There was one package price listed. I ordered them as such. I then received a shipping notification for the bindings with a separate price. I called immediately to cancel the order as I knew that having bindings mounted was not cheap. This was not what I budgeted for. I was told that everything was shipped, so the order could not be cancelled, but to call back when I received everything for an adjustment or to return the equipment. Btw, when ordering I was offered a 15% coupon, but then at checkout was told it didn't apply to my order. When I received the order, I checked with local ski shops and $100 was the lowest price I could find for mounting. I spent a half hour on the phone with a polite, understanding customer service rep inquiring about some type of credit. $25 was the offer. I pointed out how the ad was misleading, an offered coupon was not honored, and it would cost them more if I returned everything. I simply wanted at least half of the mounting cost reimbursed. The most frustrating aspect of this customer service interaction was that a supervisor will not get on the phone. The poor rep had to keep going back and forth. When she told me she could escalate the issue to a supervisor, I readily agreed, but she pointed out they would respond by email! THEY WILL NEVER GET ON THE PHONE AND SPEAK WITH SOMEONE!!! Sorry, that's horrible policy and I would discourage anyone from patronizing this business.

Beware when ordering ski boots as part of a package deal…read more Be sure of availability of sizes of ski boots with a package your purchase. I returned my boots and wanted to get the next size up. Since there were none available in my size, I received a refund (based on package pricing (about $80). If I want to get a larger size boot, I need to select another model/brand and pay the regular (non-package deal price), which means will need to spend approximately $200 more for a comparable boot, not including the $44 it cost to ship the first pair back. I do not recommend purchasing boots if you are not absolutely sure of the size you need. When I asked about the return, customer service said "We always recommend to go in and try different boots on before purchasing online". I was never given (nor saw online) this recommendation.

We had an issue with my sons bike and needed to get the brakes replaced after a month of having the bike. It was a warranty fix and so there was no cost to us but it took a very long time and there was zero communication. We had to call for updates and finally had to call and ask when it would be ready just to find out it had been ready for a few days but we had received no communication it was ready. That was a big disappointment and frustration.

Worse, the bike now only shifts through half its gears (it worked perfectly before), and the "repaired" tire went flat after one ride in my driveway. When I tried to inflate it, the tube popped at only **10 psi**, indicating a faulty installation. **Bike #2:** The experience with my wife's bike was even worse. The quote spiraled from a tune-up to a total of $365 as they continually found "new" problems, including issues with a derailleur that had zero problems previously. **Customer Service:** Jerry's communication style is aggressive and condescending. When I questioned the mounting costs, he used scare tactics, repeatedly telling me the bike was "dangerous" and "unsafe to ride" to pressure me into more repairs. When I tried to voice my concerns about being nickel-and-dimed during this three-week ordeal, I was laughed at and hung up on three separate times. I was even insulted personally when he told me he "would have never let his bike get this bad." This shop relies on upselling through fear and has zero respect for its customers. Save your money and go somewhere that values integrity and basic mechanical competence.

Cannondale insisted on a Hangar 15 location for assembly, so I chose this one. The assembly was alright outside of one crushed cable leading to the headlight. The one thing I can't forgive is the process of dealing with that single issue. There are two lights on the bike: a running light and a headlight. This Hangar 15 location insisted that the headlight was disabled due to the presence of the running light. That didn't sound right, so I went back and asked again. During the follow up, the response was bizarrely aggressive. So, I read every bit of documentation on the bike and found Cannondale sucks at documenting literally anything about their bikes. Nothing in the documentation was useful. Contacting Cannondale was similarly fruitless. The Cannondale customer service email guy had no comment on the headlight/running light. I needed to get the cable to the headlight fixed anyway, so I submitted a warranty claim. Cannondale once again insisted on a Hangar 15 location, so I went to the Orem store. Those guys were substantially more professional. They were able to get a response from Cannondale. The running light/headlight dynamic relies on a light sensor. The headlight was just broken. All H15 Lehi had to do was call Cannondale, and they didn't even bother. If you want good customer service, this is the wrong location. Go to the Orem location instead. The Draper location is also probably better. I will never go back to Hangar 15 Lehi. (They get 2 stars because the documentation for that specific bike was so awful. Cannondale should be updating that particular section soon. Again just to be fair, I probably won't buy another Cannondale.)

Alas, they were completely sold out. But Kristy at Ari calmed me down and scoured the factory and the showroom and the demo bikes and found one for me. I thought I would need a large but she did the custom fit thing and suggested a medium (she was right!). Unfortunately it arrived with a broken battery key-release mechanism. So here's where the rubber meets the trail: they sent me a new mechanism pronto and now I am riding and I'm super happy with this beautiful machine. I wanted the cheaper Comp version, only the Elite was available but man, I am happy with the upgrades, especially the shifting. Other people besides Kristy helped me but I don't know their names. The bike I got wasn't fully set up and in just the second ride the chain jumped between the sprocket and spokes, broke three spokes and bent the rim, hanger, and derailleur arm. Since then there has always been something wrong with it. I think I've been fixing/adjusting something every other week for 2 years now. It has ended up being an okay commuter bike (I ride about 4 miles to-and-from work every day) for the last 2 years, so it gets a lot of use. Maybe that explains the frequent troubles. I guess it's good if you like practicing your bike repairs.

While on vacation in Utah with our car and two road bikes, we had a…read morevery serious car accident and our bikes flew off the rack and landed harshly near our totaled car. My husband had to spend four days at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo for broken vertebrae, ribs and sternum. I had to retrieve the broken bikes from the tow yard 2.5 hours away and then figure out how to fly back to California. So glad I called Hangar 5 in Orem! Preston Weeks answered my call/cry for help and graciously greeted me in my rental van with all the contents of our road trip including the broken bikes. He took the dirty bikes from the van and agreed to clean them up and inspect the damage, which allowed me to fly back to California with my husband. Two days later he sent us a detailed inventory of damages to the frame and components for each bike. Subsequently he meticulously packed up both bikes and parts at our request and shipped them back to us so that we could salvage all that was still usable. Since we are not local to Orem, it was exceptional to experience this level of consideration and service. All of you locals are very lucky to have such an amazing bike shop and team members like Preston Weeks to take care of your cycling needs. I highly recommend this shop and if we are ever in the area again, I will definitely be visiting Hangar 15. Simply amazing!

Ali refused, wouldn't give me a refund for the battery replacement, and wouldn't replace my watch, even though they did not make sure the watch was sealed properly. He claimed it was wear and tear, and that it was my fault and he doesn't take responsibility. NEVER trust them with your more expensive jewelry, considering this is how they treat cheap $100 G Shocks.

They came to cut down a VERY large Evergreen pine tree--72 years old and about 100 ft tall. They worked with the power company because our electrical connection to the power lines prohibited chopping it down easily. When the power company missed appointments set to address the issue, it threw a monkey wrench into their ability to take care of us as they wanted. But they weren't thwarted. Though it took a more circuitous route, they effectively took huge branches off, then felled the main trunk. Finally, they cleaned up all the leavings. They were excellent at what they did. They exhibited creativity in crafting solutions for such a daunting problem in a small space. They were very respectful in all their communication. We would highly recommend this team. We found them to be completely honest. We hope others will find this review very helpful, and we wish them all the best.

Last week I went into Mad Dog Cycles to get some cycling gloves. I was being helped by Chris Bradford for some gloves. In the conversation, he asked the right questions to make sure I was satisfied with my service and determined that my de-railers have had problems, though I hardly use it. He was knowledgable enough to know that my Shimano 105's have had a history of problems which might still be covered under warrantee, though it's been longer than the year of usual warrantee. I brought my bike back into the shop and will have this problem finally resolved. I've found that the team at Mad Dog is there to make my experience in cycling the best it can possibly be. My experience has been all positive and no pressure. read more

Wasn't the biggest fan of this bike shop after a few visits. I hate having to be negative but as we have been here the front staff weren't the kindest to us and when we gave our bike it came back broken. After noticing a part was broken we had to come all the way back to get it Fixed again. I'm all for giving bike shops a Try but overall wasn't impressed with this location. If you are looking for a shop with good Mountain bike gear they have quite a stock which is very nice. Not much TRI or road. read more

I bought a Trek SL the other day. I just today took it out for a ride. So fun to ride it. Steve was my salesman and he did an awesome job helping me to find the right bike and to make sure it fit me. He made sure that I was happy with my bike and the things that I picked out to go on it. Plus the Trek Fest made it a little easier on my wallet. After I made my purchase he helped me load the bike into the car. He then called me to say that he not included an important item. He then personally delivered it to my home after work. I realized if I hurried I could get there by about 6:30pm I got down there and they were able to fix the brakes by adding brake fluid in under 10 minutes. it was almost completely empty. I asked him how much I owed him and he said nothing. I will be taking all my future bike repairs to Hangar 15. All the employees are super friendly. It's a great place for bike repairs and new bikes.

I needed a new dropper post and did t order it in time from my local bike shop. One of their other stores had it and sent it over. They install my new dropper post and I realize my calculations were off somehow and I probably needed the next size up. They dont have it, but one of their other stores does. I ask them to put my dropper back on, I'll go on my ride with my friend in the morning and then go to their other shop after our ride to get it. They asked me if I wanted them to just take the new dropper out, or install my old one. I told them I'd appreciate them reinstalling my old one so that I can at least go ride with my friend in the morning and then go to their other shop for the correct dropper. They said it'd $45 for them to reinstall my dropper. I said seriously!?! That's outrageous. Nevermind then, my friend and I will install it. Then they told me I owe them $32 for them putting in and taking out the new dropper post. I understand $5-10 or something for the cable, but $32 for that and then telling me it'd be $45 to put my old one back on! Thanks for ruining a ride for me. I had a feeling I'd regret going to them and I truly do. Makes me truly appreciate the amazing, wonderful and true family customer service of Over the Edge! Where you're family and they treat you as such! Where they know and practice true customer service! True southern hospitality. Not this nickel and dime you and screw you over crap by rude staff that's going to rape you financially for everything they can and apparently never learned what true customer service is. I'll deal with my old dropper post for this trip and wait to get back home to support a shop where they genuinely care about their customers! Where you're family and treated as such! Where they care about you and your riding experience and you feel that.! Not this corporate atmosphere where they seem to only care about your money.
