Lychee Yakult/Yogurt (Creamy Yakult) and Green Tea Yakult/Yogurt (Creamy Yakult)
Carrie M.

I thought the Yakult/yogurt drinks were unique, and my friend I came with really likes the green tea Yakult drink. I opted for the lychee, which unfortunately tasted very artificially sweet. They can't adjust the sweetness level of their Yakult drinks, so I guess that's just the flavour of the lychee drink. I am normally a very big fan of lychee, so it was a bit disappointing. The golden boba is a sweet tapioca with brown sugar, which I like a lot more than regular tapioca, but some boba shops just use it as their regular tapioca, and to me those were a lot more flavourful than this one. The smaller drink size was $6, and the design of the cup looks like a business card. The space is very large for a boba shop with plenty of tables that look nice for studying or working.

Cute little place to hang out. They have board game and food as well. I used to like their boba a lot more, I think my taste slightly changed. Their milk tea has a less strong tea flavor than I would like but their boba has a nice texture. The workers are always very nice and let you take your time even if they're busy. And the shop has a lot of natural lighting.

Peach green tea "less ice"

I ordered a peach green tea, split cup with less ice....idk about yall but the entire cup was basically ice.. Let me clarify: First of all, this was a Togo order so I was not present during pick up to "let staff know" Secondly, it did not come to my attention there was this much ice in the drink until I drank the drink Thirdly, I never stated that the amount of drink I received in the cup was the issue. The main issue is that I ordered less ice and did not receive less ice as you can see in the picture. Lastly, I am extremely disappointed in how management attempted to resolve this issue as displacing it as consumer fault.

Stopped for some quick boba, the service and ambience is great but as a new-ish spot they could still perfect the flavors. Ordered the brown sugar and matcha milk tea. The size of the regular is too small in my opinion compared to the other boba spots nearby, however they had constant ebb and flow of customers so they do have regulars. I'd come back and give this spot another try just because they had clean restrooms, fast service and a chart for varying sugar/ice level which was convenient when ordering.

I've enjoyed this Ding Tea ever since they opened in Sugar Land. Conveniently located off of Highway 6, I've frequented this location pretty regularly. I especially love coming on what I call "Ding Tea Mondays", a promotion that's been going on for a while where you get a free upgrade on your drink. My favorite drink has been the coffee milk tea with coffee jelly (additional topping). I love the wide open space inside, but it does get a bit loud inside depending on who's there. Will definitely continue coming back when I'm craving tea.

The signature milk tea is very bland (tastes like bitter water). Also the service was horrible it took 15 minutes just for one drink and it wasn't even busy. I would not come here again!

One of my favorite places to get boba in Sugar Land. Their boba balls are consistent, chewy and soft. The interior is clean and bright. Perfect for a place to study/work or hang out with friends. The only downside is service may be a little slow. I believe that they're under staffed. Today there was only one employee taking orders and making drinks.

I have very high expectations for boba shops and y'all, this one specific drink at Ding Tea blew me out of the water. I've been to Ding Tea plenty of times and usually get their milk tea or tarp milk tea with boba, both equally delicious but nothing over the top special. This time though, I decided to go with the Guava Green Milk Tea and it was absolutely incredible. With 25% sugar, you could taste the guava and the tea and the combination with each sip of boba was perfect. I've never really seen guava on other boba places' menu, so this was definitely a pleasant surprise. I ordered this drink 3 weeks ago and it's taken a lot of self control to not keep going daily for more. HIGHLY recommend the guava green milk tea with boba.

Mango Yakult/Yogurt (Creamy Yakult) and Jasmine Green Milk Tea

I went to Ding Tea since it's close to my home. My favorite drink is the Yakut series especially the Mango or Peach flavors. There's a clear plastic screen at the counter (from Covid season?) so it makes it hard to hear when we are ordering. I find myself repeating my order several times to the server. They have tables & chairs for you to hang out but it does not feel super cozy. The machines that they use to make drinks are pretty noisy and so hard to have good conversation with friends.

Love their drinks. I got hot jasmine milk tea, Hokkaido Oolong milk tea, and avocado coffee. Avocado coffee is the bomb. First time had it, thought it was a weird combination, but wow it was better than just the avocado smoothie itself! My husband had my hokkaido and jasmine less sweet less ice. It was the perfect amount of sweet. I would come back to try their other drinks

Ding Tea Sugar Land offered me a place to relax and enjoy deliciousness.

I never thought Ding Tea attracted me from Houston Chinatown to Sugar Land. I was here to redeem my BobaFANatic - a fundraising event for OCA Greater Houston. I didn't care for the Taro Mash Boba Tea offered on the voucher. I really thought it should be taro cubes as the sizes of boba. Since I was not rushed to order, I ordered fried fish ball on the side. I enjoyed my food and view by the window. The huge dining room is a big plus compared with the original restaurant at Dynasty Plaza on Bellaire Blvd. It was a busy Saturday afternoon as most of tables were occupied based on Covid-19 protocol. Sugar Land is not my usual place to visit. But Ding Tea wins my desire for drinks when I return for my grocery shopping at H-E-B next door.

Clean and quiet boba place. Service is fast. Drinks are pretty ok but there isn't a drink that stands out for me.

This is my fav boba place in sugar land but was disappointed recently. But I tried the new drink "green tea with tiramisu foam" 0/5. This was bad I didn't threw it away. The foam ruin the whole drink and it tasted like chocolate. Definitely not worth the calories I got 50% less sugar for jasmine milk tea - literally has no sugar, not sure why that is. Everyone I go 50% still haven't a hint of sweetness. Popcorn chicken (3/5) - the batter used to be more crispy and different.

Upon walking in, I immediately loved the cute cafe vibes and floral detail in the sitting booth area. It had a decent amount of customers, some in a group and individuals who were studying/working. The staff was patient and friendly as we looked over the menu. I ordered the Rose lychee sparkling water 16 oz, strawberry slushy with boba, French fries, takoyaki, and vegetable eggrolls. My friend ordered the Korean Viennese coffee as recommended by the employee. They also had a pastry case which I got the oreo & Nutella cookie & Biscoff white chocolate cookie which they warmed up for you. The food was good and the Takoyaki was my favorite. My friend really liked her coffee & truffle fries. My kids enjoyed their strawberry slushy but not the boba topping as much. My rose lychee drink had lychee bits which I liked but I couldn't taste the sparkling carbonation as strong as I would have preferred. We did play some of the gashapon machines which had cute pop culture toys like Sanrio, Toy Story, one piece & paw patrol. Overall, we had a good time hanging out and the food was satisfying. I will need to try a matcha drink next time.

There's also good number of outlets against the walls. I've spent a lot of hours here to get some studying done and sometimes it gets very warm/musty inside and can get uncomfortable. Occasionally the AC will hit later on in the day and it feels great; other times it just stays warm. The last time, it was too warm for us so we just ordered drinks and did work at another place. My go-to drinks are the orange fruit tea with 75% sugar and the iced matcha latte! The fruit teas are so refreshing and do not taste artificial at all. Lots of pulp and freshly squeezed juice. Depending on who's making the drink, sometimes I get one slice of orange in there and sometimes there's multiple. The iced matcha latte is decent and not too sweet; sugar levels can be adjusted. The matcha taste itself is not very strong. It seems like they've recently changed their cups for the matcha and it tastes a lot milkier than it used to; a little disappointing. The popcorn chicken is served hot and is moist and delicious! It comes with your choice of dipping sauce. They also have bakery items here with unique cookie options and a cute area with little toy machines. Great menu options and worth the visit!

It's the perfect amount of sweetness and the boba is always soft and chewy! The fruit tea is filled with so much real fruit that is perfectly bite sized, and the thai tea is also a favorite. Their snacks are also delicious; especially their bubble waffles! My favorite is the pandan with coconut filling. It's made fresh, but I would prefer some more coconut inside of it. They used to be a few doors down but moved into the larger corner space. It's a great spot for getting work done or hanging with friends, very spacious with some outlets and comfortable chairs! I've done my fair share of studying long hours here. I will say that everytime, there is an unpleasant smell that comes and goes; almost like sewage. A few times it's gotten to the point where I had to pack up my things and leave. The hospitality here could also be improved. Hopefully that gets resolved.

While the osmanthus with cream remains my personal favorite, this visit I ordered the high mountain pouchong with orange and was not disappointed. It's refreshing in the Texas heat, a little tangy from the citrus and perfectly sweet (the lemon variety of it is also exceptional). Luckily there wasn't a line. I picked up a green tea passion fruit tea and was surprised how tasty it was! The drink was a pretty yellow hue with passion fruit seeds at the top. The green tea flavor wasn't overly strong or dry wnd was very fragrant-- super tasty~ It came in a recyclable little sling carrier too, super cute :) I love how the brand focuses on real fruit, milk/cream so there aren't any artificial ingredients lurking around. You can order at the kiosk or at the cashier. For sweetness customization, they only have full level, less sweet, and no sugar options. The less sweet is already plenty sweet for me, so wish there was a slightly less sweet option than that. The service was polite and friendly, and the inside was clean with several tables. Besides the great taste, I really appreciate the "no artificial stuff" way of doing things. After one drink I'm Chicha San Chen fan! Be sure to stop by sometime and try their tea :D
