Asked if they repaired "e-bike" flat tires said yes it's $25 for the tube and $10 for labor. But when I took it into the shop he said oh I didn't know it was a e-bike and told me I didn't tell him so labor is $35. Got it done in a short amount of time though. read more

I was quoted a price when I brought my bike into them for repairs, when I pick my bike up, the price had almost doubled. When I asked them for a cash register receipt and an invoice he wrote out an invoice by hand and then told me the cash register was out of paper so he could not give me a receipt. Surprise surprise, I'm sure he pocketed the extra money. read more

I asked this place if they would be able to pick up my bike to be worked on, and they said "sure, we'll call you in a couple hours for an appointment time." They didn't call me, so I called them back the next day. No apology, they said they'd call me back in the morning. They didn't call me back in the morning. I called them and they said they'd call me tomorrow. Guess what? They didn't call me the next day. This whole week I've been staying at home doing nothing because I've been waiting for them to call me. And yet I was completely nice and polite with them this entire time. I gave up and found somewhere else that can help me. They finally called me today, about a week after my first call, and the man who called was completely condescending and kept cutting me off when I tried telling him I found someone else to help. I'd highly suggest not working with this business in any capacity. read more

Great shop. The shop does primarily repairs of all brands. I have a good number of higher end bikes and have been very impressed with their speed, quality and just downright honesty in terms of what I need for my bikes. Great value for the money in terms of their rates and their mechanical expertise. Plus, the owners are just genuinely good peoples. read more

Popped a tube on an early morning bike ride Saturday and brought it here to get fixed. They told me that they probably wouldn't get to it that day (ok maybe they were really busy?) but that it would be done Monday. Called Monday at 2 and they said it was done. Showed up at 6 to get it and he said, "oh just give us a couple minutes to get the tube put in." ...so they hadn't even started it? And if it only really takes about 5 minutes to get the tube in then why did it take two days? They did do a good job repairing the tube, and it was affordable so that's a plus. Maybe this was a one time oversight or they were really swamped, who knows, but I'm not sure if I'll come back except in a pinch since they are really close to were I live. read more

Not a huge fan of the way this place does business. We were told it would take a day or two for a simple tune up, but they never called us on the day they said it would be ready. When we went to the store the next week there was a sign on the door saying they were closed for a state holiday when we were not notified of the closure. You also cannot leave a message in their answering machine for some reason. If you are thinking of taking your road bike in for a simple tune up, find another place. read more

Great Shop! Never try to sell me upgrades for my older enduro bike like many shops do. Always get exactly what I asked for without the run around. Local knowledge of trails and tune bikes to the conditions. They also never make you feel lame if you have an older "worn in" bike. read more

If you're an avid biker, you already know Phil and Will are amongst the best in the valley. Surprised to see anything less than a 5 star review. That said, nobody is perfect. However, they will make fewer mistakes than any other shop, they are extremely talented at what they do, and very down to earth. If you're new to biking or just a weekend warrior, please take note. This IS absolutely where to go to get your bike fixed. I've had them work regularly on my fat bike, trail bike, and downhill bike. They always come back better than I could have imagined. Lastly, last Christmas, I bought a really ruffed up bike for $125. I had some friends donate some parts and asked Laketown if they could resurrect the bike. They sure did, but once they found out that I was donating the bike, they threw in some of their own parts for free and donated all of their labor without me asking! The bike is now worth closer to $1k and I was able to give it to the young man for Christmas. It was his first real mountain bike. It's been awesome to see him progress. He's already hitting some of the larger table tops at Ogden Bike Park. Thanks again Laketown! read more
