    Food was so good

Amazing food, service was amazing. The food was top notch. I highly recommend this place to take you and any other person.

Pretty great selection and variety of dishes! Tasty and flavorful without being too salty. The julienned scallions were fresh and refreshing. Attentive service and food was quick to come out in stages. The chicken is advertised to be certified halal, which seemed to be a big selling point. There was enough seating for multiple small groups inside. Would come back when I'm craving these menu items!

Admittedly, my favorite form of Korean food is Korean BBQ. However, I'm frequently trying to convince myself that maybe I enjoy other forms of Korean food. This place did not help me do this. We started with the seafood pancake. The picture does it way too much justice, as it is infinitely smaller than it seems in the pictures (even ours) and really not worth it. For the mains, we went with the spicy udon and house beef bulgogi. The former was fine-udon noodles will always be fine. The chicken really added nothing to it. The beef bulgogi was really where I had more of an issue. The lightly fried tofu was a nicer addition. However, I still truly do not understand what we paid for. The dish is called "bulgogi (stir fried beef)" and in the description includes that it has marinated slices of beef. However, when going to order it online, I was charged $5 to add beef. I thought maybe this meant I was adding extra beef, but this certainly cannot be the case with the amount of beef we were given. Overall, while the food was very fine, the price just wasn't worth it. The $25 price point for the bulgogi dish was regretful. Finally, I was super interested in ordering chicken wings as so many of the reviews raved about these. There must have been a menu change in the interim, though, as the prices for even the smallest of chicken wings (10 pieces at $20) was not something I was going to pursue. Probably would have enjoyed the meal if it hadn't been so costly for an undetermined reason, which is unfortunate.

Spicy udon with shrimp And also corn cheese

Great food and great service, highly recommend their spicy udon with shrimp as well as their corn cheese and boneless wings (soy garlic). Only con is that they are closed from 2:30-5 and on the weekend the place is packed and the waitlist has a 1- 1 1/2 hour wait. Great place overall, highly recommend!

Came back to Modoo and they did not disappoint. Absolutely love the sweet soy chicken perfect amount of crispiness, sweetness and tang. The service is always top tier as well. Polite staff and good tasting food will always win me over

BLUF: We've had better. Our first visit to Modoo felt lacking. The appetizers seemed to be store-bought, while the main entrée seemed lackadaisically made. We ordered: - Beef Bulgogi Udon Soup: $15.99 ($17.41 with tax). The beef and egg were over-cooked. The udon and broth were OK, though the udon seemed store-bought -- it was missing a chew and springiness characteristic of freshly-made noodles. - Shrimp Tempura: $9.99 ($10.88 with tax). Perfectly air-fried, no grease. The uniform nature of these pieces suggest they are store-bought, rather than home-made. - Seafood Pancake: $7.99 ($8.70 with tax) Over-fried, not greasy. Most likely store-bought, also. The air conditioning wasn't working when we visited, but there was a large fan and dehumidifier in operation. Service was good, but the overall experience felt somewhat pointless. If I wanted store-bought food, I could have bought and re-heated it myself. Suggested tips are based on pre-tax subtotals, and start at 18%.

Wwwwwooooooooo try this broth!!! I got the spicy beef ramen and wow! That was unexpectedly good! My girl got the katsu set, chicken, that was really good too. I like the service here the atmosphere is nice and the music is at a perfect level. My first time here and definitely coming back to try everything else, dumplings were so soft and juicy (steamed beef) the hot sauce is HAWTTTT WOWZERSZZZ P.S they got free soft drinks, ask how !

Great menu! The chicken thighs in buffalo maple sauce was amazing! 20 thigh pieces for the same price of 10 wings! Got the spicy beef ramen which was a bit spicy, maybe I would have enjoyed it more eating it in the cold weather but we had it outside in the summer. The oxtail ramen has a creamy broth and I preferred it over the spicy beef ramen. Would come again and again and again! Loved it!

We've been here in the past and remember the spicy chicken ramen being good. This time it was really bad. The broth had barely flavor at all so the ramen tasted quite like plain noodles. In the past I remember it being much better. Will probably give it one more shot due to the past flavor. Their service was awesome the people are really nice. The modoo fries were pretty good

Got the oxtail ramen last time which I didn't like. It was salty but bland otherwise. Also got steamed beef dumplings which I didn't really like. Not as good as the Tibetan or Nepali dumplings. Plus, the filling was pretty meager. This time, we got 10pc wings ($20) with sweet chili sauce. It wasn't really spicy but it was pretty sweet. They were slightly crunchy & good. The dumpling ramen was bland. They charge $1 for extra sauce so we got a spicy sauce for the bland broth. The dumplings were again not as good as Tibetan or Nepali ones. I got a chicken cheese Katsu set which was hella bland had it not been for the super strong sauce (idk what kind) of sauce on the side.

I can't believe I never wrote a review for Modoo. Since the first time I had it a few years ago, I haven't stopped thinking about their chicken katsu curry. Last night I got to return and discovered they now have a CHEESE chicken katsu and you best believe I asked to have that paired with their curry set with some bulgogi on the side. Now the chicken has zero seasoning but the curry and the dressing on the salad gives it all flavor though on its own it's delicious with the addition of cheese but the meat is flavorless. Would love some seasoning. The bulgogi side is five bucks and it's so tiny. Better to order their bulgogi fries or something which is twelve bucks and it's an enormous bowl (I didn't order it but saw a lady eating it and was shook by the portion--something to order for next time). The vegetable pancake was delicious but so tiny for 8 bucks. If it came with an order of two I think I would've been happier with the price. Otherwise, the kitchen is super slow but doesn't bother me whatsoever. Nice to know everything is being made fresh. Just make sure you have lots to talk about with your company while you wait. The wait staff were lovely. Bathroom is present. The only thing is when the door is open, it's absolutely freezing and there's few tables available so you might be having to wait a little while to sit down and eat. Personally did not like their so it beef ramen but my friend swears by it (I might just not like ramen I think). It's definitely more of a 4.5 stars for me but considering how they occupy my mind 24 hours later still, I think a 5 is earned.

Such a cute place! Almost missed it because the sign didn't say Modoo, only Chicken & Noodle Bar. Came here on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm and got seated pretty quickly. It started to pick up and restaurant got full about 30 mins after. My cousin and I ordered French Fries, soy garlic chicken wings, Ox tail ramen, and C&N Chicken Katsu Udon. - French Fries were okay. They as basic as they can get. Had to dip it in the soy garlic chicken wing sauce to have some yum to it - Soy garlic chicken wings - Wowza. When it came out, the smell of the wings were mouthwatering delicious. I couldn't wait to devour them. And when I did, I very much devoured them. The wings were well fried/crispy and the soy garlic sauce was just perfect. - Ox tail ramen - definitely unique because I don't think I've ever had ox tail in ramen before. Soup base was very tasty and the ox tail was yummy! - C&N Chicken Katsu Udon - Pretty standard, nothing spectacular but definitely gotta finish the chicken katsu quick before it gets soggy from being in the soup . Staff was very welcoming and attentive! There is also plenty of parking around the area.

I could have gotten many refills but I was dining with my wife and kids, and only opted for 1 refill. I got the tonkatsu ramen with garlic which is my go to ramen. When you finish your ramen and broth, you would check at the bottom of your bowl to see if you won or not. I have never won except this time!! I really liked attention that went into the decors at this place. There are Japanese wooden prayer cards hanging on the walls. Some seatings are encapsulated in honey comb-shaped panels. Everything was made out of wood from tables to chairs to napkin holders and condiment jars. For appetizers, we had the Japanese fried oyster and calamari. Both were delicious especially the oysters that were popping out in the middle. I got the Yin Yang ramen which apparently was inspired by the yin yang hot pot with split broths. I immediately took a liking to this novel idea since I did want to try two different broths. I believe the red spicy side was miso-based, while the white side was tonkotsu. I quite enjoyed the red side as it was flavorful. The tonkotsu broth was a bit underwhelming as I thought it was pretty bland tasting. I also wished that it was served warmer. What I got was a bit tepid. Not pictured: my friend got the same ramen but his piece of the pork belly consisted entirely of fat with no lean meat. That was a bit disappointing. Despite the aforementioned misses, I did enjoy dining here and look forward to coming back and try their Omurice.
