Really disappointed in this spot. Really wanted to love it but the service alone made my experience terrible. Waited 15 minutes before getting up to ask the manager to get a server. Totally would have been understandable if it was a busy Friday or Saturday night but came on Sunday afternoon. There were plenty of servers who acknowledged us but never came to greet our table. Went to grab a Manager at the host stand who was surrounded by 4 or 5 servers just hanging out. She came over and asked us for our order and by this time was ready to give her both our drink and meal order. We then had another manager swing by the table who was unaware that we had already spoken to the other manager and provided our order. The server (who was waiting on other tables in our section) then came over to ask if she'd waited too long. Yes. She then asked if she could send us a free dessert, which we honestly weren't in the mood for anyways as we were just ordering drinks and an appetizer. What I would've expected at that point was to have one of our more affordable appetizers comped instead. At this point we were already pretty over it and to our surprise.. opened up a roll up of silverware to find crusty old food on the fork. Asked for the check, provided cash for by boyfriends meal which only would have been a dollar and change back which the server assumed it would be cool to just keep. Had to get the manager again to ask for a pen to sign for my check and change for my boyfriend. Will not return. It's a shame as this restaurant has so much potential but will not do well simply due to the poor/lack of service. read more

A nice atmosphere and nice overall feel to the place. I sat at the bar and had a couple drinks; good selection of liquors, more importantly bourbons. I went with the Caesar salad and blackened salmon. The salad was very good and filling amount. For the salmon, I thought it had decent flavor and overall tasty. Fantastic! So the last "mall restaurant" I ate at was in Nashville, prior to that, San Diego - and none of them compared to our experience at Maggie Mcfly's! I was expecting mediocre sides and reasonable service, but I was completely wrong - service was fantastic and the entrees/sides were equally delicious! There are TONS of food options (not always a good thing), and nothing we ordered tasted pre frozen, or packaged, but all fresh and well put together! Don't let the mall atmosphere throw you off, this place has great food! read more

We ordered: - Appetizer Favorites - comes with: spinach and artichoke dip with chips/veggies; Buffalo chicken wings; and Tex Mex egg rolls - BBQ Southern Fried Chicken Salad - Maggie's Burrito - Party Time - listed as Funfetti cake with vanilla mousse filling We received: - a box of 5 dry chicken wings (no Buffalo sauce or ranch/blue cheese) - two Philly cheesesteak egg rolls - not bad, but not Tex Mex egg rolls - a box of chips, garlic bread, and a single piece of broccolini - a dry salad with no chicken and no dressing - no burrito - no spinach dip Also, not a complaint, but the item listed as Funfetti cake is a cupcake. Basically the same, I know, but should be noted somewhere in the item description IMO. Just came back from a lunch at this restaurant and I must say that I wont go back . The music was so loud that it was hard to have a conversation with my friend . Asked the waiter to see if they could turn it down , but no such luck . I already had a slide headache but when I left it was time to go home . I ordered the steak salad and it was Ok the meat was over seasoned and they used to much tenderizer to make up for a cheap cut of meat . There are three reasons to never eat at this establishment again: 1. A waiter wiped his nose with the fork & knife sets in his hand and then proceeded to place the sets on a table in preparation for someone else to sit down. Absolutely disgusting. Unsanitary. And unsafe. 2. When I raised the concern with the manager on staff, she gave excuses like "maybe this is the first time he did that" and "but your stuff is clean - I've never seen him do that" and my favorite, "well it's a really busy night". She fave excuses and did not comp our bill despite us wanting to leave immediately. She obviously covers for the unsanitary practices in this establishment. 3. Not only was the order running behind (which I'm not typically worried about) but the food was so soggy, cold and unappetizing that I couldn't even imagine feeding this to an animal! I really hate leaving a bad review but it needs to be done. There is always a huge red flag when an eating establishment has too many things on the menu. But I thought I'd give it a try. And sure enough I was throughly disappointed in every menu item I ordered. Cauliflower dip- had no panko on top and lacked flavor Truffle fries- nice and crispy but you could barely taste the truffle and the aioli tasted like mayo no garlic Tacos- a big bowl of inedible corn mixture that was oily no flavor and room temp? It's more of a garnishment not a side. Meats in tacos lacked flavor. Seafood Paella- lacked flavor and juices. I had to add salt 2 times and I don't even cook with salt. Lastly my drink was charged by piece. $11 for the knob creek and $4.50 for the old fashioned. $14.50 for one cocktail? If it had the correct ice cube or extra luxardo cherries maybe. I won't complain about service. But unfortunately I can't shout him out either. You can't be masters of every dish because there is no quality control and it shows. Maybe some kinks to work out, maybe growing pains. I came here for my best friend's birthday dinner with family. I'll start with the low points. A busser ended up dropping a couple plates on a person's coat resulting in stains. This same person later experienced a rubber band in her broccolini. The manager remedied the situation by comping her meal and informed her they reimburse for dry cleaning. The birthday girl didn't enjoy her jambalaya but I told her it didn't seem like the kinda place you get jambalaya from. My burger was pretty good, however I asked for it medium well and it came out closer to well done. Despite all of these things the Mac and cheese burger is pretty good along with the sweet potato fries. They charged for club soda, that was a surprise too but whatever. We had been eyeing Maggie McFly's for a while and when they finally opened we made our move. We came for dinner on a Friday night and the place was pretty packed. We had a group of six but only waited 15-20 minutes before being sat at our table. The waiting area was really small/cramped. If the weather was nice you could wait outside but when it's cold/wet it makes for a very uncomfortable wait. The bar was really jumping and you can tell this place is going to be a go-to happy hour spot. The menu is actually way too large in my opinion. It was extremely overwhelming. Unless you go in knowing exactly what you want you will spend 10-15 minutes flipping through the menu. And, when you make it to the end you will have already forgotten what you wanted. It's just way too much. Pare it down a bit and make it manageable. After my third trip through the menu I ended up going with a burger. Now, the burger was actually fantastic. The seasoning was delicious and it was cooked to medium perfection. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the burger with Gouda cheese (I forget the actual name of the burger). Fries were also delicious. Everyone else was really happy with their meals as well. They also have plenty of crazy cocktails to try. This will be a fun spot to check out for HH or if you find yourself at the mall. I never complete reviews but here goes! The food it underwhelming. This was my first time ordering food from this restaurant and will be my last. I ordered the Cobb salad which was lackluster. Additionally the salad had mushrooms which I could immediately smell (fishy odor) and determined should not have been used. I ordered the stuff chicken breast which looked more like chicken breast that was a half portion. I was afraid to eat it since it might have had those same fishy smelling mushrooms that were in the salad. This was my first time coming to McFly's and I'll definitely be back! For starters, I ordered the brussel sprouts and they were SO good! I also ordered the white sangria and I can't wait to come for happy hour sometime. For my meal, I ordered bang bang shrimp and chicken (pictured) and of o order it again. I wish there was more shrimp in the dish, but overall it was very good- the sauce tastes like a coconut curry which was a nice surprise compared to other bang bang shrimp I've had in the past! I was at the Springfield location with an engagement party dinner for outdoor seating last night. It was my first time eating at Maggie McFly's and the food/drink selection was good in my opinion I enjoyed the truffle fries, onion rings, and calamari! Unfortunately, I will leave a review and complain about the lack of detail on our waiter's part. He was the server for another similar sized party sitting outside as well (appropriate social distancing was in place). Why did the other party have 4-5 heater torches ON the entire time for them, while our table didn't have ours on? It was FREEZING...as we waited for our drinks and food to arrive, we one-by-one stood by the small fire pit to stay warm. We had several excuses explaining why our waiter failed to notice such an odd situation: 1: not enough propane, once the other table was done they will move the working heaters near our table. This excuse was entirely false because we watched our waiter carry one of the heaters sitting near us to another individual outside and he had no problem turning it on for them. 2: the other table had a reservation and we did not. 3: manager didn't know we were there. I was frustrated our table was neglected this way and we only said something towards the end because we noticed our waiter carrying the heater and turning it on without a problem for another customer....then once they left, the waiter took the heater back where he got it from which was directly next to our table and didn't offer to turn it on for us. That was a huge lack of awareness on his part or he purposely neglected us. Not a good look! We were told from the beginning that the heater torches near us did not work, but no one attempted to even turn them on at least and our party of 10+ was trying to stay warm by the small fire pit near by. I am rating a 2/5 for lack of attention to detail and to provide customer feedback in hopes of preventing future frustration for others. Please do better in keeping inventory on which heaters work/do not work. It made no sense why we were left in the cold and other customers were being taken care of. Our server was polite and I'm sure it was a busy Saturday night but I am not happy about the situation that could've been avoided. Please train your waiters to pay more attention to detail and at least have them attempt to turn on the heaters for your customers sitting outdoors. Here's a kicker: at the end, the waiter and the manager had the kind audacity to offer us ICE CREAM after we've all been freezing outside for 3 hours. read more

Maggie's has such a giant menu it was hard to pick what we wanted! Once we did, it did take a veryyyyy long time for us to get our food and it didn't seem like they were that busy when we went and we were just super hungry and it seemed like everyone else was getting their food before us. Other than that, the food came in big portions and it was very delicious. We'll definitely come back because there are so many different things to try but hopefully it won't take ages to get our food again lol read more

06 June 19- This'll be my last time reviewing unless there's a crap experience. Tonight we experienced phenomenal service. Both of our entrees came out & were not up to par. The brisket was fatty, Mac and cheese looked like out the box & the yams cold. My salmon was grilled although i asked for blackened & the rice was crunchy. Our amazing waitress Victoria quickly handled the situation & got new orders in. Mine the same with corrections & his changing to double burger (good but messy which he enjoyed). The manager Elizabeth comped our appetizer (mild wings- well sauced & crispy) & took an additional discount off. Maggie's is on our top 10 & we try to come out atleast once a month. You won't regret it! ------------ Second time here. My first time was late around midnight for late night happy hour(bar food only-no drinks offered). The sliders were good as well as the mozzarella sticks. Their liquor selection is selective & my boyfriend found a whiskey that he rarely sees on menu! Today's visit we got dinner. For the appetizer we did spinach artichoke dip. Wayyyy different than what i expected & i loved it. Not only was there chips but veggies, garlic bread and kettle chips as well! My boyfriend got a Cesar salad with chicken, a huge portion. Chicken was tasty and the dressing was typical but yummy. I ordered the herbed salmon filet with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The worst burger I ever had I ordered a medium cook burger salad for lunch; after 25 minutes of wait when there was no other customers, a big plate arrived. I was surprised that the outside of the burger had a thick coat of something well done. Not sure if it was bread or what. The few meat I side was ok, and salad was good. Went on a Sunday with a large group of 14, as we were celebrating a birthday. Overall the place is very clean. Our server was very accommodating and did a great job of getting our food out in timely fashion. The menu has lots of options and isn't limited at all. I had chicken tenders, which were a little rubbery - they weren't cooked long enough and the Caesar salad looked and tasted pretty average. The lettuce didn't look fresh, so I didn't eat it. I munched on the Tex mex rolls, which were tasty. Everyone enjoyed their food. I'd recommend this place for big groups bc they have lots of options. I went for brunch a couple weeks ago and it was my first time visiting this restaurant. I love that they have their brunch menu available to view online since Yard House and Maggiano's are right near it and neither of them do; I'm someone who prefers to view the menu before going in to see my options. The entire menu is available for order, as well as their brunch items. I wish this place took reservations, but I was happy I got there around 1130 and got outdoor seating since it was gorgeous out, by 1145 almost all the outdoor seating was gone! Our waitress was wonderful, she was a tiny lady, very proactive, and let us choose the outdoor table we wanted. She brought the drinks out quickly and was bringing me refills on my lemonade before I even asked. After she took our order, I got someone to open up the umbrella they have and it provided ample shade. She checked on us again to see if we needed anything and I was having a good time with my partner so I hadn't even realized it had been about 30 min since she had taken our order! She went to check as to why our food had not come out yet, and I had noticed other people who came after us (who even ordered the same things as us) had gotten their orders first. Eventually my breakfast quesadilla (I asked for no bacon and to add spinach), and my partner's french toast and side of eggs arrived. The menu stated that the quesadilla came with salsa and sour cream, however they didn't bring it out until I specifically asked for it (even though my waitress confirmed with me I'd like those). The french toast was amazingggg, I would definitely return for that!!! Overall, the seating and the staff is wonderful, but the wait for food needs to be improved on. The only reason I left three stars is for 3 reasons: the very sweet host and hostess, the pandemic causing possible understaffing, and cleanliness. I got the Ruben and the Garbage burger. Asked for a side of the special sauce that the burger comes in and the server didn't even try to get it for us. She stated "I've been here 6 months and I've never seen them have a sauce for the burger." We ended up asking someone else and they brought it out a while later. The menu was amazing and we were so excited about what we were going to get. I opted for the protein bowl with steak- well done. I don't usually order steak well done but I don't trust red meat at places not a steakhouse. As we are ordering we notice a belligerent patron on the other side of our booth having an argument at his table- yelling and repeatedly saying "suck my dick...". About 10 minutes into his rant we had asked a waiter that passed by while we were hearing this man wild out if someone could handle the situation and he said yes. It never was handled, he remained in the establishment yelling at his counterparts until he was given his bill and left on his own. Whatever. But then.. as I'm eating dinner, I notice my steak is medium (not what I ordered) and woe and behold a thick short black hair in my mushrooms- similar to a beard hair. Sure enough- at least one of the cooks from what I can see has a beard. Our waitress comes by and I explain to her everything I just stated- high hopes... belligerent dude... hair in food... she takes our plates, leaves the hairy mushroom on the table, and sends me the manager. No "im sorry" no empathy... nothing. Like - did i do something wrong here? I'm not sure why she couldn't explain the situation to the manager- who was very obviously aware of at least the belligerent dude- herself, but now I get to explain this crap all over again. The manager was very nice, she begins to explain that she didn't want to confront the belligerent dude as she didn't want to make the situation worse. Although I can respect her response to the situation I do not agree with it. Our table and other guests had to endure the hostility of one patron while trying to enjoy our dinners- besides, mall security is a thing. Anyways, our meals were free and she apologized upon her return. Looking for money to leave a tip for the waitress since we had no cash, we later notice her watching us from the kitchen as we gathered our things- awkward. Annoyed that the waitress was eyeing us down, never acknowledged the belligerent customer, never offered to move us to an empty table (there were plenty), and had me reiterate the situation all over to the manager instead of delivering the concern herself- we just left. Tried Maggie Mcfly's for Sunday football this past weekend. I'm hesitant to share a positive review because I was to keep this hidden gem to myself. Excellent environment to watch football and or simply go for dinner. The Sunday game day specials are second to none. The happy hour specials on a normal week day are excellent. $5 -designated apps & $5 - 34oz beers. 34 oz beers for $5!!!! My group tried the fried pickles, nachos, Mac & cheese balls, mozzarella sticks, and pretzel for our apps (don't judge). The Honey BBQ wings & Parmesan Truffle wings also found a way to our table somehow . The menu is HUGE. Harry Potter book huge! Disclaimer: I hate truffle but could not taste the truffle in the wings which is a good and/or bad thing depending who you are. WOW... Bright and brand new in the area! I came here for lunch with my coworkers and WOW WOW this place is pretty spacious --- big booths, a nice bar, nice decor! We were greeted and seated immediately after we walked in which was a great start. Then this is the fun part: The BIG menu! It's like a book with so much exciting revelation inside. I don't remember how many items they have exactly on the menu but I know it's over 100, it's insane. For our appetizer, we ordered their Appetizer Favorites Tower and it came with Tex-Mex rolls, artichoke dip, chicken wings. Everything was fresh and yummy! My favorite was definitely the tex-mex roll but I couldn't eat more than one because you know...company lunch. Share the blessings. Entree!... I got their Louisiana pasta dish and wow it was one of the best pasta dishes I've had. It's creamy and a little hint of spicy which I loved. I can't wait to come back and try their other dishes! Was there for lunch with the family today and boy were we in for a nice surprise! Service: Service was good, although there was a bit of a wait around 2pm. But they told me we could call ahead to get on the wait list. Will try this next time around. Food: Be prepared to be overwhelmed by the menu! So many choices, I decided to stick to the lunch menu and ended up picking such a delicious meal: Bang Bang Shrimp and chicken curry. It was just perfect (see pic)! Husband got the 3 taco meal which he liked. Our friend along with our kids were very pleased with the food and overall experience. My son said that is his favorite restaurant now. We got the chocolate and carrot cakes, which were devine! Atmosphere: All booth restaurant, wh, really like the bar area. Definitely recommend! Will be back soon. read more

They have a huge menu with lots of options. However, their service is horrible. This is my 3rd time coming here and each time the server disappears anywhere from 10-20 minutes at a time and it's hard to locate them. The last time I went I asked for a refill on my drink 4 times within a 20 minute period before it was finally refilled. The food is alright. Needs more flavoring in my opinion. They seem to have a lot of dishes similar to Cheesecake Factory, but Cheesecake is so much more tastier. I ordered the Turkey dinner and they gave me this tiny slice of Turkey for that big ole plate. Our server was great but the food was very mediocre for the price we were charged. My father ordered a steak priced at $35 that came with shrimp, asparagus I believe, and rice. The shrimp was very bland, like the cook didn't bother to sprinkle ANY salt or pepper. The steak was super thin, similar to the sirloin steak you find at Waffle House. Wish I had gotten a picture of it. Not at all worth the $35 they charged smh. I ordered the Cajun jambalaya dish which was just ok. The place isn't horrible, but it's definitely overpriced IMO. Only giving this place 3 stars due to the front desk hostess... I understand it's covid but she was completely rude ... she only gave 3 menus now kids menu when I asked for one she responded with an eye roll and saying "they're on the table" I had to explain to her they weren't. The table wasn't properly sanitized prior to me arriving when I asked her to wipe it down there was another eye roll and sigh. So that alone makes me reluctant to come back. My server was a nice young Asian woman with glasses... so sweet she was the best her service was the only thing that saved my visit.
