Usually my go to and haven't been here for a while. Was craving for the AYCE which says all day. Which isn't all day. I went for late dinner and they said the last seating is 9:30 pm and they close at 12 am. We got there at 9:50 which is still more than 2 hours before closing. Bummer. We decided to leave.

Food is solid for a late night k-bar. Fried chicken is decent and large sized which makes sharing easy. Best deal for Wednesday was the 10 tenders for $10. Tenders are large and uses same batter as the fried chicken wings and is definitely a great deal. Careful with the mango habanero sauce...it is pretty spicy! Fun vibe and great spot to watch sports and hang out with friends. Service can be a little slow and you have to ask for things all the time but not bad. Just slightly below average.

Hands down the best fried chicken! The flavors are amazing and the menu is shareable which I like. The staff were very kind and explained the menu with so much patience. We got the bbq and plain and it was full of flavor. I really enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the slow ambience, it's a great place for a date or a friend hangout. Everyone will find something they love, I'm sure of it!

Have not been at this location in a while. Found out that they have seafood boils now. Their all you can eat deals seem really good for the price. Might have to try that next time we come around as wifey and son love seafood. But for tonight we got the usual - small order to soy garlic wings, bulgogi over rice, fried dumplings and lil man wanted spicy so he got his own sweet and spicy wings and fries. Service was quick and attentive. Was seated right away. Plenty of tables open for seating. Provided with popcorn and water as soon as sat. Placed our order about 5 mins afterwards and waited about 20 mins for the fried chicken while other items came out first. Everything tasted great! Love the soy garlic flavor on the chicken and the dumplings. Lil man loved the sweet and spicy chicken. Place was clean. Music was the right volume to hear conversation. They had the ncaa games on the tv. Bathroom was clean as well.

Found this restaurant on a random google search looking for seafood boils, their specialty is korean chicken, which I wish I tried, I had the shrimp boil with lemon pepper sauce, I hated the sauce unfortunately. I took my leftovers home & added garlic butter & it was much better, the shrimp were soft which I liked, not over cooked. Lychee martini was good, my friend loved her shrimp, lobster & crab leg boil. She took the oreo churros home & they were old, she had to throw them out. I might return for the chicken only. The inside interior gives irish pub . The service was friendly, the AC was on high.

If you're craving for Korean fried chicken, this is your spot! Mad For Chicken is a popular Korean snack food chain. We dined here on Friday late afternoon, and it wasn't busy at all. They have lunch special for $14.95 that came with a drink. I got the Crispy Chicken Bowl with signature crispy chicken, Korean glass noodles, steamed vegetables, romaine, corn, pico, gucamole, hickory bbq sauce, crema and choice of white rice or quinoa. It was like Korean style Chipotle/Bibimbap bowl served in a claypot! It is delicious and has everything that you can possibly want in one bowl and every bite. Of course, we had to get the Korean fried chicken and Kimchi Fries to share. The chicken was crisp on the outside but so juicy on the inside. The spicy mayo on the kimchi fries elevated the dish with a kick. It's spicy, salty, crispy, and addicting! The place has a nice casual vibe with a full bar. This is a great spot to grab a quick bite to eat with a bunch of friends. For the first time, Yelp check-in, you get a free soju shot. I got the lychee soju - so good!

I've been to MFC since they first opened, they went through a lot of changes/adjustments over the years but overall decent place to eat. They started offering AYCE seafood boil and friend chicken, weekdays before 5pm is $29.99, snow crab is not included and last serving is around 3 or 3:30 pm from what the waitress told me. So I went here on a Friday afternoon, initially the place was almost empty but later on more business picked up. There was not much staff, and sometimes it was hard to get their attention. But they were overall nice. The AYCE offers seafood boil, Korean fried chicken, salad, fries, sides, and soft drinks. The boil is served "family style", all served in a tray. For the seafood boil you can only order one sauce at a time, and they will charge if there is leftover food and do not offer takeout containers. There is a 90 min time limit. Shrimp was cleaned and easy to peel, there were two types of oysters (green vs black), crawfish, and clams. I would opt for the oysters and shrimp, the clams are quite small and majority of the shells were empty when we got them. I recommend getting the cavatappi pasta, eggs, potatos, and corn. They also offer sausages, rice cake, ramen, etc. Overall would recommend especially with the weekday price, but I believe there are better seafood boils in queens.

Went to try their AYCE menu as I saw an ad on Instagram. It was definitely worth it. Food came out quick, they brought out new menus without a question. I would definitely come back. Food quality was on point as well.

Yummy food, great ambience, good drinks. What else can you ask for! Korean chicken is always a good choice and Mad for Chicken knows how to deliver flawless.

My good friend and I decided to host a group get-together. Two months ago, I made a reservation for today. The ambiance was perfect for brunch, lunch, and dinner dates. It has been four years since my last visit to my favorite MFC location. I am back! Food *sharing is caring* Parmesan Truffle Fries: The fries were crispy and yummy. Poutine Fries: The crispy fries topped with bulgogi, corn, onions, and gravy were yummy. Bulgogi Toppoki Japchae: The rice cake, bulgogi, and Korean glass noodles were delicious. Signature Wings Medium (Soy Garlic): The fried chicken wings were finger-licking goodness. I am Team Wings for Life! Combo Large (Half & Half) + Mango Habanero Dipping Sauce Celery and Carrot Avocado Salad Drinks Sparkling Juice (Lychee): sweet and refreshingly delicious Taro Milkshake Iced Tea (Citron) Sam Adams Pint Thanks to all my friends for attending! Thanks to Manager Paul for accommodating my requests! Thanks to Server Hayoung for providing excellent service to my table!

Came here to try the seafood boil menu. We ordered both the Signature and Garlic Butter sauces. The Garlic Butter is more on the sweet side than savory, but otherwise the two sauces taste pretty similar. The fried chicken is still a very solid choice. Just a heads up, the orders do take a while to come, so I recommend getting some appetizers as snacks or enjoying the complimentary popcorn while you wait.

I went for the AYCE lunch, but the group decided to get wanted crab legs, so we opted for the AYCE dinner instead. There were a few additional appetizers, like bulgogi over rice and toppoki. These appetizers were pretty good, but the real winner is the chicken. Still just as crispy and delicious as I remember from earlier. The boil was okay imo. Crab was hit or miss, some pieces seemed to not be the best quality. We often tried to ask for extra crab, but it would just come one cluster per person at a time. If I were to return, I would go for the lunch and mostly get the chicken, which was the real star of the show.

Tteokbokki is considered street food and its literally rice & fish cakes. And they give you 3 pieces of ginmari. No reason it should be $19. Then for rosé flavor, which is literally just adding heavy cream to the sauce, is an extra $6. Then we ordered the 10 wing + 5 drumstick combo and we asked for half/half sauce assuming half of the 15 pieces are one sauce and the second half is another sauce. First off, they charge you $2 for sauce, which is fine but tell me why they charged us $2 FOUR times. So $8 total for sauce bc they separated the 10 wings into 5 and 5 and put one sauce each and they charged $2 each for that. And then they separated the 5 drumsticks into 3 and 2 and put one sauce each and charged $2 each for that. So total for 10 wings & 5 drumsticks was around $44. I've literally been to every korean fried chicken place on northern blvd and never have they separated the chicken like that and charged the sauces that way. Like why are you charging us for sauce 4 times when it is one single order of chicken. Never coming back here. Its a legit rip off. On top of that, they charge you for to-go containers, which is free at every restaurant. They just charge you exorbitant prices for literally every single thing here. We spent $85, not including tip, on tteokbokki, 15 pc of chicken & an order of fries.

However, when I went recently, the service was absolutely horrible. I waited around 10-15 minutes before being acknowledged to just be seated which I thought was outrageous because there were only 3 tables at the moment. Once they seated me, they seated my nieces and I right next to the door when there were many tables still open inside the store. I understand that there were adults drinking within the store however this was one of the coldest days this winter and having kids right next to the door was a little irritating. Putting that aside, after I was seated, I did have to wait for one more person at my table so it was okay that I was never approached for my order to be taken (even though I was ready). But once the last person from my party arrived, we still waited a decent 20-25 minutes before our server asked us if we were ready to order! My sister and I were even already discussing leaving and trying other options for dinner because we saw the server only attending to the other tables or just on her phone. The lighting was dim as expected for a bar/gastropub and the woman serving us was friendly dealing with our group as best as she could. I presume the majority of people here are to drink and have anju but I was the only drinker of the night having a Terra which is a light lager. There was a large one and a smaller one and I had a large which worked with the food and I think it was around $10 or so. The first thing that arrived was the Sausage & Rice Cake Skewer in Sweet Spicy Sauce/So-tteok So-tteok/소떡소떡 which is $7 for 2 pieces. I've had this prior and it was good here. The rice cakes/tteok had a good texture with a bit of a crisp which was nice with the slightly sweet sausage. The sauce had a slight spiciness to them and paired nicely as always. The Fried Jokbal/족발/Pig Feet With Scallion Salad for $18 was very good. Said jokbal had a good mix of fat to meat with a good crunch on the outside and there were plenty of pieces to share. The scallion salad had I believe some gochujang on it or something similar. Favorite of the smaller plates was the Stir-fried Beef Belly/Chadolbagi/차돌박이 With Bean Sprouts for $22. The meat was very tender and flavorful with the sprouts cooked down well. There was also some raw vegetables on top covered with some dried chili seeds which added a nice spice and pop. I would recommend this also. The Rose Sauce Spicy Rice Cakes/Rosé Tteokbokki/로제 떡볶이 for $16 which is also available for $2 more with cheese was pretty tasty. It had a mildly creamy sauce, bacon & some pieces of Gimmari/김말이 fried seaweed rolls which was a nice touch. The rice cakes had a pretty good texture though I would have preferred it a bit spicier but I expected the slightly mild sauce due to the rosé variety. This was fine with a pretty good sized portion. The Kimchi Fried Rice/Kimchi-bokkeumbap/김치볶음밥 With Egg & Cheese In Sizzling Plate for $15 was a bit below average. The kimchi flavor wasn't nearly as strong as I would have liked with it being mostly eggy and I found that it was cooked better at some other spots. I have preferred versions much more at many other Korean spots even in Manhattan's KTown like Five Senses for instance among others. The Kimchi Pancake/Kimchijeon/김치전 for $13 was below average outside of the price point (at least compared to Manhattan Koreatown but that is probably different in Murray Hill.) The kimchi flavor like in the fried rice was a bit muted and it didn't have as much of a crisp I like at the ends. I wouldn't recommend it much. While I could not have it due to a severe cephalopod allergy, the rest of the people disliked the Spicy Stir-Fried Octopus/Nakji-Bokkeum/낙지볶음 for $22. I tried a bit of the sauce which was nice and spicy but apparently the octopus itself was very chewy (it did look overcooked.) Our final plate was from their specialties which was the Pork Baby Back Ribs in Sweet Spicy Sauce Served With Udon and Mozzarella/Maeun Dwaeji Galbijjim/돼지등갈비 철판 for $45. As per the price, the plate was massive with several large very tender pork ribs which had a nice mix of sweetness and spiciness though I do wish they were a little bit spicier though if I recall correctly, someone had asked him to tone it down a bit. This came with more gimmari as well and my favorite part was when the sauce and meat juices had cooked down and burnt slightly as it added a nice touch. If we didn't get the bokkeumbap before, I likely would have preferred the fried rice with the rest of this instead. This was a pretty good though inconsistent Korean meal. Oddly, the kimchi based dishes were the weakest thing here and stuff in general felt a bit lighter than most pocha I have been to. We have a couple tasty dishes and I might go back but it is more likely that if I go to this far off neighborhood again, I would go somewhere else instead.
