This place is awesome!!!!!! Me and two friends recently dined at this location and had the best time. The restaurant itself is super clean, classy, and nicely decorated. We sat at the bar and received excellent service from the bartender (I didn't catch her name but she was really nice!) We started out with some drinks, I had a Moscow mule and my guest had the Barbie Dreamhouse martini, which was not only cute but really tasty!!!! We started out with some of the bar bites, the brussel sprouts with were bomb and the philly egg rolls which were AMAZING. My friend and I shared the Cuban sandwich for dinner and I also had a side salad, it was super fresh and no plate was left empty! Only regret is that we were too full to try out their deserts! One star for cleanliness and one for drinks. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is pretty standard for a sports bar, the service was lacking, and the food was mediocre at best. We tried the buffalo dip, which came out with the grease of the cheese on top of the cheese itself. We also ordered the garbage burger, which was ok. The paella was the worst, though, as it looked like the items were all cooked separately and then thrown together in the pan, reheated and served. The sauce tasted like canned tomato sauce, the seafood was rubbery (overcooked), and some of the rice grains were hard. We couldn't finish the paella, so we tried the chicken/avocado club. The chicken was lukewarm, and the sandwich itself lacked flavor. The only thing that was great were the drinks-old fashioned and Jamison/ginger ale. Average chain restaurant with a huge menu of offerings ... at least 10 pages... and I suspect most are OK -- not good or bad -- at least that was my experience. The she crab soup was meh and I asked the son to remind me not to order it in the future the crab balls (appetizer) were fantastic and I highly recommend them. What made it worse was when we told our waitress that the food seemed off, (pasta wasn't fully cooked) she insisted that they were "gluten free" and that's how it was supposed to taste? I've had gluten free pasta and definitely did not resemble any of that. If you want to spend money on a meal out I suggest you try the other restaurants near there. My friends and I went here today to have lovely lunch but instead we had to deal with a rude server who constantly was giving us attitude whenever we asked for more drinks and wanted to order something else. Server is name Son. He was disrespectful man who picked and choose who he wanted to be nice to. There was a couple next to our table who were white and when he came to our table with (colored skin) he gave us attitude. I felt very disrespected and discriminated. I talked to a server name Casey who was very sweet and advised me to put a comment card to give to the manager. Still haven't received a call from the manager so I'm instead writing this review if anyone gets a server called Son please save your money and give it to a different server who is more polite. Since this place had recently opened nearby, my family and I wanted to check it. First off, their menu is big; it takes a couple pages past the drinks to even get to the food. They have a variety of food, which I think is good when you're with a larger group so that everyone has something to choose from. They provided us some freshly baked garlic bread sticks. We started off with the onion ring tower and coconut shrimp. I enjoyed the coconut shrimp, but it was a bit awkward that there were seven us but only six pieces of shrimp. The pina colada sauce it came with was interesting. I mostly ate my piece on it's own. The onion rings were crispy and tasty. The sauces were alright. For my main entree, I decided to go with the fried clam strips off their seasonal menu. I could tell it was probably one of the first dishes to be completed and sat under the heat lamp while the dishes were being made since they weren't as hot and crispy as I would've like. Nevertheless it was not disappointing. Also, I was not expecting it to be a large bowl of the clam strips and fries so that was a nice surprise. I had plenty leftover. Overall, I think that while the food itself was nothing particularly special, the variety of food makes this place a good option to casually eat out. The pricing is pretty fair too. With such a large menu, I could see myself coming back again to try out more of their items. read more

I ordered the most expensive burger they had. It was nothing soecial. So in Nova, the best American style restaurants in the area is/are still the great American restaurants. But the burger was not gourmet caliber if we ate talking about burgers in the DMV. This area is blessed with awesome burgers. So if Im getting a burger in the DMV, I'm nit getting one from here. Food is great. Like amazingly great. I've referred dozens of people here. But I think that's going to stop. Service has SUCKED this entire past year. I come once a week and constantly am ignored for 15-20+ minutes before someone asks for my order. God forbid I'm ready for my check and there's never a staff member around so I wait another unnecessary 15minutes. This specifically happens during afternoon hours between noon and 5pm. This location also has a promo with LA Fitness next door. I always remind my server so they apply the discount to my bill but they always conveniently forget. Do better please. Really surprised how good their burgers are... I had the wagyu on a pretzel bun and it is hands-down the best juicy melt in your mouth burger I've had in the area. Decent selection of beverages. First time coming to this place and HOLY CRAP the options. After looking through what seemed like a book of different yummy foods I decided on the Southern Fried Chicken. The chicken is smothered in a bacon cream sauce which is to die for and is served with garlic Asiago mashed potatoes and a corn medley. 10/10 would get again. We ordered ribs (were very fatty), mac and cheese (that had 0 flavor), brussel sprouts (that were soggy and without flavor), the chicken & waffles (the syrup has no taste, not even sweet), and our son had noddles with cheese sauce (ehhhh, just okay). I typically live for desserts but the food was so awful that I didn't want to take a risk. The menu must be 15+ pages. As always, the food is pretty much on the mark. I could recommend the shrimp and scallops alla vodka as well as the bang bang chicken and shrimp. The egg roll trio remains the king. Our first visit to Maggie McFlys was with a group of 6, two of which were children. We planned ahead and made a reservation. They were packed on a Thursday night, so I highly recommend reservations. The menu is ginormous... there is something for everyone. I opted for a burger and sweet potato fries. The burger was on point, there was not a bit leftover. My husband and I also split a fried mozzarella appetizer. We were expecting mozarella sticks and got 3 *large* triangles of fried mozarella. The breading was seasoned to perfection, but sharing did require work and plates. I'd pick something else if you're sharing with a big group, or order 2. Although they were packed, we never felt neglected. We did have a small delay on drinks that had to come from the bar, but nothing that ruined our experience.
