Here's where the problem begins, 1. This dealership sends out a pretty young lady to have my niece drive the car, ( they had her and my niece put gas on it since it was empty) 2. This dealership girl spends 15 minutes going over the cars features. As we're walking in to fill out paperwork, I say if you can lower the price 500 bucks we'll take it. Plus I said we don't need the extended warranty or the gap insurance as we are going to go through our bank for financing so we don't need to fill out your application for loan. She says, I'll see what I can do... 3. She began with a question of were we renting or buying a house when she realized we weren't filling out a loan application, she gets up , leaves, and comes back with an ASSHOLE of a manager ( He said he was a manager anyway) Frank, I think his name was. 4. This mutha fucker, starts off with , we're a small outfit, the vehicle is already a great deal and there's no margins on it, after I told him I wasn't going through his dealership for a loan. Then he focuses his attention on me, talking about my truck, trying to find a common ground and to find a buddy buddy subject. 5. This is where the LYING starts, first he said, we don't accept other financing, meaning we had to go through their application process, then he says the car has no margins, meaning they can't lower the price. That's when I told frank, that I sold used cars, and I know how despicable they can be in order to sell you a car. Salesman was a young man who started out great but soon fell into total salesman skit. The truck was 53k. By the time all said and done it was 68k. Total bs fees for things they didn't even do to the truck. The finance manager was by far the most unprofessional person I've ever seen. He was more interested in eating while trying to use the computer than making a sale. The owner should be ashamed to have people like this working for him and taking advantage of people is out of line. ***DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME*** Horrible experience with Madera Ford!! I went with my son to look at and possible purchase a used vehicle. We were willing to pay even up to the advertised price. My son called the day before we drove from out of town to see the vehicle to confirm it was still available, He responded to 2 text messages from the person he spoke to on the phone advising that we were on our way up to see the vehicle. Arriving at the dealership we contacted a salesman who seemed very unfamiliar with the vehicle in question but was finally able to locate it. Upon inspecting this vehicle it had parts in the back seat and was missing the weather striping around the front windshield. The car was dirty and not presentable (amazing since we even called the day before advising we were going to make the trip up to see it). Anyway my son drove the car and decided to purchase it as long as the dealer repaired the safety items that needed attention on it. We then went inside and sat at the desk with the salesman who took some information. We said that we plan to pay cash for the vehicle and the salesman advised there would be approximately 10% added for sales tax and registration fees, which is pretty much standard in California. The salesman then said there would be anywhere from $3995 to $6500 added to the price for after market equipment added from the dealership. We then advised to take off any outrageously priced added equipment that we do not want and frankly couldn't even see on this used 10 year old vehicle. He said it doesn't work like that and they can't just take it off. We then stood up and left advising that we will be purchasing a car from either a private party or a reputable dealership. Only wish we would've read the Yelp reviews prior to making the trip up to look at this car. Want to send a big thank you to Mike and everyone at the Silva Ford Service department. They put forth extra effort to help us in any way they could. We were driving back home to Los Angeles when one of the guards fell off the bottom of our 2014 CMax, leaving several wires/cables exposed on the underside of the car. We were able to recover the guard itself and we didn't want to have the cables exposed for the rest of our trip. We called another Ford dealership a little further up the road, told them the situation and that we weren't looking for a permanent solution but asked could they please fit us in (knowing it would be a very quick repair) so we could make it home. And we were told, "No." There was absolutely no way they would be able to fit us in today, and weren't willing to really help us out at all. Well, we called Silva Ford and talked to Mike. He said they would be able to fit us in and take a look at it. We got to Silva and Mike quickly let us know that they wouldn't be able to perform a permanent fix because they would have to order the part (again, we couldn't wait because we're on our way home). It was at this moment that I was afraid we were again going to be turned away, but no! Mike said they would still squeeze us in and put the car up on the lift to see what they could do so we could get home safely without risking further damage to our car. We were able to go get lunch while we were waiting and when we got back the guard was securly back on our car. Was it a permanent fix? No. But it was a temporary one which is all we needed. And even more importantly Mike and the Silva Ford Service department were willing to go out of their way to HELP us out. They went the extra mile when most people aren't even willing to consider helping you. Thank you Mike and the Silva Ford Service department! First off, I wanna point out that I am not one to post a review but after my experience and then reading all the other reviews, I felt it was necessary. I did a rookie move and didn't read the reviews beforehand, which was a mistake. After reading the reviews that dated from 25 days ago to 5-6 years ago, I found a majority of them having the same if not a similar experiences to each other and as mine. This is how my Monday went: I found this car that I loved, it was everything I wanted plus more. A brand new 2022 Ford Mustang Ecoboost Premium. I called about this car and was told the price was as is, $47k, plus taxes and fees (such as license and etc). I drove about an hour from my hometown to Madera, in traffic and rain to look at this car and told them what I had in my pocket and my trade in and what payments I could work with. On the phone, I was told that they would work with me. However, after I got there, I was suddenly told (after they basically forced me to do a credit check, saying it was "necessary") that they add on this "Pro-Pack" which is basically is an accessory package they charge almost an additional $7k for. Now the pro pack is cool idea, I'm not going to lie but it's completely over priced for what it's worth. Everything they offer, you can find elsewhere and cheaper. They say it's not optional either, you have to at least buy two of the 5 items. They also try and pretend that they "waived" the dealer markups so you'd believe that the pro pack is a "good deal". So after telling them multiple times what I can work with, they proceeded to waste my time from then there out. They continued to bring me insanely high monthly payments and acting like it was a good deal. They said "oh your credit isn't good enough for the payments you want." Credit only determines your interest rate. I did research on Ford's website, the same car with the same interest rate they gave me, was still a cheaper monthly payment than what they tried to sell me. Told me to my face that the car that I want and know I can get for what I want, I can't have because it's too expensive for me or out of my budget. They made me feel like I was some brainless woman in all honesty. I wasn't listened to at all, they ignored all my questions. They claimed several times that customer service is their priority but after reading all the reviews, I'd say they are trying to over compensate somehow. Then they tried to lock me into leasing car, telling me it was my only option for getting a cheaper rate, even then it was still higher than what I wanted. They tried to latch me onto all this crap and I felt they were trying to take advantage of me because I am a "first time car buyer." I've done research and I know enough people to know what I'm talking about. I dealt with three different guys, Tony who was exceptional and very friendly, and then, Frank and Nelson. Frank, the guy at the very end even had the audacity to give me a rude attitude and tell me "No dealership sells a car at MSRP." Which I know that but they actually list that on the window sticker or are upfront with it, not lie to you and say it's a certain price. I assumed the markups were already totaled into the list price, like most dealerships do. I understand every dealership will do markups, but this was too much. (Almost $10k extra.) Even with the estimated markups, I'm still doing the math and getting a cheaper rate than what they "offered". They hide ALL these extra charges from you and then try to make you feel bad when you can't afford their insane markups. They seemed like decent people, which I'm sure they are outside of work. But as salesmen in the "customer service" aspect, they were not. Please be advised and don't do what I did. Read all the reviews and realize they will try to squeeze all the money they can out of you, then make you feel worthless and stupid after they add on their extra prices and try to call it "business". Just be warned. I will happily be taking my business to Lithia Ford of Fresno, where they actually can make what YOU want work. I recommend everyone go to Lithia. That is all. read more

This place sends shady vibes without even having to step foot into their lot. I keep getting "sweepstakes" junk mail from them, you know the kind where there's a scratch-off saying you win a grand prize, and then a key attached to the ad claiming I have a chance to win a car on top of all that. Today out of boredom, I scratch the ticket instead of throwing it away immediately like a sane person. Let me just say, that the "sweepstakes" supposedly runs for 5 days, and you only have until the end of the sweepstakes to claim that prize. Naturally, I receive the ad in the mail today at 4:30 PM and today also happens to be the final day of the sweepstakes. Gotta love how they purposefully plan for you to get the fucking thing LATE to send you into a rushed frenzy. Now, the ticket fucking swears to God almighty that I've won a 2013 Ford Fiesta (or technically, "1 of these great prizes." I'll include a photo of the ad and let you interpret it yourself) after matching 3 little Fiestas on their scratcher game. All I have to do is drive 45 minutes one way all the way to bum-fuck Madera and present this ad to them and I get to drive off into the sunset making out like a bandit without getting bum-rushed by a swarm of thirsty salesmen; the only ass-raping being I'd have to pay taxes on it. Of course, this all sounding too good to be true, I opt to call the dealership and get the real info on what exactly the fuck is going on. The flier has the address, website, zip code and even a MAP of the FUCKING DEALERSHIP are all conveniently there, but you guessed it- no phone number. Fucking shady fuckers. So I obtain their phone number through the magic of the internet, and they REFUSE to tell me what exactly I have won, being very vague with any information and telling me I HAVE to come down there by TONIGHT (they close at 7, I received the fucking thing at 4:30 PM that day and I live an easy 45 minutes away) to claim anything. I couldn't believe it. The woman on the phone acted like she had a fucking gun to her head, and if she divulged any useful information Bob Silva would pop off a couple shots to her dome. The conversation went something like: "Hey, I got one of your scratcher ads in the mail, it says I've won something." "Great! Come on down!" "I'd rather confirm what, if anything, I've won over the phone before I drive an hour and a half round-trip. I've matched 3 cars- so I win a car?" "Uhhh... I believe so." "You believe? Can I talk to someone that knows for sure?" "You have to come into the dealership to find out for sure, we're not allowed to tell you anything more over the phone." "I even have a prize confirmation code right here, why would you even need this, then?" ...and she basically kept giving me the run around about needing to go there right away before they closed and I missed out forever. I realize dealerships have been doing the whole "try this key on our car and if it starts the car, you win it" thing for a while to get people to come onto the lot, but this ad flat out telling me I've won a car but nobody being able to confirm that over the phone is just bullshit. Don't do it!!!! They had my truck for 6 weeks for warranty work, they took it apart right away then delayed and delayed on doing the repair so I couldn't even take it somewhere else!!! They lied to me about the ford corporate approval, said they were still waiting for info from corporate, so I called corporate and they said they had closed the case 2 weeks prior to that because the dealer did not respond to their information requests. Then they tried to say that ford wasnt going to cover the problem due to warranty issues, but corporate did end up approving once *I* provided the needed info because the dealer was not... in the end i was out of a truck for 7 weeks. I got the truck back 1 week ago and the new transmission that they put in? exploded!! Madera ford service dept made me an app twice and had no record of either one. I waited 1-1/2 months for that app. Then diagnosis was made after 3 weeks of waiting, and only after i had the recall center call them on a saturday at 1130 am. The following monday i was told they brought a trans tech in on saturday to diagnos but they close at noon so that didnt make sense. After the "diagnosis" i waited and waited again. I called after a week and half to speak w mechanic. They told me he would b gone until jan 4 2024! That was it. I went to pick up my car and told rep i would pay the 200 diagnostic fee but i wanted a copy of all the parts that were ordered. He said he couldnt do that cuz it would take too long but i didnt have to pay fee. It made me wonder if they even diagnosed it even though they were gonna charge warranty 3500 and me 550. So i took a pic of milege b4 leaving yard to check w paperwork i received when bringing it to them. Milege was EXACTLY the same. Since it was a bad clutch you would have thought they would test drive it first. Not to mention how did they call trans tech in on saturday to diagnose when they close at noon? I dont think they even looked at my car. They took almost 3 months of my time, 3 months of walking everywhere and im 65. Im going to put this out here but As a military member we have a bank that we have an option to bank with called navy federal and that specific bank does their best to look out for us military members. I've got a story for you guys.... My friend and I go in to maybe trade his car in for a new car. We do all the little things such as test drive the car, run some credit scores and get some offers for the trade in value. So we decide to move forward with the process. As we are on the phone with our bank "Navy federal" trying to proceed with the loan, the agent from the bank tells us that the offer the dealership is trying to purpose is 4 thousand dollars lower that the LOWEST TRADE IN VALUE. The car is in good condition and at this point we realize we were not even lowballed but disrespected. The store manager comes out and we ask the navy federal agent to repeat what he just said. After the Store manager of the dealership is listened to the agent he instantly started bashing on the trade in car. Saying it's not worth that much, the car is in bad condition and I quote " I wouldn't touch that car with the 10 ft pole." Is this how you talk to a customer? Serious question who is the customer, me? Or the store manager? At this point I was instantly mad but like I said not at the sales rep but the STORE MANAGER. The owner needs to have a talk with the STORE MANAGER. He was the only person who was rude and completely ruined my experience and impression at this Ford dealership. I had showed up in my 2019 Camaro that has about 74000 miles on it in good condition no mechanical problems and the car is registered in my mothers name. The reason for the back story is because DON walked in very rude not a nice to meet you just as soon as he walked in "If it's your mothers car why isn't she here" what he doesn't know is the reason MY CAR is in her name is because I'm 21 with building credit no previous credit History besides a couple thousand dollar credit cards which are paid off ON TIME NEVER LATE, she got a better interest rate when purchasing the car. So of course my mother bought it for me while I make every payment on time never late because of the better interest rate and payment like a normal person would do. Anyways he comes in very rude with that question and without letting me talk pulls up a paper from Kelly blue book trying to belittle me in front of everyone saying my car is only worth 16k and didn't even look at the car or take a look inside or out mind you and basically told me to not trade in and just buy the car they have. No that's no what I was going to do so I walked out and said no thanks. After leaving frustrated I looked at the paper he gave me about my car it said on the paper Fair. If you know Kelly blue book you know it gives you an option to pick the condition of the car. Fair, good, very good, and excellent. And on Fair it's described as the car "having mechanical problems and body issues" which my car has none of DOESNT matter if it has 74000 miles on it you didn't even take a chance to look at it because you didn't want a GAY MEXICAN YOUNG 21 year old man to thrive. DON who is supposed to be the finance manager would rather be homophobic and racist and little does he know my mother works for the better business bureau but no need for that karma is always coming back 10X. read more

This dealership is absolute garbage (if you can't already tell from the way it looks!). The customer service is atrocious! Several months back my girlfriend's vehicle was brought here for repair. The vehicle had to be repaired after a previous repair here failed, and prevented her car from starting. This dealership tried to point the finger at another dealership and had to all but be forced by corporate to repair the issue they caused. They provided no rental, had the vehicle for over a month, and gave no updates unless you called them 50 times and waited 30+ minutes to get someone to speak with you. After all that they tried to act like they did us a favor by fixing something they broke in the first place. Absolutely pathetic display of customer service. read more
