    s'mores latte!
    Sanjana N.

dropped in for a quick coffee while i waited for a hair appointment and was very pleased! i got the s'mores latte which was super sweet and strong and left me absolutely buzzing- would definitely love to try some of their evening events and drink specials next time i'm in the area

I had been eager to inevitably try Mañana and while having a staycation in downtown Austin for a wedding nearby, my girlfriend and I made a pit stop to Mañana to give it a shot. As we got there, there was a line to the door. It was right off the path of the Ann and Roy Butler Trail, so many people were stopping by post workout. A group of bikers at the bike shop next door had also stopped by. It was busy! The line moved pretty hastily, and before we knew it, it was our turn to order. My girlfriend ordered a latte using their new ube cold foam while I got a traditional vanilla latte. For 2 coffees, it was almost $20, which is pretty intense even for Austin. If the coffee cleared, I'd make a case. As the Fcukers played inside the shop, we hung around waiting for our coffee until it was ready. The inside was kinda small for seating and every seat was taken, but there's a ton of shaded seats outside. The coffee was pretty good. A real great balance of the espresso to the vanilla syrup to the oat milk. It wasn't quite $10 worthy, but was in the top range of lattes I've had in Austin. I see myself going back, but the price tag makes the trip less urgent than I would have expected. I hate to hammer that home as my biggest reaction from the place, but it's just a shocking expenditure. The staff were great and friendly, the atmosphere and space were great, and the coffee was superior to a lot of places in Austin. I'll go back sometime soon. Maybe another day, but definitely not tomorrow like the name might suggest. RIYL: Pricey but quality coffee

Everyone's been losing their minds over the mango sticky rice matcha so we swung by on our trail walk. It was good, a little sweet and a little pricy for my taste, but I enjoyed it. Line goes out the door but they're pretty quick with turnaround on making drinks that it isn't bad!

I finally tried the mango sticky rice matcha! I am both a mango sticky rice and matcha lover so I had to put it on my list to try it. I like it but I was imagining some rice pieces as a topping. The mango is syrupy and I wish there were mango pieces at the top. Matcha is ok. The price after tax is $9.20, which is one of the most expensive matcha drink I've ever ordered in Austin. Mañana has two locations-downtown (this one) and South Congress. It was my first time at this location and it seemed a lot smaller than the South Congress one. I think the South Congress one is prettier and has a nice private patio. There's free WiFi and they validate parking at the Gables Park Tower Garage for an hour. You would need to scan the QR code in the garage to start the parking and enter your card details. The minimum you can pick is two hours but once you scan the Mañana QR code on the counter where you order, the time resets to one hour and if you exit the garage before then, the charges fall off. They sell merch and have a cute mini art machine! I like the unique flavor. However, this is a one and done thing for me. I can't justify the price when there are larger drinks at boba/matcha places for less.

5 stars all around!! Line was long on a Sunday morning but it went fast and the baristas were friendly. Super good coffee and fun flavors like carrot cake and brown butter! Cute merch and large outdoor seating area.

I stopped by Mañana Cafe with my walk club group (about 17 of us), and everyone ordered a mix of matchas and iced coffees. Unfortunately, the overall experience was a bit underwhelming. Most of the drinks came out very watery and lacked the rich flavor you'd typically expect my matcha included. It just didn't have that smooth, strong taste, and several others in the group said the same about their orders. But I did have a large group come in all at once, so I'm hoping it may have just been an off day for them. The space itself was nice, and the staff was friendly, so I'd honestly be open to giving this cafe another try in the future and seeing if the drinks hit differently next time.

5/5 for the pastries. I love their croissants. 4/5 for the drinks. I heard about the sticky rice mango matcha for a while now and finally tried it. It was not worth the price tag. The mango part is only syrup. I know other places put a real piece of dry mangos on top. The matcha is also not that rich in flavor and fragrant. It's still good, but nothing to blow me away. Overall I love this location. I'll be back for more.

I ordered the popular mango sticky rice matcha. Price: $8.50 Verdict: Spendy... but honestly, the best flavored matcha I've ever had. Worth it. The line both times I've went was to the door, but sometimes you can order online. They have snacks, food, drinks, merch, and other cool things. Limited seating inside but more seating (covered) outside.

One the first Monday of every month, Nike Run Club hosts a "Mañana Mosey" from this coffee shop. After a 3-mile run on Lady Bird Lake trail, Nike provides coffee from Mañana Dos. I tried the "King Bee," a coffee containing salted honey + rosemary latte topped with smoked maldon salt, iced or hot. I chose hot, since it was a little chilly this morning. The coffee was very delicious; the honey didn't make it too sweet, and the touch of salt and rosemary balanced out the flavor. The servers do a great job of keeping up with all the runners' orders in a timely and friendly fashion, calling out the names when the drink is ready. I look forward to this coffee run every month!

mañana coffee is a cute spot with a nice ambiance, though not very spacious. they offer one hour of validated parking, which is super convenient, and also sell some really cute items inside. the mango sticky rice matcha was good, not too sweet, and the tropical flavors came through nicely. we also tried their seasonal raspberry syrup, which had a great balance of sweet and tart esp when paired with the coffee. that said, it's hard to justify spending $9 for a drink that felt just okay in quality :/ overall, i'm glad i tried it, but it's not somewhere i'd go out of my way to return to

What a friendly and inviting spot to grab a drink. I walked in around 8am on a Wednesday and it was quite crowded. Luckily, there was no line and a few races left over. The combination of inside and outside seating, and covered in shade was a huge plus. They have a TON of options when it comes to drinks, but I stuck with a standard cold brew. Outside the normal coffee needs, there' was two things that stood out the most. I love the water station right when you enter, and they even have a little bucket with crayons and paper for the kids.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a quick drink. We had heard a lot about the Mango Sticky Rice matcha. The building is beautiful with a lot of outdoor seating. The line progressed quickly and the service was quick. The drink was alright, the mango had sunk to the bottom and was difficult to mix into the rest if the drink. However, the flavor was so strong and the matcha tasted high quality. We had a great time here!

While we're glad you joined us, I'm sorry to hear your breakfast experience didn't meet expectations. We'll be reviewing your comments with our culinary team to improve consistency. We appreciate you giving us a try and hope to provide a better experience in the future. Warm regards, Wes Brown It's great to receive a response from the business manager regarding our experience at their restaurant, but all four us thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. We had absolutely no complaints regarding our dining experience. Caroline is affiliated with the Marriott Element and Aloft hotels and that, I believe, where the affiliation ends. I try to avoid hotel eateries but I've had great dining experiences at hotels like the JW Marriott in Austin. We, four, stopped by on a Sunday AM for breakfast and we had a great time. They do have brunch cocktails available and their bloody Mary's were deemed excellent with just the right amount of spice. My bloody Maria was on point and we all got our Sunday Funday started. Breakfast was wonderful. Our eggs arrived cooked perfectly. The pepper bacon and real potato sides were off the charts delicious. They also offer a few TexMex breakfast options and Plus one was raving about her Huevos Rancheros plate. Service was excellent even though they became busy our server was very attentive. Pro tip: Sat and Sun AMs if you arrive early you can easily score a table.

Located in the corner of the plaza (next to the grocery store). Cute little bakery with a sweet older lady who speaks zero English but was nonetheless extremely welcoming and kind. She even gave my toddler a complimentary macaron. Sweet. I am usually pretty adventurous with trying new pastries/snacks and it generally works out well. Unfortunately, I did not like most of the things we took home that day (my husband agreed). A taro egg ball thing -- not fans. A gelatinous rice blob inside a bamboo leaf (believe it's called Zongzi) -- also didn't work for us. Finally, the beef puff (which seemed like a safe bet) fell short of expectations. It's my fault -- I ignored that part that said "beef floss." It had a stringy/processed texture that I just didn't like. I just wasn't a fan of the flavors/textures -- but obviously that's subjective. I did enjoy the garlic bread we also thankfully bought -- it was soft and flavorful. If you're not familiar with the foods, I'd recommend making sure you get a few "safe" items like the cream bread or garlic bread. Ultimately, even though I wasn't crazy about most of what I tried, it was a cute little shop with a nice lady running it.
