    Thai Tea Snow Ice
    Duyen T.

Been coming here for awhile now and decided to comeback after I haven't gone in while. The staff are usually really nice and friendly. The space is clean with lots of seating. I usually come for the Thai Tea Shaved Iced and Kravin's Fries but was disappointed in the quality. The Thai Tea Shaved Iced was super sweet and for some reason had a gummy sticky texture. The Kravin's fries were okay, nothing special. Overall, a decent place and nothing special.

Kravin Fruit Bar is a hidden gem. It's in the Kim Son strip center in Chinatown. It's very casual and a great place for snacks and dessert. Desserts . Their Thai tea ribbon shaved ice is next-level amazing. It's easily one of the best ribbon shaved ice desserts. I topped mine with mango pudding and fresh strawberries, and the combo was perfection. The condensed milk drizzle adds just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the other flavors. Every spoonful was pure joy. The service was friendly and fast .

Kravins a go to spot for me when I want something quick to eat while studying. It is a staple in Chinatown where many of the students love to hang out. The restaurant is spacious with lots of seats and outlets, as well as good internet. Service here is always great, if they mess up an order they are always willing to make you a new one. Milks teas are always good, boba is always fresh The best things on the menu are the kravin fries and the popcorn chicken. I would recommend those to everyone that would give this place a try. Give Kravins a try!

I was tired of houston weak coffee. Came here to order Vietnamese coffee. Legit strong French roast with condensed milk. Coffee was small but very strong the way i like it. Lootts of fruit drinks to choose from. Fun cafe felt like happy lemons cute design matched with itea casual loudness. Open late nights. Located in outdoor mall. Plenty of parking space. Staff was nice and approachable.

This place is fantastic! I came here with a friend and ordered - Kravin Fruit Tea with Boba - Orange Green Tea - Kravin Fries with Egg - Egg Rolls Both drinks tasted refreshing but what I loved about the Kravin Fruit Tea is that all pieces of fruit were fresh and didn't have the soft texture like old fruit typically does. Not to mention, the watermelon was cut up in cute little balls and this drink had a variety of other fruits like strawberry, mango, and grape. As for the boba, it was cooked perfectly and went well with the Fruit Tea. Aside from the drinks, we got the Kravin Fries with egg and Egg Rolls. The egg rolls were hot & crispy and had a savory inside with pork and veggies. The sweet chilli sauce went perfectly with the egg rolls. As for the Kravin Fries, this was the star of the show. The combo of spicy mayo sauce, beef, kimchi, and cilantro is unbeatable. And with the fried egg, when you break the egg yolk on top of the fries with the additional toppings that were just mentioned, it was *chef's kiss*. Overall, this is such a great spot to hang out with friends for drinks and food. The servers were incredibly nice and had our food/drinks ready within minutes. Can't wait to come back and try their Bahn Mi's next!

Nice lil cafe and boba tea place that has been around for some time. They're more old school than some of these hip trendy boba tea establishments, but they do a nice job without the lines, and with more seating. The yogurt drinks seem to be a popular option here. The pricing isn't as high as some other places for boba tea, and the product is fine, but it's not my favorite boba tea. The taste was forgettable. One can also grab fresh fried shareable snacks including fries, wings, shrimp, egg rolls, and more. Delivery is available through different services, so that's a nice option if you live nearby.

Friendly atmosphere, good customer service , great teas, bobas and they serve the viral shaved ice I've been so excited to try! Also got the fish balls & tofu snack (not pictured) comforting and yummy. Visiting from Nashville, TN & will stop here a few more times before we leave.

Cute decor, clean space, and friendly staff. We came here after dinner looking for sweets. They had sweet banana chips, Boba, and shaved ice with fruit and ice cream. We had the shaved ice with fruit and ice cream, and it hit the spot. My friend bought the banana chips and let me tell you they're addictive! If you're looking for a sweet drink or a sweet treat i recommend you try this place!

    Ethan L.

I got the avocado smoothie with coffee jelly and it was delicious. I would recommend lowering the sweetness level to a bit less than what you usually get with your drinks since the coffee jelly adds just the right amount of sweetness. There is a fair amount of seating available and is spacious along with fairly quick service, and good Wi-Fi. Overall, this was a great study place for my friends and I.

Stopped by Kravin one day as I was in the area and got a Thai tea. I'm personally not too picky when it comes to Thai tea so this was delicious and satisfied my Kraving for it All jokes aside the tea was delicious, the staff were extremely friendly, and the location itself was kept clean. Overall if you're already in the shopping center, it worth just walking down to get a tea from them.

Kravin' is amazing! I got the Kravin' fruit tea, and it's super refreshing. The tea taste isn't really there which is something I prefer, and there are lots of snacks that you can order as well. I came here another time and got a yogurt smoothie which was also good, and you can tell that they use real fruit! The service is pretty good, usually the drinks come out in under 5 minutes. A lot of people come here to get schoolwork/work done here, and it's not too quiet, but it's not too loud either. Sometimes the place gets chilly so I would bring a jacket, but it could be hot too so don't dress too warm. Parking is relatively easy since it's in a huge parking lot, though since this area is popular you may not get a parking spot immediately. Overall, love the vibes here and definitely recommend going here whether you want to get work done or hang out with friends :)

After an amazing lunch, I had a craving for something sweet, so I was super happy to see Kravin' a couple of doors down. I appreciated the artistic vibe of the spot, I could easily see myself enjoyable myself here solo or with a group. Today's weather was chilly, so I wanted a hot Thai tea. It seemed as if this isn't a regular order as my server appeared confused, however, he was able to provide my drink of choice. I also noticed that Kravin' also offered some quick bites which had vegan and pescatarian options, which I loved. I was pleasantly surprised that although I asked for sweetened, the sweetness was not overwhelming. I do wish that my tea was hotter, but since I think this is not a typical request, I appreciated the efforts of the staff and will definitely return!

Kravin never disappoints! I've been going here for years and just realized I've never done a review! I went recently to catch up with some friends and got their kimchi fries and The orange strawberry green tea (my regular). I really do think this is one of the better boba/kimchi fries places I've been too! It's also just so reminiscent of high-school days and very good for studying or hanging out with friends! This place does get packed tho, so it's pretty much luck when you can find a table. Definitely try it out for yourself, I've been coming back for years!

Thought the bluefin toro were fresh as well as the Uni. Wasn't expecting so was pleasantly surprised. For our mains, we ordered the twice cooked pork and beef galbi. The lounge like ambiance, along with their diner-like menu, is a major selling point for folks and has been one of the reasons for their popularity over the better part of the last two decades. It is a bit trendy and plays music that you would think of and in a Miami lounge or a pretentious New York Club. While service is not their strong suit, the clean bathrooms, spacious seating, and semi-open kitchen makes up for some 'tudes from the staff. The menu is most definitely Asian, but blends from a predominantly Chinese menu and featuring various Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese items. The latter includes sushi, which is likely one of the only spots in the neighborhood that still has it after midnight. They have bluefin tuna and sea urchin, in which Cafe 101 is one of the only late night spots to offer it. Their beef chow fun is nice and greasy, but filled with excessive onions, bean sprouts, and various other veggies that almost take away from the noodles and beef (which was nicely cooked). Their shrimp and egg came in a nice set, which was a good surprise and surprisingly well executed. This is also a spot for Japanese curry, and even though it's not the best, it most certainly does the job. Taiwanese popcorn chicken is on point, cumin lamb is unsurprisingly spicy, and Singapore chow mai fun has a tinge of solid wok hei. (#1) I'm genuinely not a fan of their soups and think the sushi rolls are not their best work. While they also have milk, tea options, unless one is desperate, I would also steer clear of. Parking in the early evening can be an issue at Don Huang Plaza, but after 11pm, the parking options should be abundant. I would consider coming here in a larger group, especially with late night owls. ___________ (#1) Wok's essence (鑊氣)

The inside is mostly white and going for that IG "it spot" vibe. Most people were ordering their drinks that come with a little slice of tiramisu, but we were there to try just the latter! I tried the Biscoff Tiramisu-- while they could work on their presentation (the filling looked messy and slapped on), the taste was quite nice! Sweet, creamy, and the mascarpone filling was light and not too heavy despite being sweet and indulgent. I'm excited to try the other tiramisu varieties :D I like how the tiramisu comes in its own container instead of scooped into a takeout box because it's a lot less messy + prettier when eating it. One of my favorite little spots to grab a matcha! I love the insane variety of matchas they have on…read morethe menu because apparently having just one or two good options would be far too easy. And if I'm with my boyfriend, he always spoils me and allows me to get 2 (one for the next day, of course)! One of my favorites is the Biscoff Banana Pudding Matcha. It's basically a dessert and a pick-me-up in one, so obviously I'm going to support that kind of decision-making. It's creamy, sweet, and with the crunchy textures, it's just such a fun combination. The other thing I am OBSESSED with here is the croffles! Easily one of the best I've ever had. They're super fresh, buttery, and have the perfect texture. But honestly, the cream they put on top is what really gets me. It's not overly sweet or super heavy, which I appreciate because I would like to enjoy my dessert without downing a whole glass of water... or maybe... a matcha? lol My boyfriend and I like coming here every now and then and sharing a croffle (because apparently we are capable of sharing things), and we love the indoor and outdoor seating areas too. It's such a cute little spot to hang out, grab a drink, eat something sweet, and just chill. Now for the one downside: the parking. If you know, you know. The parking situation is... less than ideal, especially considering this is Bellaire. But honestly, if you're coming here to grab a drink, eat, play on the claw arcade, and get a dessert, I'd say it's worth surviving the parking chaos. Pro tip: CALL AHEAD AND ASK IF THEY STILL HAVE CROFFLES! I learned this lesson the hard way. One time, I brought a large group of friends here after dinner specifically so everyone could try the croffles... only for us to find out they had just run out. SAD! You can imagine my devastation after hyping them up. They actually felt really bad and told us that we could call ahead next time to check if they still had any available, which I thought was incredibly nice of them. So now I'm passing that wisdom along because I refuse to let anyone else experience the heartbreak of arriving croffle-less. Overall, such a cute spot with great matcha, delicious croffles, and a fun little atmosphere. Just prepare yourself mentally for the parking situation and CALL AHEAD FOR THE CROFFLES!!!

I will say, the tea here is very good. They actually sell tea, rather than just sugar water. You can taste it. And for that, I appreciate this place. I tried their Alpine Green Tea with boba.
