as well which makes for great photographs but their real strength is two things. Firstly their customer service is excellent and some of the girls are way too friendly to me that I start getting excited. Secondly it's all about their biggest seller on the menu which is a Thai green milk tea with milk jelly inside it and it's really really good. I mean I don't like Thai green milk tea so it's never going to be my thing. But out of all of the versions of this drink that people seem to be obsessed with across all of the Vietnamese places with trendy drinks in Houston I would say this is the only one which I would actually order again. In fact I kinda crave it, low key crave it, don't tell pls. And it's that milk jelly tho. Very interesting operation. JTea has a unique way to serve Green Milk Tea with Milk Jello. It took me 2 visits to realize why people kept complaining about the quantity. The drink is a reverse version of boba tea. The topping is Panna Cotta, a cream-based jello dessert of Italy, as I was told by an employee. Unlike other boba teas, which toppings are sinkers. These jello cubes are actually on top of drink; However, it's propped by full cup of ice. This is major complaint about not full cup of drink when asked no ice. My first time here was during the day. It's not easy to locate JTea but I learned a trick. It's right across from Alief Community Park and the mall has lots of matured palm trees. (Well, it was before Winter Storm Uri when they were alive.) My second visit was at night a week after the storm. I didn't like night time visit at all. Not to mention the landmark was invisible, the parking lot was very dark to me. So much so I fear for my life. Clientele was much younger. These 2 visits were only to claim my drinks from BobaFANatic, a fundraising event for OCA Greater Houston. I would return for other unique milk teas once restaurant opens for dine in. read more

After a delicious lunch down the street, we stopped by JTea, specifically for their signature 'Green Collection' drink. It was highly recommended that I don't change any sweetness or ice levels, and get it as is. And OH EM GEE.. LOVED IT! Wow, major drinkgasm with each sip.
