My order was a total combination of flavor and culture weaved together with macaroni, creamy cheese, and curry chicken. When you open the package you can smell the hint of Caribbean curry seasoning. Service was pretty quick being I had something simple but heard the actual meals take a little time, freshly made. I had their cappuccino and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. Both were delicious. New spot on the block! I had the opportunity to try Mac Shack for the first time over the weekend, and I was definitely pleased by my food experience. We ordered, in small, the meat lovers mac, the BK claw (lobster), and a 6 piece of buffalo wings. The small size was actually quite large, enough for us both to have leftovers for the next day. I was very glad that the lobster was abundant and well distributed in my mac. The meat lovers was also good, and they baked the pepperoni on top. On the subject of baked, this is definitely a hybrid of baked and more saucey mac. Cheese is baked on top, with more of a cheese sauce within the noodles. Our orders were served pretty hot though, and I think it may have set more firmly if cooled. The wings were solid. We had buffalo so I can't comment on their other sauces, but I plan to order again. I should also note that they have daily lunch specials featuring a different mac each day, including non-mac options. And for the vegan crew, they haven't forgotten about you! They have vegan mac options as well. Ordering was easy but our food did take about twice the estimated time to be ready. I'm willing to chalk this up to opening weekend kinks and I'm sure they'll smooth things out as time goes on. One last thing - there is cake! Food is delicious. Food isn't rushed so it's always hot and flavorful. I've been supporting this establishment since they have first open. One thing I have learned during this pandemic alot of restaurants are charging a card credit fee. On this day I paid with cash and they charged me with credit card fee.. I explained to the server CIYAN the fee did not come off and my change wasn't correct. He told me no everything was correct and even printed another receipt with a different credit card fee. While I was waiting to speak with the manager the UNPROFESSIONAL and incompetent server threw my bag of food at me. Today I went to Mac Shack and ordered 2 of their combo 1 special. The combo 1 comes with 2 pieces of bake chicken and a side of classic Mack and cheese. The Mac and cheese and chicken was delicious. My only complaint is that i wish I could have had more chicken. $13 for a combo is a good bargain so I won't judge too harshly and the food was great. read more
