So... this was an interesting experience in customer service!…read more I used the FANZO sports bar finder website (fanzo.com) to determine that a pay-per-view boxing event was "confirmed" (per the website) to be showing at Dave & Buster's Springfield this past Saturday afternoon. I called the location ahead of time that Saturday and spoke to a D&B employee, who confirmed that the bar would be showing the boxing event. I drove 20+ minutes to the location and, after waiting at the bar for a while, I was told that, after checking with the manager, Dave & Buster's would NOT be showing the event--even though it had been listed as "confirmed" on the sports bar finder website and despite D&B staff confirming it over the phone less than an hour earlier. On my way out the door, I noticed a poster advertising another boxing event (Errol Spence vs. Tim Tszyu) that Dave & Buster's planned to show later that night. I didn't see the event confirmed anywhere online so, when I got back home, I again called Dave & Buster's to confirm that they'd at least be showing the boxing event that night, given the poster advertising the event near the front entrance. They quickly confirmed that yes, the event would be showing. So a couple of hours later, I again drove 20+ minutes back to Dave & Buster's Springfield to watch the event and patronize the venue. Upon arrival, one of the first things I noticed was that the poster I'd seen near the front door just a few hours earlier had been removed. I asked a D&B front desk employee about the event, and she sheepishly replied that the venue had "planned" on airing the event but was unable to do so (for some unexplained reason). So that was two sporting events advertised as airing that same day that ultimately weren't shown. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me, I guess! Later that night, I emailed Dave & Buster's Guest Relations (corporate) to explain what had happened and express my frustration with the experience. To my surprise, they responded promptly the next day (on a Sunday!), apologized, and credited me with Dave & Buster's gaming chips as a gesture of goodwill. (I did have to pay a little out of pocket to purchase the Power Card needed for Guest Relations to transfer the gaming chips, but I nonetheless very much appreciated the goodwill gesture.) So I'd definitely rate the initial experience at the location a 1, but I'd rate D&B Guest Relations' prompt response and gesture of goodwill a 4 or 5. So they get a 3 overall from me (higher than their current Yelp average). I'll say that my experiences at this venue prior to this past weekend have generally been good. I just don't think I'll feel comfortable relying on this location for pay-per-view sporting events anytime soon, and, given the experience I had here, I'd warn others to independently verify any pay-per-view event before making the trip, even if Dave & Buster's staff confirms it over the phone.

I went savory with the Norwegian crepe, and it provided a great contrast. Creamy, frothy and topped with a very generous layer of cinnamon, it leaned more decadent and aromatic. The cinnamon hits you before the first sip, and the creamy coffee underneath makes it feel almost like a brunch treat of its own. If you're choosing between the two, I'd go Americano for bold and classic, Havana for creamy and indulgent. One detail I appreciated: the cafe designates tables as "laptop free" between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. I actually love this during the busy brunch window. It helps keep tables available for people who are there to eat and encourages the cafe to feel like a social space rather than a coworking office. Overall, Cortado Cafe delivered on both sides of the menu: beautiful sweet crepes, thoughtfully composed savory options, and coffee worth lingering over. Come hungry, these aren't dainty little crepes!

I have been there 3 times. After the first bad experience when I went there with friends, my boyfriend wanted go there since it was new. After the 2nd bad experience, my son wanted to try it since it was new. Service is horrible. Two separate occasions, while sitting at the bar (and bar was not crowded) we received our food but no silverware. Had to wait awhile while we finally got someone's attention. On two occasions beer glasses were warm. It is very hard to get the bartenders' attention while sitting at the bar. Even when the bar is not crowded. My beer was served without a napkin or coaster and beer had spilled all over when the bartender set it down. I was left with a puddle at the bar. I asked for napkins to clean it up. I had to wait for while... On a different occasion when I ordered a flight, the bartender set it down with the names that are written on the flight to let you know what beer you're drinking we're facing away from me. When I tried to turn it around, it made a mess with spilled beer. Again, I had to wait for napkins to clean up the mess. On a different occasion when my boyfriend ordered a flight, the bartender did not even write the numbers to tell what beers were in which glass. When we asked her to do so, it was obvious she didn't remember and just wrote down names in the wrong order. My boyfriend asked the bartender several times if she could change the television to a hockey game. (This is after he asked the couple sitting next to us if they were watching what was currently showing and they said no). Again, the bar was not crowded by any means. He asked AT LEAST 4 times and each time she said, "yes, let me get the remote." It takes so long to get a server's or bartender's attention. Eating utensils should be given when ordering food. My son ordered an espresso. It took 30 minutes! When we asked, the bartender said it was because it was coming from the bakery! Again, this was not peak hours and the place was not busy at all. Also, the menu is overwhelming. And there really isn't anything they specialize in. Overall, service is horrible! Food is "meh". Go to Yard House. read more

My friend and I sat in a booth at the bar. I loved it, it was different and comfortable. Our server name was Javona and gosh her energy was not there at all. She looked like she didn't even want to be here. Never smiled, talked quiet, and had an attitude. When she was taking our order and every time one of us had a question she would one look around like we wasn't talking to her or just didn't know the answers to our question. Her menu knowledge isn't there at all. I can tell she was getting irritated because we were taking forever. Also, I caught her a couple of times rolling her eyes at me. Like WHAT THE HECK! The food came out just fine. We loved it however, when the desserts came out that was a whole different story. We had ordered a root beer float and two cupcakes. Well, this sure topped off our experience here. The root beer float didn't have NO ice cream in there. What root beer float you know doesn't have ice cream in it? If that was the case I would have just got the soda. Oh, and the cupcakes was even worst. When she bought it to the table the frosting was already melted. Those cupcakes are not cheap and she had the nerve to tell us well here you go this is what I have for you guys and enjoy. I was LIVID! I was really excited about this place when they first opened, it seemed like it was gonna be so awesome, but I think they bit off more than they could chew. Their menu is the size of a book and they must have 500 to 600 menu items and none of them are executed really well. The highlight of my experience was the steak egg-rolls, those were the only thing, that was actually good, everything else went downhill from there. Thr pizza was just flatbread with nothing on it and a little bit of cheese. The salad was soggy, it was shredded lettuce with a tomato and cucumber, and Store brought dressing it was soggy nothing appetizing. The food is not good, I think they should reduce their menu and focus more on the quality of their food, instead of having the large menu. There is no way that you can possibly keep that many items on stock, fresh, and made to order. That just means that everything is frozen and already premade. read more

I went to Maggie McFly's recently and was genuinely impressed. The presentation of the food was really nice and the restaurant was very clean. My fried Chicken Sandwich can on this wooden cutting board accompanied by fried, which I thought was very artsy. Something else that I liked about the restaurant was the atmosphere inside. It looked very nice event though the food was moderately priced. It is a nice place where you can go get a drink, or sit down with your family for dinner. The decor or the restaurant add to the atmosphere. Overall the service was good. I will definitely go back to Maggie McFly's because the food is very good, the atmosphere is nice, and the service is amazing. This is my second time coming here and so I had to write a review. The food is so good, the service is great and both times I would say they exceeded five stars. Everything we tried has been really really good. Apps: must get pot stickers, crab puffs spinach dip and their bread is really really good. The chicken and waffles is addictive and so satisfying; some of the best I've ever had and the sauce just sets it all the way off. Louisiana chicken is great and the wife loves it. The teriyaki bowl is flavorful and it's filling but not super heavy; Very good. Still going back to try out some more of the menu, this place has shot to the top of my restaurant favorites list ... a must try !!!!! Tasteless food, I sat at the bar, had fried calamari it was tasteless, so I decided to try something else's cause you know most restaurants they're not good at everything so I ordered a Tex mex and that thing was worst than the calamari. So food wise I'll give this place a 2 out of 10 yard house is next door to it and have much better food than them. Try the Tex mex of both and you'll be the judge. First time dining out since covid and I had a great experience! I had the walnut chicken salad and my friend had the bacon and egg burger. We both REALLY enjoyed our meals and that burger was amazing. Our server Fenan also did an amazing job handling our special requests and was very attentive. He was really friendly and his service was phenomenal. Especially since servers have been limiting contact, but limiting contact doesn't mean being curt. This place is a great place to come to for happy hour. The bar is really nice as are their bartenders. My husband and I had burgers. My burger was overcooked and it came with a fried egg on top. The egg was also overcooked...it felt like I was eating a boiled egg. I had mentioned it to the bartender and he apologized, but the apology was all I got. Second time (6months later) The same issues occurred- no smile when greeted as if they seem upset to see us, server was always in a rush no explanation of anything on the menu and food took a while to come out. Not for larger parties! They took my reservation and when I showed up they said they don't take reservations. I was informed the wait time was 1-2 hours. It took about 30 minutes to seat us but we didn't sit together. The food and drinks were okay but after my experience I probably won't go back and definitely would not recommend. read more

Although she never provided the gift card. We went back about a month ago and had a lovely experience. They had the normal bartender waiting on us and it was great. So we decided we try it again. Big mistake! The next time we went back, they were back to their regular cocktail server who refused to wait on me because of the review I left. I've never mentioned her by name. I only described the experience. Ironically, my experience was not even about her, I think she just has such a guilty conscience, she assumed it was about her. So now we have a restaurant owner, who allows their waitstaff to deny service to people if you write a bad review??? Talk about the tail wagging the dog! Plenty of much better restaurants out there that offer good food, and waitstaff that actually does their job, which is waiting on customers. Hard pass for me.

The Bloody Mary however was a miss for me, it just tasted like V8 juice and there was no old bay seasoning on the rim like specified. Either way, I decided to try one of their newer dishes, the lobster pasta, and it was excellent. Our server was very friendly, polite, and attentive. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, he continued to check on us and apologized for any delays. His professionalism and great attitude made the experience even better. Overall, we were very pleased with both the food and the service and look forward to coming back.

Even though I didn't enjoy the dish I had, I probably come back to try the burger.

Fries are often either over or undercooked. The pricing is inconsistent. Never get the member discount even after saying I'm a member. Wings... so not worth it. Their ranch also isn't the good kind.

Not "pretty good for Woodbridge." Not "solid little neighborhood spot." I mean clear-your-calendar-because-you're-going-back good. We ordered the Breakfast Board for Two, and it was exactly what brunch should be: generous, fun, shareable, and absolutely loaded. Eggs, bacon, house-made sausage, smashed potatoes, Belgian waffles, biscuit, gravy (so good), fresh fruit, Greek parfait, and pastries of the day all showed up on one board like brunch had assembled the Avengers. And here's what makes it even better: everything is made from scratch. You can taste it. Even the sausage is made in-house, which explains why it stood out so much. The smashed potatoes were seasoned beautifully, the scrambled eggs were fluffy, the bacon had that perfect crispy edge, and the waffles were golden with just enough crunch. The biscuit was soft and buttery, and the cinnamon roll situation on the side had absolutely zero interest in helping anyone make responsible decisions. Respect. But the absolute star of the show was the spicy Bloody Mary. Best Bloody Mary I've ever had. Full stop. It had real zip, great spice, and that pickle salt rim took it completely over the top. Salty, briny, spicy, savory, it hit every note. Add the crispy bacon and lemon garnish = forget about it!! The drink menu is no joke either. They've got mimosa carafes, mimosa flights, sangria, margarita flights, brunch cocktails, dirty sodas, coffee drinks - basically, The Spot looked at brunch beverages and said, "Yes. All of it." We also had a mimosa, and it was bright, fresh, and exactly what you want sitting next to a big brunch board. We also had the chance to meet the owners, and they were fantastic. Warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they're building. That makes such a difference. You can tell when a place has real people behind it who care about the food, the service, and the vibe. The Spot absolutely has that. I liked it so much that I'm already going back for their bourbon tasting Saturday night, and then again for their Father's Day brunch on Sunday. Great food, great drinks, great owners, great atmosphere, and scratch-made brunch that actually delivers. The Spot at Belmont Bay is a winner. It's a cute small place so make sure you call and make reservations!
