Filthy seating in the women's lounge.

What happened to the reputation of Macy's through the years? This is one of the most beloved places I loved going to when I was a child in San Francisco with my dad and siblings. The store was always bustling with professional service and you can get merchandise at good prices. Unfortunately now with technology and online purchases being more convenient and affordable with sometimes free shipping for the consumer, I have a feeling this major department store will soon no longer exist; i.e., Montgomery Wards, The Emporium, Mervyns, Sears, JCPenney. The Fairfield Macy's is sad to shop at. There aren't that many customers shopping and sales people to look for. I wanted to purchase a Fitbit watch on sale and no one was at the counter. We waited 15 minutes and no one came or checked to see if we needed assistance. We decided to walk around the floor and finally found someone that can help us. The prices on some of the non-sale clothes are outrageous for something you won't wear often, only to sit in your closet for years. The clearance racks are a mess and are placed in the far corner of each designer's section. It is dusty and smells horrid in that little corner. And then there's the women's restroom on the third floor ... it is so outdated and dirty. No toilet seat covers, filthy, some stalls were out of order. The women's lounge was dirty and the couch ... Keep your distance from it, LOL! Thank goodness, I hardly shop at this Macy's anymore. I miss the Macy's of the 1960s; times have changed.

your interest rate is so high When you go to the shoe department, the shoes aren't available. The service sucks. Nobody's there to help you.

You can buy "dress clothes" anywhere but, the Men's Wearhouse Fairfield location is the only place you will get excellent customer service & product knowledge from professional subject matter experts. I visited several other clothing establishments trying to piece together an outfit for my special event, and their customer service was non-existent. Gustavo, and A.J. were extremely helpful determining my hard to fit sizes, and helped me find the exact articles I was looking for. I grew up in the 80's listening to George Zimmer saying; "You're going to love the way you look, I guarantee it". And it still rings true today. Thank you from a grateful customer since 1999.

When I asked how I was supposed to know how it would look, i was told to use my imagination!!! Exact words!!! True to words I was fitted and none of the items I was wearing, were anything near the look I wanted, I left highly disappointed, The customer service in this store is atrocious. Why do I have to wait till 3 days before a very important event, to know whether Im going to like the look they seem to care very little about ??

But…read morethen the cashier completely ignored me when i was next in line and turned around to talk to her coworker while i waited for at least a minute. Then she finally started to help me, and turned back around AGAIN to gossip about their coworker who had just come in late. Finally after her coworker realized I was just standing there for hella long, she started checking me out. She asked if I had an account, and her tone of voice was very different and rude compared to how she was speaking to her coworker. I gave her my number, and tbh i'm pretty sure she didn't even enter it in. So i won't get my points. She continued to talk to her coworker about the late girl "she was 23 minutes late blah blah" (girlll... why u care if she was late? u can't even do YOUR job). I waited for her to put my item in the bag along with my receipt and then i took it and walked out. Whole time she was talking to the other girl. No "here you go", "thanks for coming in", "have a nice day". I'm not a picky customer, and I work in retail so i understand socializing with coworkers. I would have been fine if she was multitasking and checking me out WHILE gossiping, girl that's fine. But to act like you aren't being paid to be at work and pretend like i don't exist? Crazy. All i can do is blame the fairfield school system, really failed all these low iq teenagers that work at this mall fr.
